Evren hummed as she opened the cupboards to get herself some breakfast. Only to when she opened it instead of the cereal she found plates and cups instead. She stood shocked at the new arrangement that had happened over night. "M...Mother!" She quickly turned her head around to the woman behind her. "Everything is in a different place!" Yin sighed and huffed.

"I guess it is April Fools already." Evren tilted her head confused on what she has meant by that. Yin could only stare at her adoptive daughter as she realized that some holidays were missing in the amnesiac brain of hers. "April Fools day is a day where people play harmless pranks on people... well for the most part..."

"That sounds kinda mean though." Evren couldn't understand why people would intentionally want to trick each other on purpose...

"Well its more annoying than mean... your father plays the same trick every year." Yin was always annoyed because she always had to put everything back in its correct place. She had a delicate system set out... but this year Yin had every intention on getting back at Ryan. "Evren how would you like to try a trick on me with your father?" Evren looked over at her and tilted her head well she thought she might as well give it a shot and see what this holiday was all about.

It was later in the evening when Ryan finally came home from the vet clinic. He went into the kitchen area where he saw Evren, Evren turned at him and blushed a little as she wondered if she could pull this off. "Good evening Father." Evren said as formally as ever.

"Evren you do know you can just call me Dad right?" He laughed and set his things down on the counter. Evren nervously giggled as she took a deep breath.

"D... Father... I've made a number of new friends since you have taken me in..." Ryan looked up and nodded this was good it was great she paused. Evren had really paused because she still felt unsure if she should tell this lie but she said she would help mother so... "Well I have been spending time with one in particular and we've gotten really close..." Another deep breath. "They asked me to be their significant other and I said yes." It was then Yin walked into the room as poker faced as usual.

"Well isn't that great. I'm sure your father here is happy for you." Ryan's face however seemed to be covered in darkness. Evren was a little concerned as she heard him mumble something she couldn't make out.

"Eh?"

"I SAID I WON'T ACCEPT IT!" Evren jumped back at her father's sudden outburst as he got up from his chair and ran out towards the door.

"W-wait Father it was just an April..." He was however already out the front door. "M-mother you said this would be funny!" Looking over at her mother who was still in her usual blank faced self.

"It was funny... in fact that was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile." Evren just sighed and hung her head.
