Milo is fairly safe, he hasn't ever been dangerous or out of control, he knows when he's in a vision or hallucinations and learned that there's no point in fighting them. He's usually kind and soft-spoken, every now at then, he'll become a bit hazy or distracted because he's simply seeing something no one else is. If he were to take his medicine, he'd probably be much more useful talent wise but, the reason he was scouted for the school was because he wasn't taking it, it makes getting inspired a lot more easier when his mind is bending reality for him to paint. Milo is also a bit of a stranger to evil, he's an only child and his parents usually kept him away from bad vibes, he doesn't really understand why people do bad things or how not everyone is good.
Bio:
When Milo was young, he was taken to a psychiatrist because he kept drawing things that his mother thought were too strange for them to be real. From an early on point, he was diagnosed with a form of Wonderland Disorder, being that his case wasn't an exact match but it was the closest they could match him to. When he was 14, his parents didn't have enough money to buy him the medicine, being that they had been stolen from and he spent nearly three months without taking it. During the three months, his art had become better, it was because of him not taking the medicine that the had sold his new pieces and made enough to buy the medicine. While taking it, Milo didn't get hallucinations, he wasn't as inspired nor creative and his work had suffered... so he decided to stop taking it again without informing his family. Being off the medicine, he developed night terrors, strange fears, bipolarity and depression... though he learned how to hide those and simply act as if he were an ordinary teen. Milo had been gifted enough to have some magic genes from his witch mother and they'd found it normal that the boy had visions, they didn't know that half of the time, they were hallucinations.
As a teen, his family was well off now that they were making good amounts of money from his art, becoming a well known artist. He'd gotten a letter from the academy and because his parents wanted the boy to be more social, they agreed to send him off with the conditions that Milo had to have himself checked at the nurse's office regularly, to make sure he was healthy.
Wonderland Disorder: Rare, similar to both schizophrenia and DPD but different in many ways, not to be confused with Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. The person with Wonderland Disorder will have regular hallucinations that the person knows are not real, they can be both positive or negative, it had nothing to do with how the person feels or the environment, they're random. Wonderland Disorder is easiest explained as an 'Extreme Creativity' Disorder that causes the person's mind to mix it's thoughts with reality .
