The Sentinels: The Last Bastions of Destiny City
Overview: Andronicus puts together a group of both Chaos and Order who focused on protecting Destiny City and the civilians that live there. Their primary objective is to protect civilians from the rest of the powereds, usually by getting the civilians out of the battle zone first.

What Are the Sentinels? Androncius has seen what happens when the powers of Order and Chaos attack each other, and who gets caught in the middle. She has vowed to put her city first, before anything else, and believes its high time everyone else did the same.
Who We Are: The Sentinels are the last line of defense Destiny City has against the forces of Order and Chaos. They are a group of both Order and Chaos aligned powered individuals who understand what is actually at stake: Destiny City and the protection of it's civilians. They are duty bound to protect the civilians in any battle or disaster first, then to their factions.
Our Alignment: The Sentinels are Neutrally Aligned. They are neither Chaos nor Order, but in the gray area between. Their members can be of any alignment, provided their duty is to Destiny City.
What We Do: The Sentinels protect the civilians who can't defend themselves. This means that a Sentinel will step in the line of fire from anyone who is powered, be it their own faction or their 'enemy.'
Duties include:
- Guiding civilians from a large battle or youma/wraith
- Being a blocking wall while civilians run away
- Getting the powereds to move into a 'safer' location to battle, away from civilians or property (Ie an alleyway, a park, an empty parking lot)
The primary objective is to get the civilians out first, then deal with the threat.

Members of the Sentinels
There are six ranks within the Sentinels that members can progress through. While Andronicus is the only Cerberus rank Sentinel, any and all members are welcome to set their sights as high as they wish to.
Ranks:
Escort: Initiates to the cause, they have pledged themselves but not proven themselves. They must prove themselves to Andronicus in battle where they protect civilians from the threat.Requirements for Progression: One Battle RP with Andronicus
Guard: Members who have proven themselves worthy of the cause. Seen as the entry level position, Guards have the least duties, but must travel in pairs or groups until they have proven themselves capable of working alone. Requirements for Progression: Two Battles, Two Regulars, one of which is with Andronicus, One Detail Assignment
Warden: Wardens may work alone or with a group. Requirements for Progression: Three Battles, Four Regulars, one of which is with Andronicus, Three Detail Assignments
Bastion: The highest most members climb, Bastions are able to work independently and on high risk detail assignments. These include protecting well known civilians and high target buildings. Requirements for Progression: Extensive effort towards the Sentinels and Destiny City to be determined on a case by case basis.
Aegis: Those who have proven themselves to be completely devoted to the cause. Very few reach this stage, and are Andronicus' second in commands. It would require one to prove themselves through dedication and time to reach this stage.
Cerberus: Top rank of the Sentinels and team leader. Currently held by Andronicus alone.
In order to rank up, members must have at least one regular RP with Andronicus where they present their current work and ask to be increased in rank. She can refuse if she feels the member has not shown enough dedication. This will be rare, and can be plotted out as such if necessary.
These can be done through Detail Assignments, or normal roleplay.
Detail Assignments
Detail Assignments are special missions that Andronicus or the Aegis assign with regard to important civilians or locations that run the risk of being targeted for battles or altercations. These assignments range from protecting the owners of a coffee shop that has seen lots of powered activity, to making sure the mayor's daughter returns from school safely. Members can and are encouraged to put forth their own detail assignment ideas, either through application or RP mention.
Guards must work with a Warden or Bastion for detail assignments.
Wardens must work in groups of two or more for detail assignments.
Bastions and higher may work alone or in groups, and are encouraged to group with lower ranks to get them experience.
All can ask Andronicus to participate with them, though this does not negate their regular thread with her.

Inter-Faction Relations As the Sentinels are neutrally aligned, their members can be from Order or Chaos. Andronicus has provisioned the following inter faction relation policies to keep everyone in her order safe from each other, themselves, and their superiors.
Across the board, no one under Andronicus' protection is allowed to tell ANYTHING of their faction's secrets, identities, or other important information to anyone, including Andronicus herself. Under NO circumstances is information beyond that of the Sentinels and the location of powereds or large canon wide event information allowed to pass between the factions within it.
For Negaverse Agents, Chaos Aligned Senshi (Corrupted and Dark Mirror): Those of the Negaverse are still allowed to drain energy from civilians, however they cannot pull civilian starseeds. Ideally, energy will be drained from drunks, druggies, and other despots and not 'innocent' civilians. Agents are not allowed to grill Order members about possible plots or schemes and civilian identities, nor are they allowed to expose information of their own faction to those of Order.
For Order Aligned Senshi: Order Aligned Senshi are allowed to destroy youma, wraiths and deter those of the Negaverse from civilians. They cannot grill those of the Negaverse about possible plots, schemes, or civilian identities, nor are they allowed to expose information of their own faction to those of the Negaverse.
For Knights: Knights are free to do what they can to create 'balance' between the factions. This means they can attempt to guide Negaverse agents into purification. They cannot grill those of the Negaverse about possible plots, schemes, or civilian identities, nor are they allowed to expose information of their own faction to those of the Negaverse.
Otherwise, all conversation topics are allowed between members of the Sentinels, and making alliances or friends is encouraged!
Inappropriate Conduct
The following actions will cause the member to receive punishment and/or expulsion from the Sentinels. Andronicus does not tolerate these actions within her cohort.
Punishments rank as such, unless otherwise noted:
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Verbal reprimand
3rd Offense: Physical reprimand
4th Offense: Expulsion
These actions are not allowed:
- Intentionally endangering a civilian : Andronicus will expel you the first time you do this.
- Intentionally causing property damage
- Starting a fight within the Sentinels
- Picking a fight with Andronicus specifically
She will not punish you for the following:
- Neglecting your duties: Everyone needs a break
- Following your superiors orders over hers: She doesn't want you in trouble with your own leaders.
- Choosing to ignore one faction: She doesn't like it, but she can't force you to change
- Sleeping with each other
- Hosting party nights, etc

Sentinels Plotlines and Events These are the following possible interactions and plots that the Sentinels can be a part of, to give you an idea of what we'd be involved in.
- Altercations between the Sentinels and the rest of the characters, leading to either a good impression or bad (these include the Sentinels interfering with a heated battle, 'cockblocking' a corruption or killing, etc)
- A large event where civilians are caught between Order and Chaos and the Sentinels fight everyone to try to protect them
- Shenanigans, recruitment, 'bonding' activities
Sentinel Plotlines:
[ o ] OPTIONAL Meeting of the Leaders: Andronicus wants to talk to the Royals and other forth stagers about the Sentinels. She'd like to explain to them what she's doing, if only to keep those under her from being punished. This is not a necessary portion of this though!
[ o ] Creation of the Sentinels: Andronicus will put out a mass call to any who wish to protect the civilians to meet at a location and explain to them about the Sentinels.

Reason for joining? Sphalerite got involved in the war to protect people, to protect civilians. She already chooses the unsavory to drain, and she would rather not involve the innocent in war. The fewer unaffected or unhurt, the better in her mind. War is nasty enough without innocent lives lost.

What do you wanna plot? I would like to have Hyperborea learn about this group and maybe meet with Andronicus to learn about the concept, because this group actually matches really well what I want to do with Hyperborea after she hits knight. She can't join until she makes it to knight and decides to take a neutral stance on the fighting but I'd like to put it in her head now that the option is there.

Reason for joining? Cuz he knows Andro??? Loke has extremely few ties with his court, and in fact the only people he really knows are Knights and Senshi. He sees zero reason for the war and is lazy about it and finding more like-minded people would be highly beneficial to him.

What do you wanna plot? Themiscyra will support Andro 10000%, but right now she's not really able to be neutral against Chaos herself. She's extremely biased since New Years, and is still trying to help her boyfriend recover after he almost got forcefully corrupted back in February. Plus she hates a certain now General with a flaming passion. Would still love for her to talk to Andro about the Sentinels AND any to-be members, never mind assist wherever she can~ If anyone's interested, AU Meta memories could come into play as Themi semi-remembering them, or vice versa remembering her AU future self depending on how much interaction she might have had with the group later on. She could potentially join up later if she was able to get a better neutral standing, but at this point I know she wouldn't be able to commit to the cause in that regard... least not yet.
