Sinistra was considering finding herself an area to patrol regularly. It seemed like it might be a good idea to have a predictable route, or at least a set of them, so she could at least monitor if she was making a difference or not.
It was like gathering information and data for a scientific experiment, which was generally how she liked to approach most things. Not just science, but any sort of homework project that made the job easier for her to wrap her head around.
She was incredibly good with books and paper work. Common sense and physical activity were a little more difficult for her, so she had to adapt things to her more favored style.
Not that she wrote anything down about her adventures as a senshi, just in case, but she did study as much as she could, however she could.
Wandering down a dark street, Sinistra looked around and wondered if this might be a good area to pick up as her patrol route. Not too close to her home, or the places she liked to haunt (like the library). But not completely unfamiliar to her, either. But was there Chaos activity here, and if there was, would she be able to handle it?

Not very far away, Chrysotile was contemplating much the same thing. He'd found a couple of areas that needed patrolling close to his mom's house, of course, because he wanted to protect her and his little sister from whatever was out there. But he also thought he needed to expand his territory a little bit, just to change things up. Show he was better than the average lieutenant. He was also contemplating Amphitrite. The corrupted senshi was on his mind a lot lately after their first patrol together. They really seemed to be hitting it off well together, both professionally and personally. She was cute and capable and cute and an asset to the Negaverse and cute… Shaking his head, he muttered softly to himself, "Get a grip." His first priority was duty, not fantasizing about a teal-haired girl. To get his mind off her, he started thinking about his options within the Negaverse. Here he was, trying to prove himself to be a worthy and productive agent, and he was still in GenOps. He had to start thinking about specialization or he'd never get anywhere within the organization. The most appealing, and the one he seemed to be best at (if his interrogation of that Order freak during the New Years operation was any indication) was Infiltration. SpecOps might be interesting, but he didn't think he was enough of a powerhouse to be a hardcore combat machine. And Intelligence just didn't appeal to him. Needless to say, it was a bit before the auric signature of an Order agent finally filtered into his mind. He immediately went on guard, looking around for whoever it was. "I know you're out there," he growled. "Show yourself, in the name of the Negaverse." Lithiasaur Oh god I am sorry this is so late orz

"In the name of the Negaverse?"
Sinistra stepped forward, shaking her head and knowing that did not seem... right. She was not really supposed to do anything in the name of the Negaverse, right? And anyone calling something like that out was probably... not as friendly as those who did not lead with their team loyalty. So far, she had not really run into anyone super dangerous, or willing to fight.
Actually, she mostly just made friends, or at the very least had someone nice to talk to!
The Senshi of Brooms walked toward him carefully, looking the Negaverse soldier over. He did not seem to look too bad, but then, maybe it was one of those 'don't judge a book by its cover' situations. As an avid reader, it was something she knew all too well.
"Are you up do no good? What are you doing out here, 'in the name of the Negaverse'? Nothing too bad, I hope!"

Chrysotile eyed the approaching senshi with a mixture of wariness and confusion. She clearly wasn't a corrupt like Amphitrite -- she was straight up White Moon. Why wasn't she attacking him? Was this some new Order tactic? He decided he would respond in kind, talk to her a little bit, find out what she was up to and maybe get some information (and some energy, if he played it right) out of her. This would be good practice for the Infiltration branch. "I'm simply on patrol," he replied, keeping as still as possible so as not to appear threatening. "You've managed to find yourself in my territory. My name is Lieutenant Chrysotile." He took a cautious step toward her, as if she were a skittish feral cat. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you." Which was only a half-truth. He wouldn't hurt her if she didn't attack first or fight back when he got close enough to gather energy from her.

Sinistra watched the Nega for a moment, pondering what kind of a soldier he might be. She had plenty of warnings about the Negaverse, after all, so she was hoping to be careful, but open. So far, after all, everyone was so friendly and pretty okay with her.
And he did not seem all that mean, either, so far. Willing to talk, at least.
She did not, however, want to get too close. At his step forward, she stepped back.
"Well, I've heard that before, and so far you seem very pleasant! I don't want to offend you, but I also don't think I can trust you right off the bat, you know? Uhm. But my name is Sailor Sinistra! It's very nice to meet you, Chrysotile. I'm on patrol, too."
Not a very good patrol, though, as she was still not very sure what she was supposed to do when she found a Nega...

"I don't blame you for not wanting to trust me," Chrysotile said with a nod and a faint smile, halting his advance as she retreated. "I'm sure you've had your share of negative encounters with my kind." This Sailor Sinistra girl seemed harmless enough, but he too had had his share of negative encounters with her kind. He wasn't about to trust her right off the bat either. She was one of the enemy, after all, a threat to Earth. But he wasn't about to attack her, not if she might prove useful. "I promise, though, I really won't hurt you." He held out his hand to her, careful not to advance again and send her scampering. "See? No weapon. I'd just like to talk to you, if that's okay. How did you end up on the side of Order?" He was always curious as to whether Order knew they were aliens.

Sinistra looked thoughtful, but shook her head. She had not had too many bad run ins with Chaos, but she had plenty of warnings from her friends and mentors. That was more than enough to keep her on her toes, just in case.
Anyway, she had never been the best at making friends, so sticking it her usual, quiet caution was actually not all that hard.
"Uhm. Well," Sinistra wondered if she was supposed to share how senshi were awakened. Was it something everyone knew? She was too new, and was not sure what the rules were or where the lines were, and it was kind of a lot of lessons to risk learning the hard way.
"I was just sort of awakened one day, and I had this power and that was it. It was inside me the whole time, I guess, I just never knew it. What about you? How did you join the Negaverse? Was it something you chose to do?" She felt the White Moon had more picked her than she picked it, but she was still thankful for something, somewhere, believing in her.

Chrysotile wondered briefly what the senshi's head shake meant, then it occurred to him that maybe she hadn't directly encountered as many Negaverse agents as he'd thought she had. That would make her fairly new to the ways of things… and perhaps not as cautious with her responses to him as she should be. He could use this knowledge to his advantage, surely. The tall lieutenant straightened. "Yes, I chose to join the Negaverse," he answered proudly, thinking back to his rather painful corruption back in Chicago at the hands of his father, General Ruizite. "It was a choice I made gladly." To protect his family and the Earth from the threat the alien Order forces posed, yes, he had indeed made the choice gladly. It had been well worth it. But that was the only answer he'd give her. She didn't need to know the details of his corruption. Then he thought of something, a new angle to pursue. "So you had no choice in the matter. Did you ever stop to think about that, Sinistra? Does that disturb you any, the knowledge that you were not given any option in joining the White Moon Court?" Sewing the seeds of doubt in the girl's mind, hopefully...

Sinistra could not imagine choosing something like that, but she supposed it meant for better loyalty when they were allowed to agree to the whole thing. Of course, most did not actually get a real choice, as the two sides were either join up or die. Most folks just did not want to die.
At least, that was the feeling she had gotten so far, but then, she really did not have all that much experience with any of it.
"No, it doesn't," she said simply, and with a smile. "I am honored to be given this kind of power, and trusted to do good in this world. I never would have thought myself good enough for something like that, and certainly never would have picked to do it, if only because I was too afraid to try. I've uhm. Been able to learn a lot in a short amount of time... and been able to grow a bit. You know. As a person. Oh, that sounds so silly now! I shouldn't have said that out loud."

Well, that hadn't gone quite as Chrysotile had been hoping it would. Sinistra seemed blissfully content with being on the side of Order. Not the least bit of hesitation or doubt in her words at all. He did, at least, get confirmation that she hadn't been in the senshi game for very long at all. He wondered how much she really knew. He'd have to enlighten her a little. "Well, that makes sense, I suppose, given that you're an alien. Did you realize that? Yes, you and those like you are aliens." The lieutenant took a step toward her again. "Your home is on another world, isn't it? The world of Sinistra? You're invaders, you and your kind. You say you want to do good in this world. What about your own world?"

Sinistra frowned at him.
"I beg your pardon? What did you call me? I, sir, am not an alien. I was born right here, in this city! How dare you be so presumptuous! I... wait. Another world? Oh, I see. You mean because my name is Sinistra, and that whole bit about homeworlds? I'm not quite sure that's what that means. I think that's just... where our power is? That's its. Uh. Home."
She was making that up, but it was based on things she thought she knew. So it was an education assumption, she supposed.
"But I've never been to Sinistra. I have, however, spent many years here, on Earth. So... of course I want to protect this place, and do what I can for my home, now that I have the ability to. Home isn't defined by where you're from, it's where you live. Where you... you know. Your heart is."
In the words of Pumbaa, home is where your rump rests.

Chrysotile shook his head. How could she be so deeply in denial about her true origins? Here she was, all but admitting that Sinistra was the seat of her power in one breath and attempting to claim all she wanted to do was protect Earth in the next. He knew the truth, of course. It was as his father had said: the senshi were all aliens. "Your heart may be here, but your soul is alien." He took yet another step toward her. "That is why we fight -- to eliminate the threat that those with alien souls pose to the human race." Taking a deep breath, he shook his head again. He had to dial back the fervent desire to destroy her for being a senshi, and bring up more of his psychology training. That would work well in InfOps, he though. "But, as I said, I have no intention of hurting you," the tall lieutenant told her with a smile he hoped was reassuring, reaching out a long arm to attempt to place a hand on her shoulder. "Not unless you hurt me first. You don't have any plans to hurt me, do you?" All he needed was to make physical contact, and he would be able to collect energy from her...

Sinistra was not too sure how any of that made sense, or how the Negaverse could just label people like that. After all, didn't they have the same chance of becoming white moon? As far as she understood it, it could be anyone.
They just got twisted by Chaos first. Hearing him talk, it sounded pretty cultish to her, and she worried about what kind of people were on the Negaverse, now that she was having her first look at it. It sounded like a whole lot of brainwashing to her.
"Uhm," she replied nervously, looking around as subtly as she could for a reason to escape. Maybe this had not been a very good idea. "I should probably get going, it's getting a little late. I'm sorry you think I'm an alien, but uh. Well, anyway, it was... nice... talking... to you."
Exit, stage left.

Quickly summoning his "weapon," Chrysotile tossed the multi-colored afghan at the rapidly fleeing senshi, in the hopes of entangling her and causing her to stumble and fall. He really wanted to pull energy from her, just enough to make quota and impress his superiors. Not enough to kill her or anything. The afghan just barely missed. "s**t." He watched as Sinistra made good her escape, disappearing into the shadows. Taking a few steps, he followed her, then slowed to a stop. He could have easily given chase -- she was scared, he could tell, and was just as likely to trip herself up as get tripped up by him. And with his much longer legs, he probably could have caught her too. But he wasn't feeling much like doing battle, and with her strange witchy outfit there was no telling what kind of magic she had at her disposal. Retrieving his afghan, he dismissed it and continued on his patrol. Maybe next time they met he'd feel more like fighting. Maybe next time. Lithiasaur And I'll call this a wrap! Thank you so much for the RP! <3
