Mintaka's hands were never still in her skirt. They, being her and Remarque, had agreed on a quiet simple event of her corruption. Unlike Vespa, Mintaka wanted it to be practically a secret that her sides would be switched.
Added to that, it would be frowned upon for a order senshi to be not just in the presence of a prince of the mirrors, but a negaverse captain as well.
That being said, the abandoned warehouse where future mintaka/aurostibite would meet, was much the same in their present day minus the rubble, and would host the said corruption.. Added to that, it was safe, outside the grid of the city where wandering soliders of either side could find them.
Remarque was yet to show and it sent Mintaka into another fit of how many times she could tug on her skirt or fuku.
"Do you think he changed his mind?" She asked Aurostibite, even though she knew Remarque would never do such a thing. The anxiety and excitement were hard to hide. "Or...or maybe the order side heard something and they have him..." Her blue eyes widened, "I hope not!"

He reached out a gloved hand and folded it gently over her fidgeting ones, Aurostibite's fingers curling slightly to hold them in place.
"Steady, my dear," he said softly, his voice echoing only a little in the vastness of the warehouse. It was familiar in a sense, and yet not quite, since it was only within his own memories that he had been here; it made his chest ache with a peculiar sort of longing, of something he couldn't quite grasp, just out of reach.
Aurostibite laced their fingers together, squeezing gently.
"He will be here," he said, in an attempt at reassuring her. "Admittedly, I have never met him myself and therefore my opinion is based solely upon what you have told me of him, but I don't doubt you, and therefore I don't doubt him. Don't fret, my dear."
He drew her hand up to his mouth, pressing a brief kiss to her knuckles, Aurostibite's expression a mixture of affection for Mintaka and wariness of the current situation.
"He'll be here," he said again.

Raven had decided to go to this corruption, but now that it was here…she was feeling rather uncomfortable..like she was intruding on something wonderful and she was just…she wasn’t anything right now…just a civilian with a baby in her belly and no real…proof that she was even in the court…well, unless the fact that Jett was in the court…and they were engaged. It worked, legit.
Legit.
The blonde took a deep breath and walked into the designated meeting place a few steps ahead of Remarque, looking around. When she spotted the senshi and negaverse agent, she gave a little wave. “Hey there guys. Um. I’m just here…I uh.”
She hurried over to the senshi, holding out a basket. “I brought you cookies! I hope you’ll enjoy being in our court…I’d power up myself, but I’m…I really…I’m not able to at the moment…right now…but hi. I’m Remarque’s fiancé. It’s nice to meet you both!”
She felt good about this…she wasn’t upset in the least and…she was excited to bring this lost senshi into the fold. “Welcome home!”

Remarque let Raven walk first; he was only in his eternal form, mostly because he didn't want to attract too much attention for the time being. He was very alert, very careful about making sure no one saw her with him. He stopped walking only when he had caught up with her; he wrapped his arm around her waist and stood next to her. "Sorry we're a little late. I wanted to make sure this place was clear so I was doing a quick patrol. It took a little longer than I thought. And I couldn't just leave her home," he said, giving Raven a little squeeze.
He looked to Aurostibite, sizing him up in a single look, and flashed a smile. He wasn't particularly the friendliest sort, but he knew where he wanted to keep good relations. If Aurostibite was going to be with Mintaka, he supposed their relationship would likely snuff out any of the awkwardness he usually felt towards Negaverse agents.
He did not linger for long; Mintaka was the reason he was here, and she ought to take his full attention. "You are still up for this, right? Nothing else you need to do?"

The power signature that was surrounding them was one that eased all the uncomfortable anxiety she was suffering from them. She knew it was Remarque, and most likely down in his eternal as his prince one would practically smother the area.
But what surprised her was the sudden appearance of a blonde and very lovely lady. Mintaka's hands tightened in Auro's, wondering if their spot was compromised, if, god forbid, she would have to do something to the pretty lady.
But her hands were filled with a basket, and words and it didn't take long for Mintaka (coupled with Raven's claim) to realize she was meeting Lestath, the future wife and mother to Remarque's child. It was a complicated mess of feelings and memories but Mintaka's face softened.
"Cookies...." She bent down to sniff at them a little, sighing happily. "This is wonderful, Thank you so much...." She didn't hear Raven's name but assumed her power name would be okay. "Lestath wasn't it? It's a pleasure to meet you as well. Remarque..." Told me so much about you...in the future. A daughter you and him shared. She refrained from saying as much, her eyes falling down before looking away. If the woman couldn't power then perhaps-no no she was assuming so much already.
"Ah this Aurostibite?" Mintaka held her hand out for the negaverser, holding her breath at Remarque's careful eye of her love. It was like...bringing a boy to dinner with dad or something and made Mintaka feel silly but...she had no doubt Aurostibite would impress, just by being himself.
"We have everything prepared." Her blue eyes went up adoringly at Auro, "We're ready for this next page in our story." She gently nudged the basket to Auro, "And I am ready to join your court. To be part of your family..." Her gaze went back to Raven, her smile widening. "I hope to make both of you proud."

Soon there were footsteps and a power signature rushed over Aurostibite, stronger than his own - but only one, yet there were two that entered the abandoned warehouse. A young woman with blonde hair who was most decidedly not a senshi came forward first, basket in hand, and Aurostibite frowned slightly, trying to figure out if she was merely a civilian or if she intended to be there.
It turned out to be the latter. Aurostibite gave a little dip of his head towards the woman, and to Remarque as he appeared right behind her.
"Good evening," he said quietly, respectfully. He had no quarrel with the Dark Mirror senshi, had not yet ever encountered many of them as it was, but considering that Mintaka had always spoken highly of them, the wariness he felt was more due to his desire to keep Mintaka safe than a distrust of Remarque and his fiance.
He looked down at her, and took a little breath.
"Are you ready, my dear?" he asked softly, running a gentle hand along her back.

Raven bit her lip and grinned, waving at Remarque when he arrived. Honestly…she sort of felt like she didn’t belong…but she was curious…and she wanted to see just how he did it…just how he brought people into the court.
When Mintaka mentioned the things about the future, she seemed a little surprised and laughed. “Uh…yup. That’s me. The one with the future baby, that is me indeed…though, maybe the not so future, really.”
She wasn’t one hundred percent sure that she wanted the Negaverse agent to know all of that…but hey. If he was going to know about Mintaka…then he was going to be involved with the court in some way anyway so…
The blonde moved back, standing next to Aurostibite, grinning.
This was going to be awesome, she was sure.
And after this, her and Mintaka would go shopping. Oh yes they would. Besties. She could just feel it.

Remarque nodded; he stayed near to Raven, but his attention was on Mintaka and the Negaverse Agent. It wasn't that he didn't trust him, it was that he was wary of all members of the Negaverse. But, he trusted Mintaka, and that was enough for him to tolerate Aurostibite.
"All right."
They should have gone to Mirrorspace; it was safest there, and he could have given her the full briefing, but it was also going to be a lot to take in. In the end, he had decided that they had picked a secluded enough spot that no one was really at risk. If he'd been able to reach a cat, he might have asked, but he didn't want to put Aurostibite in a weird position with the Negaverse.
He focused for a second, and then his clothes changed--and his aura. It was stronger now, but not overbearing; after taking his Prince form he seemed distracted for a second while he scanned the area to make sure they were still safe.
Then, he raised his hand and a mirror appeared. It was tall, easily large enough for someone to comfortably pass through. The reflect was a bit dark, and it seemed as though some smokey haze was billowing behind the reflective glass. The frame was beautiful and ornate, but had a strange antiquity about it while stil seeming timeless. Remarque looked at it, and then Mintaka.
"The next part is the easy part," Remarque said, eyes on the Mirror. "Just take a few steps and you get to change the future."
He glanced to Raven, flashed her a quick smile, and then returned his attention to Mintaka. "You don't have to be afraid of anything. It's safe in there." Well, probably, but his uncertainty didn't reflect in his words. There was at least one thing he was certain of, though: "We'll all be here for you when you step out."

She could feel the tenseness of Auro, wishing to ease it just a little by offering him a cookie from the basket. And it would be a waste not to enjoy a treat before whatever she did. Or perhaps it was better if she didn't eat...
The eternal aura faded, and it was replaced by Remarques larger, giant aura. If she hadn't met him twice already in this form, she would feel daunted and small, but instead, she felt well....a bit normal about it. And did it matter? Soon he'd be HER prince, and HER leader. Someone she could follow if he asked.
Her gaze lifted to Raven, as she took the small step forward, her hand leaving Auro's. "Wait for me..." She whispered at the man, then as she walked over, stopped by Raven. "I'm really happy for you, I was happy for you in the future, and even more so now." She whispered to the woman, and then her gaze fell to Remarque. She waited as she looked at him, taking in what was happening slowly.
And lastly, her gaze fell to the ornate mirror, as large as she was. With its smokey haze and its dark filling. Her heart was beating like mad, it was any wonder that any of the three other present would hear it. She thought it'd jump out and just run away.
But Mintaka and Failyn had never run from her feelings, her path, her task. And like Remarque had set, she was setting a new future in stone. One where there was no fear or hate.
"I'll be back soon..." She murmured to the three, but her gaze was on Auro. Her hand pressed gently to the glass, which wasn't glass at all and her hand slid through the mirror. There was one more breath, one more inhale and then she submerged herself in the smokey haze of the mirror.

He was uncertain of how the process to corrupt actually worked; and not only that, but he was relatively certain that the wariness extended towards him from Remarque and his fiancee was due in part to Aurostibite's status in the Negaverse, however small. But regardless, Aurostibite trusted Mintaka, which meant trusting these particular two, and he had no desire to interrupt or in any way disrupt what was going to happen, even if he felt flutters of fear that it would cause her pain.
Unlike Mintaka, Aurostibite did feel rather daunted by Remarque's princely form, and he stiffened automatically, more out of habit than anything else. His fingers closed around Mintaka's fingers before she could draw them fully away, and he bent to kiss her cheek, his lips gentle against the side of her face.
"I will wait for you, my dear," he said softly, and then let her go, his hand falling away from hers.
Once she was in the mirror, he turned to the other two.
"She will be safe, won't she?" Aurostibite asked hesitantly. "She will not be in any danger?"

Raven watched as Remarque shifted into his prince form…and for once she didn’t look away. To be honest…he was kind of…he was…
She was blushing right this moment. Her prince was actually…pretty handsome. And even though she wasn’t powered…she could tell he was strong. Anyone would be able to tell that he was strong…
The blonde watched as Mintaka went gracefully into the mirror, and honestly, she couldn’t keep a smile from her face…she was going to be so lovely when she came back out…so, so lovely.
She glanced at the Negaverse captain and smiled. “She’s going to be fine…don’t worry at all. She’s very brave…and you are, for supporting her through this…She is lucky to have you…and we’re going to be lucky to have her.”
Just like Raven was so damn lucky to have Jett…

"She'll be safe," Remarque affirmed, though he kept his eyes on the glass and watched unblinkingly. He had never known a corruption to be dangerous, but then again—there was a lot he didn't know. He needed only see the faintest sign of something off and he was ready to go in after her.
He was tense, but beyond his intense gaze, it barely showed.
Still though, Raven was reassuring. Her confidence stacked on his own, and she had answered with a sweetness he just didn't have.
"And I'm sure we can all make the best of it. I suppose we'll be seeing a lot of you, Aurostibite. As long as you look after her, we'll look after you, too. So if either of you need anything, you make sure you come to us. If you find yourself in a hole, don't dig it deeper, ask for help."
…The Negaverse was a vile, twisted thing. Remarque suspected it wouldn't be too difficult to wind up in trouble if you slipped up somewhere along the lines. The way he saw it, Aurostibite might as well have been an ally in the front lines. If Aurostibite cared enough about Mintaka, he would be a great asset—but that also put him in a delicate position.
The Negaverse was not kind to its traitors.
Having a safety met could make a world of difference.
…But Remarque supposed they wouldn't have to figure that out until after Mintaka emerged from the mirror.
Having a safety net for corruptions might have been a wise idea.
He didn't like that he couldn’t see her to guide her back.

Literally seconds after stepping into the mirror, Mintaka popped back out.
She no longer felt...order. But she didn't really feel all that different.
But when she looked down her fuku changed, Her hands went up to her hair and then...her eyes. Her eyes were no longer the soft blue that was heritage for american side, replaced now with a deep dark red, like her fuku.
"Auro?" She looked at him, felt the same signature of chaos but different from him. And then her gaze went to Remarque..."Am...I...a dark mirror now?"
She really didn't feel THAT different! She had all her memories and such too! It was...She didn't know. Not even painful.
"I thought perhaps I would have a trial or something to go through-" She twisted at the baby doll dress that fluttered against her skin....as well as the bells on her arms and her legs.

Aurostibite blinked slowly at Raven, still feeling a little unnerved by the fact that Mintaka was no longer in his sight; but the reassurance from both Raven and Prince Remarque was welcomed with a solemn nod from him, some of the tension easing from Aurostibite's shoulders.
"Thank you," he said quietly. "And yes, I plan entirely on taking my place beside her throughout this process, regardless of...my alliances."
It felt a little strange, to be standing here as the Negaverse agent among the Dark Mirrors. But even with his loyalty to the Negaverse, Aurostibite's loyalty to Mintaka ran deeper, stronger, more passionate than anything else. He would have died for her without a second thought, and if it came down to things, he would choose her above the Negaverse.
He sincerely wished it would not come to that, but life was not usually so kind.
Aurostibite opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, Mintaka reappeared, and his breath was lost in his throat.
Her face was the same, but the rest of her was not. The fuku was different, her aura and power signature slightly off, and her eyes drank him in, a deep, dark red that looked like pools of dark wine or liquid fire. A gentle jingling of bells emanated from her dress.
For a few seconds, he said nothing at all - and then a relief, pure and bright, swept through him, and uncaring of the small audience of Remarque and Raven, Aurostibite stepped forward and dragged Mintaka up against his chest, wrapping his arms around her.
"Thank heavens," he whispered, burying his face into her hair and exhaling a shaky breath.

Oh…oh she was stunning. Raven gave a little, happy sigh when Mintaka came back out of the mirror, a new senshi, transformed into something…wonderful. Better. Something perfect. “You are stunning…” Her words faded to a whisper as she watched the two love birds embrace…she really felt as though she was intruding now…and it wasn’t a feeling she liked.
Slowly and quietly she walked over to Remarque, resting against him. “Should we go home, love? I think our work here is done…and uh…I’m sure these two would like some time alone…”
Not to mention…seeing those two made her want some time alone with her honey…so…
It was kind of strange, there wasn’t any bad feelings for this…and how long had it been that she had really felt…happy to be a part of her court? How long had it been since she had been so excited to welcome in a new member?
She sighed happily and wrapped an arm around Remarque, unable to keep a satisfied smile off of her face.
Welcome home, Mintaka. Welcome home.
