Event will be held May 16 at 2 PM EST.
This snake has been stuck in a glass bottle for a while, and really wants to get free. Clearly the answer is to grow as big as possible so it can burst out in all its sinuous glory.
Instructions:
1. Our game of choice? Snake, obviously. You will be facing off against each other in Massive Multiplayer Snake Madness!
You may practice before the fated battle, but the room in which the game will take place will only be announced at (time) AM/PM on May 16 both here and inthread, after which you have 15 minutes to win by being the longest snake in the room! (Staff in observation mode will have player names turned on, so they will be able to see which snake belongs to which person. They will take a screenshot after 15 minutes have gone by!)
2. How 2 play: It's in-browser and you don't need an account. When the official match begins, please use your Gaia username or Gaia nickname as your player name to avoid confusion.
~ After entering your name, pick the designated room for the match.
~ Use the arrow keys or WASD to control the snake.
~ The immobile, single-pixel square(s) are food. Catch them first to get longer.
~ Crashing into a wall, another snake, or yourself makes you die!
~ There are gaps in the middle of each wall of the arena that connect to the other side. You won't die if you pass through those gaps. You will simply emerge from the opposite gap on the other side of the arena.
~ If you die, feel free to rejoin the ongoing game anytime you like, as many times as you like. It's not over until 15 minutes have passed!
~ Also, don't worry if you arrived late. You can join at any moment while the match is underway. There are no signups, either. Just show up and you're in!
~ If anyone ties for the winner, they shall duel in a second match of multisnake. >O Rinse and repeat until clear winner is obtained!
