It was an odd feeling, when ones friends had all started creating families when you yourself had not. The large mocoa stallion trotted softly down a little embankment into his favorite glen, keen on feasting upon the plentiful flowers that now took up residence in the tall grass.
Normally Christian and Broderick would be at his sides, the trio of fraternal brothers, but his friends were busy. Broderick was teaching his grandson the finer points of a good fight, and Christian was attempting to wrangle his daughters. While amusing, neither had seemed a good moment for him to stick around for, and rather than mucking it up he had decided to go off on his own for the day.
He dipped his head into the tufted flowers, pulled up a section of earth, and began his lunch.

Blue purple eyes blinked a few times making sure she had just seen what she thought she saw. The little black and white pony had been having fun rolling around in the tall grass, when she paused to take a breather and laugh at herself. She had just stood to shake herself off when the large, and I mean large, stallion had crested the embankment. Little Samnie watch as he moved into the glen and started to eat. Of course she was way smaller than he and easily overlooked by the male. This did not deter the small mare from dashing over to him. "Hello!" She called out in her excited slightly high in pitch voice. Maybe he could be her new play mate!
