Okay! This is set after the movie and the show, and its that same except for a few diffreances.
1) Ed and Al close the gate and stay in Artimes, they dont go through the gate to the other world.
2) Wrath is still alive.
3) Hughes is still alive (I love that walking Kodak commercail! )
This is YAOI! So feel free to have Yaoi pairings.
Plot: After the movie a new government is set up, making the military and state alchemists lose most of thier power to the new government. The people of Artimes are split in to two groups, the people that wanted the laws to remain the same and the people that wanted the new government to stay and change things. State alchemists and the military have also been split in two depending on where thier loyalties lie, many former friends are forced to fight one another, after being sent into the outskirts of Central (Which is now the main battlground) to try and keep the peace between the feuding people. This ladies and gentlmen is where our story starts...

I'll start!
Edward Elirc breathed heavily as he crouched behind a half destoryed wall, gunfire was heard everywhere, screams of they injured and dying, bombs exploded destoying once a buetiful little village on the outskirts of central, now it was a war zone. Ed sighed and looked around for any sign of his team: he'd been sent with Al, Roy mustang and a few others to help other military officers in the struggles to libarate the town.

Liberation-was their goal for today. He smirked as thebullets shot past the receeding silhoutte known as Roy Mustang. He's separated from the others on the team and was trying to scout them out amoun the blood, bullets and bodies of the fallen and injuried. His raven black locks dangled in his onyx orbs scanning the area.
Once white gloves were now dirtied by the dust and dirt, though with a snap of his fingers he sent a blast of flames raging towards his advancing enemies. He wouldn't allow this new government to suceed, not even over his dead body. Roy was indeed a loyal follower of the old government, though it's flaws were presented before his own eyes. He preferred the lesser of the two demons then this.
He glanced over the battle filed again spottng a familiar blond behind a stone all the ready to rubble with the next assortment of fire from the opposing side.

(Yay mustang is awsome! XD)
Ed saw flames whiz past him and spun around serching for a certian Colonel; Only Mustang could produce fire from nowhere. The blonde Alchemist finally the dark hair that could ONLY be Mustangs. Hurridly Ed crwaled over to mustang, keeping himsel;f as close to the floor as he could untill he found shelter again.
The with one lest burt of speed, The managed to dodge bullets and hide behhind the same place as Mustang. "Hey b*****d hows it going?" Ed yelled over the richocieting bullets that whizzed passed, while at the same time trying not to blush over his supirior officers ruffled look, which made him out to look very sexy. 'NO! MUST NOT...THINK OF...Ro-I MEAN...COLONEL b*****d...IN...THAT WAY!' Ed screamed in his mind Fighting down a blush he focused at the job at hand; The wall they were hiding behind was crumbling fast and whouldn't hold up for much longer. Clapping his hands together Ed transmuted the wall to be thicker, taller and stronger than before. 'That should hold them off for a little longer' Ed thought.

He looked to the other who crawled low to the ground. The dust exploaded at the impact of the heavy artillary on the weak wall. He damned the bastards as the vibrations were sent through his back, it hurt like hell. The harden surface of the wall and the force of the vibrations didn't add any good to his most recent shoulder wound. He winced under his breath so the other wouldn't hear and smirked towards Full Metal. "I'm fine considering the circumstances of babysitting in the middle of a war, how about you Shrimp?"
His black locks were sleek now the heat never really got to him since it was his own alchemic power to use but the flames and the humidity of the area had taken a toll. Thought none would notice the small droplets of sweat that ran down the side of his head and made a few strands of black locks stick to his forehead. His tattered State Alchemist jacket billowed in the winds as he stood to face the enemy again his hand whipping back and then forward with a snap of his gloved fingers. Sending enormous flames towards the opponents.
Ducking back behind he newly formed wall he sat there and leand against the wall looking to Ed with those onyx hues he detoured his mind from the thoughts of the younger male. Roy spoke wth authority at all times and was always blunt and sarcastic towards just about everyone. But anyone who's anyone knew Roy picked on Ed with a special treatment (ooc- Roy~ ::Gives big grin and a peace sign: smile
"Elric..." His eyes motioned to the opposite side of his position, "You take down the right flank and I'll take the left." He worked out the calculations in his mind for a moment. "And take out the tanker in th middle---" He ordered as another baracade was sent into the wall by the tanker.

Ed had to clench his fists (Ed still has his automail arm and leg) to stop himself from screaming in anger at the 'shrimp' comment, but he took a deep breath and mentally counted to ten, calming himself; Screaming at Ro-Mustang in the middle of a battleground was not a good idea. Ed stared at the Colonel and forced himself not to look into his supeiors eyes, knowing he'd start blushing if he did.
"Hmph! Fine, but this better work Colonel b*****d! If I get my a** handed to me, both me and Al will kick you a**!" Ed hissed before he flanked the right side of the wall, Quickly he clapped his hands together and slammed then into the ground and sent spikes of rubble to pierce through the tanker that was attacking them, from below, effectily stopping it advancing any further AND destroying the machine, but at the same time leaving the driver and gunner of the tanker un harmed; Ed had always sworn never to kill with Alchemy, and war or not he was determined to stick to that rule.

Roy smirked as he shrugged. "It wouldn't be a waste...you have none to begin with." He chuckled as he crouched facing the left flank and springing to that side of the field. The tanker blowing one last missle at the wall---destorying it. Mustang's lips curved into a wicked smirk as he breathed the word. "Burn" Snapping his fingers he'd sent the soliders against them into burning flames, hearing them scream. He closed those onyx hues tight as he tried to-and succeeded-block the cries out. After the screams and blood churning cries had left his ears he turned to see the other's work and observe it with a smile.
Ed had improved far beyond any expectations. But then again wasn't that one reason he ALWAYS pushed the short one's buttons? He smirked as he turned to the flames. Cranking from wheels of some sort. What was it? He paused in all movement but readily in a fighting stance. He squinted towards the dust and flames to see a black tanker, much bigger then the original one come barging onto the battle field. On the mid section it wore the exotic red sign of alchemy. They had more alchemists on their side now. Damn them! Damned then to hell, what was it this time? Though he hated surprises he smriked towards this one.
"Hey, Shrimp!" He yelled, teasing the other again, above the tanker's clanking noise. "It seems they've brought us a new toy t play with!" The Flame Alchemist chuckled as he straightened his posture and stared down the machine, scanning it's signand armor carefully---he wandered what type of alchemist it bore...

(Lol! I changed to plotline a bit so that the alchemist and military were split and are fighting aganist each other too ^_^ Seen as no one else hasm asked to play him yet, I'll play Havoc for now so there isnt just ed and roy, if you wanna play someone else to that's fine just tell me who)
Ed growled but made no comment to Roy's taunting; He knew Mustang was trying to piss him off, but he wasn't going to fall for his bait right now; they had more important things to deal with; Like the huge black tanker and a group of Alchemists from the opposing side.
"Great, this is all we need" Ed muttered as he ran a hand though his golden hair which had all become loose from its usual plait, and quickly, he tied it into a loose ponytail, then stood by Mustang and transmuted another wall to hide behind.
"I dunno chief it could be worse" a voice said behind them both, Ed spun around to see none other than 2nd lieutenant Jean Hovoc, Dirty, tired, but grinning and still had a cigarette end in his mouth. Jean crouched next to Ed and winked at him ina friendly way, but he knew Mustang would take it diffrently (Heh Jean knows Mustang likes Edo-kun XD). "Do what you two need to to, Ill cover ya" The dirty blonde soilder said as he loaded his sniper rifle.
Ed nodded and turned to Mustang "Got any bright ideas for this one Colonel s**t?"

Roy growledas he saw the preceeding alchemist over the hoeizion. "None of ours...Jean?" He cocked his head to the side as he shook his head to the other male. "Where's the others?" He questioned turning the the dirty blond solider only to see him wink at the other blond. He growled to himself and looked over the wall's side, his shoulder was killing him but he ignored the pain it bore.
He smirked as he looked to Jean. "Need a light Jean?" He questioned and without the other's answer the butt of the cigarette was flamed and burning. "Didn't I tell you smoking was bad for you?" He questioned as he shook his head black locks following the motions of his head. Fingers resisted the urge to run through them, he couldn't afford to gethis gloves dampened now! He huffed as he got on his feet and crouched. "Full Metal---the plan is...I'm going in first." He said blantly. He always held it as his first obilgation to protect the Elrics brothers, here and now it was still his duty. He smirked.
{And kk I'll take over as Al/Envy<3 If you like^w^}
"I go in first and see what it's made of, weaken it maybe then you come in to work out the rest---Jean you cover me with the as sniper if any of those forthcoming alchemists from the opposing side try anything." He stated with his usual tone of straight on authority and took off to do his part. Racing from behind the wall to the battle field to face the enemy's new 'toy'.

The strawberry blonde lieuteneant grinned as Roy lit his cigerette, then pretened that he hadn't noticed Mustang's jelous glare when he had winked at Ed. Jean grinned at Roy's questioning and shrugged, cocking his gun lazily. "Al, Hughes and Hawkeye are still in HQ, Breda and Feury are with a few others protecting it. Al really wanted to come out and help you Ed but i told him that your orders were to keep him there"
Ed nodded thankful that Jean had lived out his orders; Al had become a state alchemist not long after he had gotten his body back, but Ed didn't want him to get killed in a silly war so soon after becoming human again, so he had to pull his rank on Al to stay in HQ everytime a battle broke out, not that Al listened most of the time, but Ed couldn't say he didn't try.
Ed and Havoc's eyes widened in surprise as Roy told him of his plan and ran off "Is he crazy! That's near enough suicide!" Ed yelled in shock. Jean sighed as he aimed his rifle at an alchemist and fired. "Let him do what he wants Ed, the Colonel knows what he's doing" Ed sighed and bit his lip, almost looking like a worried child, he didn't want to admit it, vbut he was scard that the Colonel would get hurt.
"You like him don't cha?" Ed jumped and looked at Jean in fake confusion, but Jean knew better and just smirked knowingly at Ed "Don't worry I wont tell; It aint my job" Then Jean turned back to the battle field and began to fire. Ed sighed and crouched by the wall and peeped around it and followed Mustangs every move, secretly hoping the older Alchamist was going to be alright.

Roy could practically feel their worry on his back and shook it off to hold up a hand to them signaling he'd be fine. The the Flame Alchemist went into action. His blue tattered mess of a jacket billowed int he fierce winds as the tanker stopped in it's tracks and aimed for the wall and the alchemists around it looked on as they ceased their march.
Mustang's lips curved yet again as he ran forward low to the ground in a flash and turned, thus beginning his dance like attacks. The gracefullness of the attacks were swift and effective. He moved in an agile way and turned to dode the attacks of the alchemists that used their alchemy on him. He moved in and leapt as a spike perturded the earth and brushed against his shoulder. Though the colonel continued. The flames like deadly threads of death hung in the air and sliced through the enemy like scissors to paper. Clean and quit he approached the tanker and whipped the flames at the mechanial beast.
Awaiting a reaction, though it ave none to the affect of the flames. It glew a dark red and fired a assortment of bullets like the flames Roy had sent at it back at the military man. He winced a bit as he was hit, fight fire wih fire no? He lashed out his flames to shield himself and retreated only to be come onto by a wave of water! He grunted annoyed as h leapt as high as he could to avoid getting wet. If he did---they'd have him defenseless. And he couldn't at all costs allow that to happen.
{K I'll take over Al for now but not until after the fight!XD}

(Okay!)
Ed bit his lip as he watched the Colonel fight; if they wern't in the middle of a war he would have smiled; the way Mustang fought brought back memories of when he fought Mustang for the assesment exam. Ed winched when he saw Mustang hit with fire.
Jean fired at the Alchemists on his side of the wall, grunting as another went down; it seemd for every Alchemist he hit, two more popped up. Chewing the end of his cigerette in irritation Jean focused himself anmd fired again
When Ed saw the water coming He didn't even stop to think, stepping from behind the wall, he clapped his hands and slammed them into the ground and transmuted a deep pit, which the water harmlessly fell into. Panting for breath Ed yelled to Roy "Watch your back b*****d!" But Ed was smiling as he said this and the reilef was more than clear on his face, as he ducked back to the safty of the wall.

Al couldn't take it anymore, he had waited long enough and dispite what his brotehr had said, he chouldn't just wait around like some child when good peopel could be out there dieing right now.
He was heading out towards the battle friend dispite the orders he had been given, he didn't know what he'd do if anything had happened to ed.
