History: When the zombie outbreak took place, I had been promoted to Lieutenant at Fire Station 18 under the command of Fire Chief Christopher Riley. It was just me and my sick father. My mother had been injured in the 9/11 attack and attempted a rescue which then became the death of her. I had an older brother too, Grayson. He got his late girlfriend pregnant and dropped out of college to get a job as a construction worker to help support them. After the outbreak, he went rogue when he found her and the baby dead. I haven't heard from him since. My father was too sick, so he stayed behind to help any survivors that came through town. I headed north, through the mountains and towards another town across the range. That's when I met my new companions. One of them had been injured and I tended to his/her wounds and gained the group's trust. Though I don't trust them, they are my only chance at survival in this Z-nation.

Other: My nickname stands for a few things. When I first started training to be a fire fighter, I fell off a ladder and broke my spine. Luckily, I survived the fall and a steel rod was implanted in my back to keep it aligned. After that, I was given a less strenuous job in the field until I recovered, driving the hot rod (fire truck) in our station.
