Emily tapped her pencil on the desk quietly, looking out her window at the clouds gathered outside above the house, eraser making a dull low thump that was barely audible as she mused about the topic at hand. The house was mostly quiet - for the house - her father weas off and busy, Uncle Tom and Aunt Emily were away on some date, Quenton likely working on his motorcycle, and Emily could hear Flynn talking in a half-assed frantic voice in his room next door, his wolf-dog running under her desk with a whine and a look hoping for comfort from the quieter twin. Emily stroked the overgrown puppy a moment before stampeding paws of her own Goberian earned a simple foot raise for Rocky to take a flying leap under to cuddle "big brother", and Emily sighed, leaning back.
Purification. To make pure; to cleanse of 'evil'. Except the word felt wrong in a few ways. It changed people. It changed Helicon, at least, from Cas, to Andrew. Yet while the Negaverse was plainly dominantly a hive of scum and villainy, some good people were wrapped up in it; Sphalerite, a newbie or at least close in power, and Merlinite, who was forced to become half-youma, and then still begged for freedom. Others were despots; Painite coming to mind, and she wondered who was there to purify others. Was that what Camelot did? Could there be a way to help the good without being killed? And could Elpis purify anyone?
Emily hummed, moving her eraser to her mouth to chew a moment, stray hand finding a dog to pet as she contemplated her options and blinked, head tilting.
"I need to know more."
Emily wasn't addressing anyone in particular, Rocky raising his head of the two dogs in response to his owner's voice before re-draping himself, Emily sighing.
"I must talk to Camelot again. I wanted to tell him about Elpis anyhow. Or I'll find someone who's been there. Something."
The senshi sighed, and stopped chewing to write in a book before stowing it, sighing and shaking her head. She needed to crack the prification code, somehow - and until then she would keep researching, the girl shaking her head as she snapped the book shut. She could hear Flynn quieting on the other wide of the wall, and determined her twin probably needed a hug or a ride to a store to find a bunch of candles to burn, or maybe they'd go impromptu camping so he had a bonfire, but regardless, she'd address the problem later. For now, she had business to tend to. Emily sighed and rose to try to hide the smaller notebook in a shelf, next to a second journal titled 'Elpis' that she only eyed briefly before shaking her head and moving towards Flynn's room, the canines rising to follow with disharmonious tail wagging as she paused and turned out the light. As if on cue, a low rumble erupted from the sky, and Emily couldn't help but wonder if this might be some sign of things to come, and moved to her twin brother's room.
