Age: 16, 17 29(aged up)
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Craft/Rank: Fisherman Apprentice/ Candidate Blue Rider
History: Freniar was raised in Eron Hold. He knows his father and that his mother is a Trader. When she found she was close to giving birth, his mother was at Eron. She wasn't one to keep a child while traveling, so she left him there with his father. He has six half-siblings, older and younger, who leaned more towards the other crafts. He ran around with his younger siblings, playing games and doing what he could to make them laugh. Freniar had time to be with his mother, he just wasn't as close to her as his father. It was mostly when she was in the area that he got to see her.
One day, at 9 turns, he was down near the docks, watching the boats come in and it dawned on him that he should try his hand as a fisherman, because he loved the water and working with his hands. His dad was proud of him for making a decision like that at a young age. He was tall for his age, which at times made it hard for him because others expected him to do more. While learning the craft he had fun, but it was work. A storm hit one time that knocked him into the nets. A knife was out to start fixing it, slashing his the back of his hands. The scars are visible with his hands so dark.
It didn't stop Freniar from dreaming of dragons. He stayed with the fishermen for about 2 turns, before a Searchrider came along. Lucky for Freniar, the boat he was on had just docked that morning. When the rider approached him, Freniar was in shock. He looked at the boat and his mates, they were his family too, but to be even a Candidate. He couldn't pass up the chance, he said yes to the rider. With a few farewells to the Hold people, he was off to Trine Weyr.
He didn't Impress the first two turns he was there. Slowly doubt started to work its way into his mind, but he pushed through. There was no way he would let that get him down. Weyr life was different for him and his outgoing personality kept him with many different friends. On his free time, Freniar goes swimming in the lakes to keep up his skills. He keeps nets in his room to keep his hands busy when he isn't hanging out with others.
Description: Short black hair that looks like he just woke up frames his face, with hazel eyes looking out from heavy eyebrows. His skin is a dark tan from being on the boats so much. Scars on his hands. He has a lean muscular body. Most often seen at the Weyr in pants and a vest, he is more relaxed when the vest is open or off all together. He is now of average height, finally fitting in with others his age that way.
Personality: He is outgoing, needing to be around people. Crowds don't bother him at all. It is when he is alone that he starts to get depressed. If he isn't in the leadership role, Freniar is most likely to be in the middle of the group. When push comes to shove, he is willing to take the lead. He prefers someone else to give orders, but sticks around to learn how just in case he ever has to take that step.
Freniar is flexible when it comes to changes in plans and duties. He does like having his work done perfectly, even his handwriting has improved since staying on land. He will go as far as he trust himself to go safe wise when told to do something. He knows how to be part of a team and work together, but he needs to trust his team members. It takes about three serious things to happen for him to distrust someone.
Even on the boats, Freniar would do his best to stay on the deck. Being below deck in confined spaces bothered him a lot. He thought it was just boats, but even down in the tunnels around the weyr bothered him. He will put on a front when with a group going into confined spaces, but his heart is racing and palms are sweating.
He has a habit of spitting without look. It doesn't matter where he is or who he is with, he will spit. Probably from the time on the boats. **If he isn't busy, his hands are doing something, anything to just be moving. It will happen sometimes while eating, his fingers will start tapping on the table or his thigh.
Other: With all that has happened, he worries about the new leaders. Will there be another attack on them? He wants to help protect them as best he can, while keeping the rest of the people safe from Thread. The first time Thread came, he was shocked and unprepared, but as soon as the shock wore off, he was out there helping as best he could.
**(OOC: This could lead to him having rope or something around him a lot to mend while talking just to keep his hands busy)
Name: Solath
Colour: Blue
Inspired by: The Sun Card
Personality: Hello there world, Solath is here in case you didn't notice! You probably did notice. Solath is not exactly a stealthy dragon. What Solath is, is full of life and vibrancy; he seems to have enough energy and get up and go for at least three normal dragons of any colour. He's not brash, or crass, or pushy just very, very energetic and maybe a little boisterous; endearing traits to some, annoying to others. Whether you like his energy levels or not there's no denying they're useful; Solath never seems to run out of go, or enthusiasm for joining in with a charge. Just don't ask him to be a watch dragon, he'd go mad within five minutes and probably decide that the best way to watch the Weyr is to orbit it at high speed bugling cheerfully at three in the morning.
Being rather loud and very hyperactive one might think that Solath would be one of those slightly dappy dragons who wouldn't notice a wher until it bit them. This would be incorrect; he's a surprisingly astute fellow, good at noticing when somebody is acting a bit off. He'll do his best to cheer up anyone he thinks is feeling down, but while he might notice they're sad Solath is Solath and if a problem can't be fixed with a fun race, a joke, or earnest reassurance that everything will turn out fine he's at a bit of a loss.
As can probably be deuced, Solath never holds his thoughts or feelings back; he is completely honest, and completely confident in himself. Why shouldn't he be, after all he is an extremely wonderful dragon! Don't think he's arrogant for this though, Solath thinks pretty much everyone is wonderful; so long as you're not cruel, you're extremely cool in his book, even if you're one of those dragons that thinks he's a pain. Solath's good humor and affability towards his fellow creature is as reliable as the rising sun, and just as warm and brilliant too. His ultimate belief is that everyone should be who they are, and be able to love themselves. He might not be the most delicate about it but he'll never give up on trying to show the people around him that they're wonderful just the way they are.

Freniar and Solath are both definitely people people. They like to be around other people, and not just one another either! Solath wants to make friends with the whole world (so long as they're not unkind to others) and needed somebody who would be comfortable with that.
What Solath is not is good at patience or details; he just can't sit still for long enough to be meticulous about things; he needs to be out and doing! Freniar's perfectionism will help him here, and likewise the exuberant blue will balance Freniar out, keeping him from getting too fixated on something.
Freniar's desire to help fight the Thread and to protect people appealed to Solath a great deal too; people are wonderful so they need to be looked after! Charging in to fight even if it seems hopeless is fine by Solath, perhaps mainly because he's too optimistic to ever believe something is hopeless.
Like Freniar, Solath is not driven to seek a position of leadership but his confidence means that - if that push does come to shove and Freniar steps up - Solath will be right there to support him, and to encourage those around them with kind words and an unbreakable spirit.
