The titantron jolts to life. The view of the camera fades into a darkened corridor of the arena. Lining the walls were tables, chairs and a couple shipping crates. At the end of the corridor what little light came from it's adjacent hall illuminated what little of the visible corridor it could. Thus resulting a silhouette could be seen, and out of that silhouette a long hair figured could be seen perched a top one of the shipping crates, his back against the cold cinder block wall.
the figure lifted his head, staring straight into the wall ahead of him. The man let out a sinister chuckle and it became obvious who it was. The raspy and hollowed voice of The Entity was unmistakable.
"He he he... For a moment I was beginning to worry that my actions weren't justifying their means... At Winter Warfare you insured me that my trepidation was void.."
Riker then turned his piercing white gaze to the camera.
"You see Foxy... They say... It's better to burn out... Then fade away... And for a moment Foxy... You had me worry that none of this meant anything to you... You had me thinking that you could careless about how you will be remembered... Then at Winter Warfare... You showed me that I should never trust my eyes.. You see Foxy from everything you are you had me convinced. From your actions, your words, your mannerisms, how you presented yourself... Everything... You had me convinced that the Foxy I knew... Wasn't in there no more. However the Foxy I knew, the Foxy I know, never really was about the looks, or the finer things in life... No... The foxy I knew was a LIAR! A snake in the tree, deceiver... Foxy was a cheat, and knew no bounds to which he would conquer. Victory at all costs..."
Riker paused and ran a hand through his hair pushing back, out of his face. He then pulled his gloves down, and clenched his fists. Making sure his gloves were tight.
"Now hindsight tells me, your actions at Winter Warfare was a trap... You convinced me that I was an after thought, and that was your bait... You KNEW I wouldn't stand back and take such an insult. So you I came, and you had me hook line and sinker... Then when you got me in the boat... You gutted me... Mercilessly... At that moment I knew... I knew..."
Riker then turned his gaze back to the wall directly ahead of him. Letting a breath out through his nose.
"Foxy... At Sping In The Ring... You won't fade away... You will burn out... And... It... Will... Be... Beautiful..."
Suddenly the titantron cut to black, and the regular scheduled broadcast continued.
