Ciel was positively giddy today since she had gotten Camelot's letter to meet up. She was going to Camelot today, the actual honest to God Camelot. She had spent an hour trying to picking out an outfit before she remembered that she was just going to be going as Hyperborea so it wouldn't make much deference what she was wearing as her civilian self. She waited until her parents had gone to bed and then climbed out through her bed room window using the tree next to her room to climb down, as she did when ever she left to go on patrol. She started making her way towards the city.

Once she had made it to the city proper she found an empty alleyway and became Hyperborea. She did a quick stretch before she took off in a run toward her destination, the public library. Once she had reached the library she ran around to the back of the building and quickly climbed up the fire escape.

Once she hit the roof she saw Camelot and rushed over to give him a gentle hug, remembering that he was still hurt. "Thank you so much for this trip! I'm so excited!"

Camelot waited on the roof top for his arranged visitor, smiling softly and finding himself rather excited to go to his own Wonder. It was always a lot more fun, bringing someone else with him, and he loved seeing the way they reacted to his Wonder. Not that he had anything to do with what it was or how it looked, but he couldn't help but be a little proud of the place.

It was his home away from home, and he loved it dearly.

When she appeared, he greeted her with a hug and chuckled, shaking his head. This time she had not managed to hurt him, which was good, though he felt a little guilty for scaring her before.

"I'm glad to hear that! I'm excited too, oddly enough. Are you all set to go? Just hold on to me, and we'll be there in a flash." At least traveling to his wonder had gotten much easier for him, as he powered up. Now it hardly took any focus at all, and he could easily bring others with him, and visited there often. He closed his eyes, though, and cleared his mind to hear his Wonder calling to him. A simple pledge to recite, and soon enough the two were whisked off to another place entirely.

He opened his eyes and looked around the grassy hill they appeared on, a soft breeze rustling through the bright green blades gently. The air was much clearer here, and he took a deep breath of it, immediately feeling more at peace. In the distance, over the crest of the hill, was the castle of Camelot, and a great forest beyond that.

Hyperborea felt her breath leave her body, the same way it had when she had gone to her own wonder. She was in a place of true beauty and paradise. "Its....Its so beautiful. Just like I always dreamed, maybe even more beautiful than I dreamed." She said a light breeze pasted them. She had let go of Camelot's hand that she had grabbed before they made the trip. Although she didn't feel the same connection to this place that she did at Hyperborea; this place didn't feel like a second home as Hyperborea had which made since to Hyperborea since this wasn't her wonder. The beauty and wonder of it was still alot to take in. And this place actually felt alive as opposed to Hyperborea which felt dead and empty. Hyperborea wondered if that was because this was an Earth wonder or maybe because Camelot was a Royal knight.

She took in the air, it was just as Camelot had described. Much cleaner than back home, She wondered if they were really still on Earth. She then noticed the beautiful castle. "Mon Dieu! Its gorgeous." She said with big childish grin. "Can we go there?!" She asked, though like a little kid she didn't wait for Camelot's reply before taking off. It was too amazing to wait for, she had entered a dream world. She wondered how Camelot could ever bring himself to leave such an amazing place.

Camelot smiled as he looked around the familiar hills, nodding his head slowly, almost absently. It was beautiful, and he wished he could spend more time here than he did already, and he tried to visit often. Already he felt stronger, his body thriving on the magic in the air, his connection to this place strong and important, supporting his body.

He still had his shield called to him, leaning on the massive weapon as a make shift crutch.

"Of course we can go to the castle, if you'd like. And then to the forest. I can introduce you to Kilgharrah, and show you the crystal cave. And the Round Table, of course."

He knew she had been delighted to know he had found it, and he wanted to show her everything he could, everything he thought she might have loved to see. If the roles were reversed, and this was his first time here, they were the things he would want to see.

It took him a moment to notice he was talking to himself.

"Oh! Hold on, I can't go that fast!" He laughed, though he did his best to catch up, using the shield to aid him.

As Hyperborea reached the castle and she noticed it wasn't in as pristine a shape as it had appeared from afar. Although it was still very beautiful and awe-inspiring the gate had been broken down and the buildings were all worn down and broken. Its just like Hyperborea. What ever happened a 1000 years ago must have truely been horrible. Damn that Beryl woman. She destoryed such beautiful places and all for what. Because some boy she had a crush on ran off with some moon princess. Why did Camelot and Hyperborea have to suffer for some love triangle. Hyperborea thought on the verge of tears for the wonder she had dreamed of visiting and the abuse it clearly had suffered. Its still gorgeous though and the majesty of this place can never be taken away. Maybe someday it and Hyperborea can be restored to their former glory.

It was about this time that she looked back and noticed Camelot hobbling after her using his giant shield as a crutch. "Je suis désolé! I forgot about your injury in all the excitement." rushed over to him and offered to help him get there, although the height difference made that pointless.

Once they had reached the gate she turned to the older knight. "So I've been wondering how exactly did you become a royal knight? Did you have to go through a special ritual? Can only certain people be made royal knight, like do you have to come from a line of royal knights just like kings and queens?"

Camelot couldn't help the honest amusement that escaped him in the form of a rich, deep laugh. She was all too excited, and he could hardly blame her for it. Just because he was old and injured. It wasn't her job to look after him, and he felt a little guilty for slowing her down and cutting in to her explorations.

"Oh, I'm fine, don't worry! Please, feel free to explore, I'll catch up in due time, I promise."

He patted her on her shoulder as she tried to support him, but he could see that it would probably only result in him crushing her a bit. That was probably the very last thing he wanted to do. Especially when they were meant to have a nice outing: no one was going to get hurt on this trip, damn it.

"Well, no, not exactly. I was awakened as a Royal Knight when I was needed, I think, and perhaps when I most needed it, as well. I believe all knights have the same potential inside them, but it is up to us to awaken and use that power, with a little bit of fate and luck on our side. For my case, my son was in danger, and I came to help him. A General King had injured him, and while I was defending him, as a Knight, my shield shattered and the General King very nearly corrupted my star seed. But I suppose Camelot, or something else, was watching out for me that night, and instead I was awakened as a Royal Knight, and I was able to fight the General King back and protect my son."

He looked thoughtful, and distant for a moment.

"I am the reborn soul of another Royal Knight of Camelot, named Talfrid. He was a very dangerous man, though, and I don't think my connection to him was what allowed me to become a Royal Knight." Though, in his memories now he saw Talfrid as a fourth stage as well, taking care and teaching many new knights, and finding those that were meant for such duties. It was one of the powers Camelot now had, to be able to sense a knight before they were awakened, and he had only discovered that through a memory of his past self doing it.

"Wow that sounds so magical, I mean the part about Camelot coming to your aid and making you this awesome super knight. The rest sounds terrible and scary." Hyperborea clutched her chest absentmindedly. Having her star seed corrupted was still one of Hyperborea's greatest fears, while death didn't really scare her being forced to hurt people did. But then a word that he said hit her, General-King. Astro had mentioned something about General Kings and Queens as well but Hyperborea hadn't given it much though at the time. If they were General Kings that must mean they're even stronger than generals. Painite had almost killed Hyperborea without even trying. What if she ran across one of these General Kings attacking someone, she couldn't ignore it and run away but there's no way she'd be able to stand up to someone that strong. Even Camelot had to become a Royal Knight to fight one off so if she did run into one what chance did she have. She prayed that she never had to be in that situation.

"Wow a reborn soul, so I guess that means you don't have a ghost like Theseus." he was a little disapointed, she had been hoping to meet some real life version of King Arthur but this place and Camelot himself were more than cool enough to make up for it. "So is the round table in the castle?"She asked excitedly as they walked into the castle. She walked slower to keep up with him, despite what he said she felt it'd be rude to just leave him behind plus she didn't want to get lost in this big place.

"So can you tell me a little bit about purification. I meet a Captain who said she was going to purify but she didn't really say anything more about it. How all does it work?"

Aurelius Ambrosius

Camelot nodded his head, though at least now he could think back on that night and not feel the same level of fear and confusion as it used to bring. That had been a very overwhelming night, for himself and his son.

"No, no ghosts," he said, shifting gears into a more educational role, rather than lingering in his memories. "But I do get his memories, and I can see things through his eyes, as they were back then, sometimes. I have heard and seen what some of these Ghosts can do for other knights, though, and it seems just as fascinating. If not more so."

He sometimes wished he could speak to the ghost of Talfrid, but he understood why that could not be. He was the reincarnation of that man, so there was no ghost to be had.

He led the way toward the castle, nodding as he went.

"Yes, it is. It's hidden, but I discovered it not too long ago. Ah, I'll explain what I know about purification as we go." It was going to be a tough trek for him, as there were stairs involved. But he would cross that bridge, or rather those stairs, when he got to them. "Purification happens when a Negaverse soldier wants to change sides, and leave Chaos. It has to be voluntary: unlike Chaos, who can steal the unwilling away by corrupting them. We cleanse the Chaos from a starseed, allowing a Negaverse Soldier to become a Knight. At least, that is what I can do, with my crystal sword. Senshi Princes and Princesses can purify, as well, but they can also heal corrupted senshi and return them to the White Moon."

He took her into the castle and led the way, slowly but surely, up the stairs to where the first Round Table rested. It was in a grand room, a circular table etched with runes and images of the legendary story they were both all too familiar with. There were twelve sections of the table, marked by recesses in the heavy, solid stone table itself, and each marked by a massive stone chair that was uniquely carved for the knights that had sat there before him.

"I think you know this place," he said, motioning to the table. Of course, he had another secret. Another table, but this one less about legend and more about their legacy: something he had not even figured out for himself yet, but it had to hold some meaning. Maybe he would show her that one some other time. "This is where King Arthur and his knights held their regular meetins."

"This is really it?" She asked her voice shaking with excitement and disbelief that this could all be real. "This is the actual seat of King Arthur and his legendary knights. I can't believe it! I'm standing in the same sport that Sir Lancelot the white knight once stood. Chivalrous and bold Gawain, Kay with sharpest tongue, Tristian who was"Cornwall's Rose", Bedivere who returned Excalibur to the waves, Percival who healed the Fisher King, Mordred the traitor, and Galahad the purest of them all; they all held meetings here. I feel like I'm not worthy to stand in such a hallowed place." She took cautious steps around the room as if she would do something wrong and be thrown out.

"So if this is where King Arthur had his round table what was Camelot's role, the knight I mean. You said the last Camelot was Talfrid so I know he wasn't Arthur himself, so was he another knight of the round that is forgotten in the stories." She delicately traced her hand over the beautiful table.

"Its all so amazing." As she was looking at the table she thought back on her conversation with Sarras and the story he had told her. "Hey Camelot I'm not really sure this is a question but I feel like I can talk to you about this, so, how can I be useful? I mean I heard about all these horrible things, like what happened at a Mercury wonder called Mistral or how the Negaverse turn innocent people into Youma. I feel like I became a page too late to be a help to anyone. I just want people to be able to be happy and enjoy wonderful places like this but so far all I've done to help anyone is dust a few Youma. I don't know maybe thats selfish, wanting to save everyone but I feel like I must have gotten these powers for a reason but so far I feel useless." She said in a soft voice looking down at the table.

Camelot smiled, remembering the first time he had seen the table. It had knocked all his senses for a loop, and for a long moment he had forgotten the english language and could not remember how to form complete thoughts. Even now, it was awe inspiring to him, and he hoped it remained that way.

It was not something he wanted to start feeling run of the mill. No matter how many times he saw it, it still held all those legends he had loved for so long: it still meant far more than he did, in the scheme of history, and that deserved a great deal of respect.

"Don't forget," Camelot said gently, following her as she spoke, "you are a knight as well. This is all a part of our destiny, as much as it is our past. What those knights have done, what legends remember: they are the paths set behind us, that Knights have walked and left to learn from. Who knows? Perhaps one day, you'll be spoken of in legends as well."

He smiled, sighing gently as he thought about Talfrid's place in the universe.

"He served at the Round Table, yes, but his history is... complicated," Camelot looked thoughtful. Before Talfrid began to honestly believe in his role as a Knight, and what it meant to serve Camelot, he had been an assassin, and had killed other knights and many other figures or authority. He had been traitorous, but somehow, things had turned around for him. That was a part of the memories that Camelot had not yet discovered.

At her question, he motioned for her to take a seat. She could pick where she wanted, as he took his usual spot at King Arthur's seat. It was a bit presumptuous of him, but he could hardly help himself. He was a fan, too, after all.

"Dusting a few youma is an important part of keeping people safe. And believe me, I know what you're feeling right now. I've felt it before, and I still have bouts of it even now. Doubting my purpose, or when I can't see a way to reach the goals I've set for myself. I think," he said, leaning back as he considered his words, "helping others, finding a purpose in this war, is a very individual process, and it won't be clear all the time. A lot of what being a Knight is, to me anyway, is dedication to a cause. A vow to serve. Knights are meant to fulfill a duty, and ours is to protect those that cannot protect themselves. Aiding Senshi when we can, and even offering our help to any agent of Chaos that wishes to escape it... I think one of the most important thing a knight does is promote purification. I'm rambling a bit, but in my experience, even the little things we do, that don't feel important, can end up leading to something profound. Patrolling, keeping the streets safe, encountering the Negaverse and learning from them as much as we do from each other... it's all tied together. To be a knight, you need to believe that what you're doing, no matter how small it may feel at the time, is important. And you must always be ready to do more: learn what you can, prepare yourself to the best of your ability.

I consider knights to be the sword and shield of the White Moon, and we must always keep ourselves sharp and ready. We are the peacekeepers, and where the weak look for strength. You'll find that the more you learn and experience, and can in turn share with others, the more you will be looked to."

He smoothed his hand over the stone of the table, thoughtful and distant for a moment.

"Of course, we can never be prepared for everything, but that's why being strong individually is just as important as being strong in a team. Make friends and allies, and utilize them when you need to the most. We are meant to be a network, each with our own things to offer. You'll discover your strengths in time, and you'll find a focus: what you fight for. I don't know if any of this is helpful, but ah... that's mostly what I've experienced in all this madness, anyway."

Hyperborea gave Camelot a small smile. His words made alot of sense to her and did alot to put her mind at ease. "Your right. Thank you. Actually Theseus said something pretty similar to that, that a knight's first duty should be to keep the peace and protect the innocent."

"Sorry this trip is supposed to be a happy one and I go all melancholy." She gave a chuckle.

At the mention of possibly being spoken of in the same breath as legendary knights like the knights of the round, Hyperborea's face went beet red. "Oh I doubt I'll ever be in any legends. I mean I could see you being in legends after all the amazing things you've done but I'm just another knight. I'd love to be worthy of that kind of honor but I really doubt it would happen." She played with the hem of her skirt feeling flattered and embarrassed at the idea.

"So what was that forest I saw beyond the castle, is that part of your wonder too? " She asked.

Aurelius Ambrosius

"I don't find it too melancholy, honestly. It's good to ask questions, and I can't blame you for your doubt and confusion about what we're meant to do. Finding purpose is a very difficult thing, but very important to each of us. You'll feel what you fight for before you think of it, I think."

He hummed at the thought but did not explain it further than that, since he had already been expounding on babble quiet enough for one sitting. He imagined her ears would start going numb if she was forced to listen to his ramblings for much longer.

He felt very passionately about what he did, as a Knight, of course, so he could not really help himself when someone got him talking about it.

"Actually," he said, at her next question, looking bright and getting up as quickly as his wounded body would allow him to. "That forest may be another Wonder, but as far as I know, it is part of mine. Interestingly, there are multiple Wonders from Arthurian legends, all different areas, with different names, but we are connected. I can travel to my wife's Wonder, Shalott with her, by foot from here. If I was feeling like a long walk, anyway."

He moved to lead the way back toward the castle's entrance.

"I can show you the crystal cave if you'd like. And you can meet Kilgharrah."

"Wow even your wife is knight. Your family is amazing. Are your dogs superheros too?" She said with a joking smile. Shalott. Shalott. Where have I heard that name. She tried to place it, It was Arthurian going off of what Camelot had said. "Oh the poem by that Tensun guy. 'The lady of Shalott', thats the story her wonder is from. Or rather the story based on your wife's wonder, I guess." She was sad to say that was all she knew about the story. She had never read the poem herself, she just wasn't really a poetry sort of girl.

She wondered what the other Arthurian wonders: maybe there was a Avalon, or a Camlann. She hoped she got to meet these other knights, she wondered if they would be as wonderful as Camelot.

"That sounds really nice being able to just walk to another wonder. I wish I could visit other Cosmos wonders like that to just stroll to Hvergelmir or Sarras." As things stood she would need to be taken to either of those places by their respective knights. "But then again I guess it would be kinda rude to just go over to another knight's wonder without their permission, like breaking into somebodys house almost."

"I definitely want to see a cave of crystal that sounds so beautiful. And I'd love to meet this Kilgharrah." She said excitedly. She was curious to find out who this Kilgarrah and she happily followed Camelot as he led the way.

"I have not discovered Dogby powering up yet, but I have my suspicions. If anything, she would make a good guardian." Gizmo, their other corgi, was a little too young and silly to be much of anything. A Chibi guardian, maybe. But since they were not cats, it was not really an issue. He doubted he would ever be surprised by them.

He hoped, anyway. He doubted his heart could handle finding out another member of his family was powered.

"I've never been to a Cosmos wonder, but I think there are only a few that are so connected in lore that they can be traveled to like these Earth wonders. Though, that's just speculation on my part. I would like to visit more wonders, of any planet, if only to learn more about how this whole thing works. But yes, I have never tried to visit another Wonder without that knight with me. I don't know if that's possible or not, even with them connected. But I think it would be impolite of me to try."

He grinned sheepishly. As excited as he was about wonders, he was not going to intrude. Since his was so personal to him, he could only imagine how others felt about theirs.

Once they were outside, Camelot put his hand on the hilt at his side and silently called out to his companion. Soon enough, there was a loud, rumbling roar in the air, and within a few moments the heavy beating of wings was capped by a massive thud as a dragon landed a few feet away from them, regarding them with its regal, horn-crowned head slightly tilted. Camelot smiled at the scaled beast, moving to its side and smoothing his hand over its nose as it ducked its head toward him in greeting.

"This is Kilgharrah," he said, looking over at the page with a grin he could not keep off his face. He loved the dragon, which was just another pet and friend to him, and he was always delighted to be able to share him with others. Kilgharrah beat his long, heavy tail against the ground, regarding hype with its green, crystalline eyes.

Hyperborea giggled as she imagined Arthur powering up. "So what are guardians anyways? Ida, a transcended I met, mentioned a guardian cat them but I've never met one. So are they just animals with powers?"

Hyperborea hoped she got to meet one of these guardians they sounded cute. Though she did worry about animals fighting in this war, what if the poor things got hurt.

"If you want I can take you to Hyperborea, its only fair since you brought me here. Its not as impressive as Camelot and I don't know nearly as much about it as You do about your wonder. But its still pretty cool. Plus I can introduce you to Theseus. He's a bit of jerk but he's also funny." Hyperborea said a bit bashful.

All of Hyperborea's thoughts and questions stopped once the dragon arrived. It was a real dragon. She was meeting a real, living, breathing dragon. It might of been smaller than the dragons she always read about but it was still a dragon.

"He's so cool and cute, or is it a she?" She inched closer to it to pet it "Can I?" She asked motioning to the creature.
