Umeko was trying to find herself. The cubs she had given life to were now adolescents and venturing out more and more on their own. They needed her less and less. Same with Anika's girls. With Anika out on a viking again it left Umeko feeling rather lost. She had nothing to that was just hers and hers alone.

Walking the pride lands Umeko felt even more lost than normal. The lioness needed something to make her feel needed. She couldn't continue to pine over the male that never wanted her in the first place, he had just used her. It was time to get over it and move on.

No problem! I'm setting this after his Viking with Erykk, timeline wise.

The large Reaver stood and stared out over a few of the cubs of the pride. They came closer to him, and he gave them a rough push with a paw. They squeaked their apologies before darting at each other once more. It made him smile, as he thought of the bravery they would show when they were older. Should the Gods will it, they'd be strong Reavers one day as well.

He watched until they disappeared from sight, before turning to address the female who had dropped a hunk of meat at his paws. He waved the thrall off, before tearing into the meal. It was delicious, and he found himself ripping into it with a quickness.

When he was finished, he sat up, wiping at his maw with his paws. It had been a futile attempt to clean himself, though it mostly just smeared the bits of blood around, creating a bigger mess.

Umeko's stroll had led her no where in particular, she had walked in a circle, taking in the pride around her. The plum lioness felt a little out of place still, perhaps she should find someone to talk with. She looked around and she wasn't sure where to start.

She noticed the male sitting not far from her. He was black and white in colour and had two mismatched eyes. Umeko smiled she liked his eyes being two different colours, it made him different. She was hesitant to talk to a male though, after all the last time she had been close to a male she had gotten burned. She decided to sit back slightly watching him finish her meal, the way he acted she was pretty sure he was a Reaver which only made her more hesitant to approach him. Letting out a great sight the plum lioness let her nerves get the better of her and decided to stay back for now.

It didn't take long for him to feel the pair of eyes that watched him. He had a feeling in his chest he couldn't quite explain, and he looked up. His eyes met with the lioness not far from him, and he arched an eyebrow. He couldn't understand why the female of his species were always stealing glances at others. Why couldn't they say what they were thinking and be done with it?

"Can I help you, or will you stand there and stare the entire day?" He asked, eyebrow arching once more. He cleared his throat, standing from his position. His large frame cast a tall shadow, and he started advancing towards her. He wasn't aggressive, but he could have a temper.. and he also didn't show compassion or weakness when in public. So he always came off colder than he truly was. But it was for the best, as the Reaver couldn't have anyone believe he was weak.

The plum coated lioness bowed her head ashamed to be caught staring at the Reaver, it wasn't her normal way usually she would have paid him no attention at all. Her mother was always going on and on about how useless males were, and she had to agree, after her encounter with Bjorn. Sadly thought Umeko didn't want to be alone her life watching her cubs grow all on her own.

When the Reaver came her way she noted his size. Most of the Stormborn were large in size, the Reavers in particular. Umeko being half god, as she had recently learned, held her own in the size category.

"Didn't mean to be staring, your eyes caught my attention." She told the male honestly no reason to lie about it, he had already caught her staring after all. She found herself cursing under her breath, she really didn't want to catch the attention of another Reaver, they all seemed to be the same.
