Ploutonion was constantly wandering, trying as many varied patrol routes as he could. Seeing the city from rooftops was a unique experience - and he wondered, briefly, what it would be like to do this back home in London. (He'd lived in Destiny City on a permanent basis for years, now, and London was still home. The power of childhood, he supposed.) It was a form of urban exploration, he supposed; a way to see the city in ways most people wouldn't.

He could feel another powered aura ticking at his senses, and he jumped to the next roof, which happened to have a rather nice rooftop garden and some furniture. Someone in one of the apartments (he thought it was an apartment building, at least) was taking care of this place, which was advantageous to him because it meant that while he was waiting for whoever it was - and he was fairly certain they'd come to him, they were close enough and it was another Page, so it wasn't like either of them was in danger (...probably, but he doubted there were many Camlanns who would attack their own side) - he could sit in comfort on a nice, cushioned patio chair.

For all his patrols since he'd returned from France, most of Mont Blonc's nights had been spent doing a whole lot of walking and nothing but. But then, those nights where he did come across someone - it was sort of a mixed bag, but it was more bad than good. He'd found two senshi so far that shared a connection with his - was it a home planet? A host planet? A wonder planet? - a connection with his patron planet? He rather liked that one.

Of course, he was still hitting some barriers. Sure, he was less shy now than he'd ever been when he'd first awakened, but going right up and meeting new people was still hard for him. Even with the added benefit of a secret identity, he still felt awkward, tense, and tended to shut right down.

When he felt an aura and realized, somewhat to his surprise, that he'd finally stumbled across another page... Mont Blonc knew he couldn't afford to just sit by and hope they came to him like Methone and Aegir had. Given all the effort he'd put into getting himself here in the first place, he had to at least try.

So, he did - scaling the building by way of the fire escape until he emerged onto the garden rooftop. His yellow eyes washed over the lush greens and he felt a surge of appreciation swell up in him for the breath of nature amongst the urban backdrop. But he couldn't waste too much time fawning over it, not when he was face to face with someone like him... in every way, judging by the symbol he bore.

In spite of his own nerves, his cheeks already tinted red by embarassment and shoulders tight with uncertainty, he couldn't help the ghost of a smile that slipped onto his lips. "You're of Saturn, too, " and he sounded so relieved to be uttering those words.

Rather than greet a fellow Page sitting around like a lazy a*****e, Ploutonion stood up when he felt the aura getting closer, and idly bounced his pomegranate in one hand, so he looked as relaxed and confident as possible. It was rather a delight to see another Saturn page, and he caught his pomegranate and swept a bow.

"Indeed I am," he said, and he almost unconsciously turned the charm up as much as he possibly could. "Ploutonion Page," he said, extending his free hand. It was easy to slip behind the mask of the flirtatious charmer with his own people, and it had done pretty well for him so far. Particularly with cute people who happened to also be Knights of his planet.

It was too easy, really.

Honestly, the page could have been laying on the ground covered in beand and picking his nose and Mont Blonc would have still been thrilled to see him. - don't get him wrong, he was definitely glad that wasn't the case. This was much better.

A pomegranate - was that his would-be weapon? He felt a surge of bemused relief, not that he thought less of Ploutonion's weapon. More like, okay, if that was the case, he hadn't gotten completely gypped with the pen thing then.

Mont Blonc's smile grew bolder as he took the offered hand and clasped it firmly, unaware of just how much he'd wanted this until the moment finally came. He returned the favor by offering his own title, "Mont Blonc, " and tilted his head politely to the other man. "I'm sorry if I seem -- just, god, you're the first page I've talked to in so long." He spared a short laugh at his own expense. If he was holding Ploutonion's hand longer than he should have, he didn't seem to realize it.

Ploutonion grinned. He wasn't exactly bothered by the extended handholding, if only because it provided an opportunity - he brought the other Page's hand to his lips for a brief, light kiss, and then he released it.

"We do seem to be few and far between - I haven't met many, myself," he said, and his eyes were entirely on Mont Blanc's face. If he wasn't getting a reaction out of being a little theatrical, he wasn'tliving, and flirting a bit with cute Pages made it all the better. "I do seem to be continuing my lucky streak in meeting the loveliest - and handsomest - the Knight order has to offer, though."

Alright, so the other Page seemed a bit awkward, and that made the whole thing all the more fun and appealing. He ought to get some enjoyment in between the life-or-death messes.

Mont Blonc's eyes widened at the gesture, a hint of red flaring up into his cheeks without any kind of further incentive. Then Ploutonion kept going with the praise, and the page could swear he felt the stir of a stupid butterfly down in the pit of his stomach. So sue him; before Destiny City, it'd been a long time since he'd heard someone talk to him like that. Longer before that, he hadn't really realized he kind of enjoyed it.

"Oh, no, no, I'm definitely not that, " he corrected swiftly with a quick shake of his head, fidgeting visibly. If only he'd ever gotten the hang of responding to that kind of attention. "B-but thank you, I mean - no, certainly not, " he chuckled softly, waving him off one last time. "How long have you been out there? - have you seen other knight like us, then?"

Shy and flustered one moment, painfully hopeful the next, his yellow eyes bright with the prospect of more of them coming together.

Ploutonion had to suppress a laugh, because oh god Mont Blonc's reaction was just too adorable. How was he supposed to be anything but delighted with stuttering, stumbling, and general adorable reactions?

"I promise, you most certainly are," he said, but he was content to let direct flirtation go rather than risking scaring this poor awkward darling off. "But ah, yes, a few - Camlann Squire and Megiddo Knight, in varying circumstances." He found it prudent, at the moment, to avoid mentioning exactly what circumstances he had met Megiddo in, because to explain that would mean explaining that he suspected one of their Saturn brothers was a murderer - and he still had no knowledge of the exact circumstances of what had transpired, so it seemed prudent to skip over it. At least for now.

Mont Blonc began to stammer out some sort of polite denial when Ploutonion redirected the conversation, and so he focused on that instead, trying to ignore the persistent burn in his cheeks.

Camlann and Meggido. He laced his fingers together and then apart again, trying his hardest to commit those names to memory. He had to find them, or he wanted to - but the way he said it, Mont Blonc couldn't help but ask, his brow furrowing faintly as he tilted his head to a side. "Varying circumstances? How so? - were they not friendly?"

"Not...exactly," Ploutonion hedged. He wanted to dance around the issue, but there was no point, ultimately. "When I, ah, met Megiddo, she was...nearly dead, and accused Camlann of her attempted murder. I'd met Camlann before, and killing another Knight didn't seem to fit with the man I met - but Megiddo also had no reason to lie."

Mont Blonc might as well know the truth, because lying or hedging would get either of them exactly nowhere.

"Oh, " was all Mont Blonc could breathe out first, and he looked a little deflated when he heard it, his shoulders slumping and eyes widening. "Oh, I - I see..." He'd been wanting so long, wishing so hard, for other knights of his planet, drawn to them by a pull he couldn't quite place. It was the one aspect of his knighthood, really, that spoke to him as strongly as it did.

And now he heard they were trying to murder each other? - to say it was disheartening and disturbing was an understatement. He opened his mouth once, debating on asking if he knew why, how that could have happened - a personal squabble? A difference in views? - but ultimately he decided he didn't want to know.

Besides. There was a page right here in front on him, and there was no murderous intent here. He sucked in a deep breath and coaxed a fresh smile. "W- well, in any case - I've met you now, and there is n-no... variety to our circumstances, so - " He held out his hand again, because it seemed like the polite thing to do. He was not anticipating any more kissing. "I'm happy to have met you, and I hope I'll be seeing a lot more of you. Please, feel free to call on me any time you'd like. I have a lot of free time."

Watching Mont Blonc deflate made Ploutonion wish he had kept that particular tidbit of knowledge to himself. But ultimately, it would keep him safe - though it was probably unfair of him to force his particular cynicism on anyone else.

Still, his expression slipped easily to the natural charming smile, once it was clear his fellow Page intended to leave serious discussion behind. "I'm glad to have met you, too," he took the offered hand, and stepped forward, to place a light kiss on the taller man's cheek instead of his hand (or his lips, which might have been more interesting but would have been far less appropriate.)

"Be well, Mont Blonc of Saturn, and I hope we meet again sooner rather than later." He released Monty's hand, and stepped away, turning to give a little parting wave as he did.

A FIN JUST FOR U

The brief brush of lips against his own - however fleeting or friendly it was - made Mont Blonc's face burn a deeper red than his shirt, and when his hand was released, it dropped more or less uselessly at his side. He wanted to say something, probably should have, but nope - the page was rendered speechless, flustered as all hell, and it was all he could do to finally muster a smile for Ploutonion before the other vanished back into the night.

Mont Blonc would take more time to recover. Still. The first knight of Saturn he'd seen in so long... he really did hope to see him again soon.
