Introduction: Here with SE: Rivals, we offer many races for your RPC. Feel like being a demon? Well here you go. Ever wanted to try your hand at rping as a vampire, then choose bloodsucker. All in all, we have the more common races of Soul Eater that you can choose from. There may be a time in the near future in which we will introduce a new race, so please be wary of that. Also, each race has its own limitations/restrictions placed upon them. I will list these limits down below.
Human ___• If you are a human, you will either be a Meister, Weapon, Machinist or ordinary human
___• Humans tend to have the least durability of all races.
___• Humans are not allowed into Netherworld, no matter what. Should one enter there, they will be sentenced to death.
___• Only a small amount of humans can have Soul Perception or the advanced form.
Shinigami ___• There will only be two Shinigami within the guild at a given time. Currently these are Death the Kid (Lord Death) and his daughter Shira (The next Shinigami)
___• Shinigami are beings of madness and uses the Madness of Order to combat Madness of Chaos/Insanity, so Shinigami are mostly immune to any and all forms of madness.
Witch ___• All witches have the innate ability to use Soul Protect.
___• All witches are expected to adhere to and obey any and all decisions made by the Witches Council and the Head Witch. Failure to do so will result in your witch being labeled a traitor, therby making them an enemy.
___• Some witches may use wands or staffs to channel their magic, but it is not required.
___• Witches must be female.
Bloodsucker ___• Bloodsuckers or Vampires will need to drink blood on a regular basis or they risk their powers and life diminishing.
___• Unlike other fictional vampires, you are not unable to walk in the sun. So, you are free to do whatever you please.
___• Bloodsuckers have the ability to revert back into their past/stronger selves for a period of 5 posts, so if you want to make that an ability of yours, please do so.
___• With permission from another member, your rpc made feed on the rpc of another member.
Sorcerer ___• Similar to witches, Sorcerer's have the innate ability to use Soul Protect.
___• Unlike witches, Sorcerer's will need an item to channel their magic. This is usually in the form of a grimoire, which is a book of spells.
___• Sorcerer's must be male.
Clown ___• Clowns are only formed when an tremendous amount of madness accumulates in one area, usually in the presence of a kishin. As such, you may not create a clown, if this requirement hasn't been met.
___• Clowns have no souls, but emits an particular frequency of madness. So, if an RPC has the ability to sense or detect madness/insanity, they can detect Clowns.
___• Clowns are able to merge together with an organic being, thus gaining a soul. This is only possible if the rpc's owner allows it, also this merge is permanent.
Werewolf ___• Werewolf's are not limited to the rules of transformation by moonlight, so they are free to transform into their human or wolf form whenever they want.
___• Werewolf's are classified as both human and animal, meaning a werewolf may also become a meister.
___• Werewolf's and Kitsunes are enemies. So it is very unlikely that there will be a hybrid of the two.
Kitsune ___• There will only be 10 kitsunes within the guild at a given time. So far 4 out of the 10 have been taken.
___• Kitsunes can not be meisters in general without using human souls or something that grants them the characteristics of a meister.
___• Kitsunes are ranked by the number of tails in their possession. 0-2 Tails are generally the newly born or rookie kitsunes, 3-4 tails are the more seasoned and trained warriors, with experience. 5-8 tails are the veteran and powerful kitsunes. Their bodies have been honed and conditioned due to several hundred years of fighting and training. 9 tails is the absolute maximum amount of tails one can have. A 9-tailed kitsune(only one per RPer is allowed), is a being that has reached the top, among all kitsune, they are the strongest and wisest.
___• The highest amount of tails one can reach, at the moment is 4.
___• Within the guild there will only be 5, 9-Tailed Kitsunes, 2 of which have been filled. So, only 3 Nine-Tailed Kitsunes can be created.
___Kitsunes abilities fall under three categories that are required to follow
Category 1: Elements
The more common type of magic a Fox can have, they are able to conjure and control elements whcih can often be many things "Fire,Ice,Water, Earth,Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness, ETC. (bolded means more rare). Kitsunes are usually naturally attuned to nature and Kitsunes can up to 3 elements but the more elements they have they weaker they are, the two hardest elements often are the only elements that can be used if included.
Category 2: Creation
Kitsunes have been known as forgers using their magic to forge magic weapons and be able to create objects using souls and their own magic. This is the second most common type of magic they can do, this often can be between adapting their weapons to changing close or even creating things that normally cant be made. Creation does have a broader spectrum, Ask King of Relms for more information
Category 3: Unique
A special ability that doesn't fall into the first two categories and it a special singular ability that other kitsunes can't do, this is extremely rare for a kitsune to be born with and impossible for them to learn. NO MATTER WHAT you will be stuck with 1 ability slot if this category is chosen and it does follow the same rules. As well as this category is EXTREMELY rare to have.
___• If you wish to make a kitsune, you will be judged by King of Relms. Please refer to him, if you have any questions of concerns.
Demon ___• Demons are not the same as kishins, most likely your rpc will be that of a demon, rather than a kishin.
___• Demons are expected to follow the command of the Tribunal and the King/Queen.
___• Demons have the innate ability to seal their demonic form and take on the appearance of a human, while still retaining some of their demonic strength and power.
Kishin ___• Kishins have a hard time staying sane, as such you are most likely left alone.
___• Only 3 Kishins are allowed within the guild. At the moment all 3 positions have been filled.
___• Kishins start out as kishin eggs and once they have devoured an certain amount of souls they become true kishins. Kishin must devour 998 demon souls, 1 witches soul and 1 pure human soul.
___• Due to the incredible amount of madness/insanity that they hold, Kishins are forbidden to enter the human world, unless they can seal away their powers or something else causes them to become dormant.
___• Despite being powerful, Kishins are still expected to adhere to the rules and guidelines within the guild. They are expected to get injured and fight as equals, unless given permission by the Crew Members, to, well show off their powers.
___• Kishins can not Auto-Dodge, Auto-Hit, or simply take every attack a person throws at them, without so much as an scratch. Even Asura took damage and was beaten by weaker beings.
Hybrid ___• There are only 4 hybrids within the guild. Two of which are taken. Currently Hybrids are full.
___• If you wish to be a hybrid, your biography must be well written and explains the circumstances of your birth, perfectly.
___• Hybrids are considered an abomination by the others races, as they are seen as impure. Should you reveal your status as a hybrid you must be prepared to be attacked.

Human
Humans
Humans are, perhaps, one of the more common races within the world of Soul Eater. Normal humans have no special abilities. However, exceptional humans with powerful souls are meisters and demon weapons, that often gain special abilities from their Soul Wavelength. While Humans are generally considered the weakest in terms of power and prowess, some Humans who train extensively may gain abilities or power beyond that of a normal human. Many of the DWMA students and staff have displayed numerous abilities and capabilities in which are superhuman and may match the power of that of other races. Even among humans there are those exceptional few that have been able to obtain what many call a Pure Soul. Human beings with Pure Souls are said to have the courage and strength to not only fight back against insanity/madness, but negate it altogether. However, as there are pure humans, there are also Evil ones as well. These Evil Humans are are humans with "corrupted" souls. When a human commits a crime, they risk becoming a evil human. Depending on the severity of the crime, the individual actions, and reason, they may become an evil human. Their souls are indistinguishable from that of an human and a Shinigami is the only being who is able to judge the purity or impurity of their souls. If one deems them evil, the human will be added on the list that the DWMA students choose to have as a mission.
Soul:
A human soul is distinguishable from that of other souls. It also seems that all human souls are also blue in hue, though this may not always be the case. The attributes and characteristic of the soul is dependent on the personality and soul type of an individual. The souls of humans, despite their apparent weak power as a race, are very strong. Good human souls are the only souls that makes another more powerful when collecting, though the collector risk losing his/her sanity.

Shinigami
Shinigamis
Gods of Death, Death Gods, Grim Reapers, Shinigamis are known by a plethora of names and all are feared and revered as powerful true gods that preside over balance. They are by far the most powerful beings within the series. In Soul Eater, the shinigamis of the series are seen to have the appearance of that of a human. However, the shinigami can also take up a inhuman form, much like Death has. Perhaps the most known attribute of the Shinigami is the Lines Of Sanzu, in which seem to be the source of their power. Depending on the age, a shinigami may or may not have complete lines in the case of Death the Kid. However, it seems only one shinigami with all three Sanzu lines connected can exist. In order to ensure that there will always be a shinigami, there have been two ways shown that a shinigami can be created. The first is the method in which Death the Kid was created, which is as a fragment of Lord Death. A Shinigami will fragment their soul and create a separate being, in which the "parent" is able to either make them "complete" or "incomplete". This is the method that Asura and Death the Kid came into existence. The second way is natural child birth, in the case of Shira, the newest shinigami to be created.
Soul:
In the case of a fragment, a shinigami's soul resembles that of a human's, in other words, blue in color. Death Claws also seem to cover it's entirety as well as the 3 incomplete lines of Sanzu. However, for a complete shinigami, the soul itself is incredibly large. Death's Soul was vast enough to cover the entirety of Death City and Kid's own soul was more vast then the Moon when he became a complete shinigami.

Witch
Witches
A Witch is a powerful, humanoid female being in the world of Soul Eater who are powerful manipulators of magic. Witches appear to be rather human-like in appearance. Most witches featured in the series are based on a distinct animal (though not always the case) and have some of their traits in both their personalities, fighting styles and appearances. It seems that all witches are female, males seemingly Sorcerers. To make use of certain spells, most commonly when they are initially demonstrated within the series, numerous witches (and other beings capable of using magic) perform a specific mantra or chant preceding the statement of the desired ability. Each witch has her own unique phrasing that often pertains exclusively to their respective animal theme; for example Medusa Gorgon's mantra comprises entirely of words relating to her theme of snakes, being "Nake, Snake, Cobra, Cobabara". However; despite the various instances that follow this magic casting system, it is apparently not a requirement for all witches as both Arachne and Mizune are notable for the absence of any such statement, even though both have used magic multiple times throughout the series.
Soul:
Typically, a witch has a soul with a purple or dark pink hue. However, witches like Shaula Gorgon may show that this isn't always the case. Witch Souls aren't born as evil or good they can go either way.

Sorcerer
Sorcerers
Sorcerers, also known as Wizards, are humanoid entities with the ability of manipulate supernatural forces much like their female counterparts, the witches. Not much is known about the nature of sorcerers. Much like witches, their appearance is just like that of a human's. Whilst Witches are all female, Sorcerers seem to all be male practitioners of Magic. Sorcerers also shares the same system in which they utilize mantras. However, it seems that just like the witches, not all individuals require chanting. Sorcerers are known to be powerful manipulator of magic. In the manga, the Sorcerers seem to hold power of a superior nature to Witches. Much of the sorcerer's magic seen is somewhat similar to that of alchemy and is often linked to science and mathematics. It is possible that Sorcerers are responsible for laying down the basic foundations of magic that Witches follow today.
Soul:
A Sorcerer's soul, is the opposite of a witches, theirs appear to have a more black or dark blue hue to it. Just like witches, a Sorcerer's soul isn't necessarily evil. They are born neutral, depending on their surroundings and how they are raised, their soul could become evil or good.

Bloodsucker
Bloodsuckers
A Bloodsucker, also known as a Vampire, is one of the many monstrous races in the Soul Eater universe. Bloodsuckers are known for their ability to siphon (or "suck") blood out of living beings. Not much is relatively known about the bloodsucker race in the series. Only one is present within Soul Eater. However, it seems that a bloodsucker generally has a human-like appearance. Bloodsuckers seem to be a powerful monster-type race. A bloodsucker in the series also seem to have the ability of transformation into various transformations. It's unknown whether or not the transformation is dependent on their age like Mosquito or is a unique-trait within him. In addition, bloodsuckers are also able to perform magic and have incredibly long lifespans, similar to that of a witch, and are regenerative. They're also able to possess meister abilities such as Soul Perception.
Soul:
Their souls also register as a "monster" soul. The soul of bloodsuckers also seem to generally be a pinkish hue in color and look similarly to that of a witch's soul though the soul itself is dark red along with a dark purple center.

Clown
Clowns
A Clown is the physical representation of madness. They can only take form after a sufficiently large quantity of this particular force of chaos has collected at a singular location. Usually this process occurs only in the wake of a Kishin, whose corrupted soul emits a wave of madness so substantial that it can affect the entirety of the world upon release. However, it is only when this insanity gathers at a susceptible destination can a clown be brought into reality, by using the immediate area as a cradle from which to emerge. Upon its "birth", a clown's solitary purpose is the continued dispersal of the condition that created it, with the creature serving almost like a "contagion of madness" acting just to ensure that this particular infection continues its advancement along its destructive path. In order to achieve this aim each and every clown possesses a wavelength of madness that is capable of drawing other individuals in the immediate vicinity into the clutches of its insanity, by inspiring terrible visions within the minds' of its victims. However, how effective this actually is, is entirely dependent upon each individual clown's strength and how susceptible the afflicted person is. Despite the uniformity in each individual clown's purpose and ability, their actual appearance varies greatly between them, with the only visible exception being that they all possess a vaguely humanoid structure in their stature. The remainder of their bodies are seemingly composed from a random assortment of items, which is as distinctive as each particular clown.
Soul:
Clowns are beings of pure madness, as such, they do not contain a soul, unless they merge with a being that has one.

Demon
Demons
A Demon, also known as a Devil and Genie, is a supernatural and often malevolent being. In Soul Eater, most of the demons present within the series have been seen and collected in the Book of Eibon. By far, demons are the most numerous of the races, competing with that of the humans. Demons may come in all sorts of variety in appearance, having no sort of a consistency of appearances. They can range from massive stone-beasts, to small, humanoid figures. Demons in Soul Eater possess a wide range of abilities and powers unique to each demon and are normally considered dangerous to encounter. Attacks such as the Devil-Hunt Slash and Witch-Hunt Slash are known to have the capabilities of killing such creatures. Those with the Anti-Demon Wavelength also have a profound effect on demons. The stronger demons are known to be located in Nether World, while the weaker ones have been seen living among humans in the human world.
Soul:
A demon's soul is quite unique, as it takes on the appearance of it's hosts inner most desire. Take a demon consumed with revenge, his soul would be tainted black and seething with madness, as opposed to a demon who seeks knowledge, his soul would appear more clear and calm. The shape and size of the soul varies from demon to demon.

Kishin
Kishins
Kishin are beings created as the final result of consuming an unimaginable amount of pure souls. The process of becoming a kishin seems to revolve around the over-hunting and consumption of pure human souls. Only Demon Weapons, however, can consume souls, requiring meisters to find a way in harnessing the Demon Weapon's capability on their own. Those who undergo this process lose their sanity in their progress. It's also very well possible that depending on a person's traits and characteristics, those who become a Kishin embody their own type of madness. As becoming a kishin is very rare, there are many beings that have taken the first step and became Kishin Eggs. However, there are a few beings that have managed to go beyond that of a Kishin Egg and became what many call, Shinku. Named after the expression "to sink into madness". Shinkus are simply an advanced form of madness beings. Far superior than the kishin eggs yet not as powerful as a true kishin, a Shinku is nothing to joke around. Even mistaken as a Kishin, the variety of strength a Shinku may carry is hard to calculate or evaluate without a detailed soul perception skill. While Shinku are indeed strong, even they can be defeated or even killed by the hands of a strong weapon-meister pair.
Soul:
A Kishin Egg's soul appears to be a dark hue red, the tail appearing to be a much more light and brighter red color. The middle of the soul is purple and surrounded by hexagonal plates. A Shinku's soul seems to be a mixture of a blood red and black color, with intricately shaped bindings all around it. While a true kishin's soul is massive, nearly the same as that of a shinigami's and tends to be a dark/blood red color.

Werewolf & Kitune
Werewolves
Werewolves are one of the various races in the Soul Eater universe, notable for their signature ability to transform into large, wolf-like creatures. The werewolves in Soul Eater are much like their real life fictitious counterparts. They are mostly known for their ability to transform between their human appearance and a wolf-like form. However, unlike their real world fictitious counterparts, the ability to transform doesn't revolve around the moon and is able to be done by will. Within this category there is also the kitsune race, which some say is a relative of the werewolves. Werewolves are naturally enemies to Kitsunes, and will naturally fight them in instinctual anger(both believe they are superior)
Kitsunes
A race of Demons that has taken on the properties/skills of a Fox. they have a natural ability to have high sense of Smell and Hearing which can be both an advantage and disadvantage, the most common types of Kitsunes are elemental based which usually revolves around fire, but there are rare cases of Kitsunes being able to do more than elemental abilities. the normal amount of tails one can count on a kitsune is most often 1-4. Kitsunes are Naturally enemies to Werewolves, and will naturally fight them in instinctual anger(both believe they are superior). be warned Kitsunes are extremely prideful, if one is caught in a relationship(lover, children, family) with another race they are usually seen as outcasts.
Soul:
The soul of an werewolf seems to be of a green color. In addition, their souls are uniquely recognized and classified as humans as well as werewolves. The characteristics of their souls seem to take a wolf-like theme. A kitsune's soul is vastly different from that of a werewolf's. The soul of a kitsune, is eerily similar to that of a demons, but a much darker color, however, a kitsune's soul is also known to have various tails sticking out from it, ranging from 1 to 9. Though it very unlikely to come across a kitunse with a nine-tailed soul, as it is rare.

Hybrid
Hybrids
Hybrids are more rare than kishins and, in most cases, twice as strong as their single soul-ed brethren. Hybrids are individual who contains the blood of two completely different race/species coursing through their veins. As a result of this unique union of blood, hybrids are said to be the penultimate being. Bringing together the best of both species and combining it into single being. There aren't that many hybrids in the world, but the ones that are recognized as such, have been shown to contain tremendous power and skills.
Soul:
A hybrid's soul is unique, as it takes on the appearance of a soul split down the middle, with defining features from a their respective race, on each side, sometimes it can be a complete mixture of the two separate species. It has also been shown to change colors, as is the case with the witch/human hybrid, Crona. Crona's soul has been seen in a light blue hue color. However, despite that, the color of soul inside, Crona has also been seen as a purple hue color. It may be possible that due to their hybrid nature, the colors can vary in circumstances, though how or why is unknown.

Machinist
Machinists
The Machinist Order was founded shortly before Death City during the very last decade of The Grimm Times. It was originally founded by humans for humans in order to defend themselves against all other beings: Demons, witches, kishin, Weaponmeisters and so on. The Order was made up of humans who had been oppressed by such beings (usually for most of their lives) and who wished to fight back. The early years of The Machinist Order were its hardest and every day its members were forced to fight tooth and nail against superior enemies. Several times throughout its founding years the Order was almost wiped out completely. However, after years of research they finally discovered a way to match and even surpass the strengths of the beings they fought against. This breakthrough was called "Augmentation".
Through Augmentation, humans were able to artificially boost their strength in every area to counter their enemies. (How they do this is a closely kept secret). However, augmentation has its limits and the human body cannot withstand augmentation past a certain point. Therein lies the weakness of this new technology: they must choose their limited amount of augmentations carefully. Some choose to focus all their augmentations against a certain being such as a witch. This means that such a human would be superior to a witch in every way while the witch's powers and abilities would be virtually useless against them. However, this would leave that human completely vulnerable to every other kind of being which would have no problem being able to defeat them. Other humans choose to focus on two different kinds of beings, making them very effective against those two while still vulnerable to the others. Finally, some choose to spread their augments out over all the different beings in order to be decent against all of them and especially vulnerable to none.
This breakthrough turned the tide for The Machinist Order and they rapidly began gaining ground against their enemies. As their victories piled up, The Machinist Order became stronger, with better training, resources and facilities. In a matter of several years The Machinist Order had gone from a rugged resistance group to an elite and pervasive military organization made up of highly trained and highly skilled operatives equipped with the most cutting edge technology available. Unfortunately, the once noble cause of human resistance against oppression soon turned into a ridged, uncompromising human supremacist agenda. Now the organization seeks to either eradicate or reduce to "manageable levels" all other beings leaving humanity the sole rulers of the world. The vast majority of The Machinist Order are augmented humans, though they have been known to work alongside of or even enlist other beings that may be useful to them.
Currently the Machinist Order has been destroyed and Saint Clara, their leader, was killed. The survivors are currently scattered and attempting to regroup, some seek to join Death City while others look towards the future, building up their own factions in order to continue Saint Clara's will. Because of their unique body composition and animosity towards humans that have weapon/meister blood, Machinists are considered fundamentally different from them and as such they are in a Sub-Class of Humans.
Soul:
Despite their augmentations a Machinist's soul is still that of a normal human beings. There is very little difference between their souls and that of a Meister or Weapon.
