Today 3-19-06, is a sad day. My aunt Michelle Powell has died. On 3-10-06 she was in a major car crash, and was without air for a long time. I am angered because even though passer buyers called 911, no one gave her C.P.R., so when the paramedics got there it was almost too late. They took her to a hospital and my family was informed that she fell into a coma, and would never wake up. My uncle (55) married her 5 years ago and was happy. His first wife. But now he is devistated because he lost his wife. But today 3-19-06, my family was informed that the surgery they were going to try, to use to save her, and hopefully wake up, did not work. The familys talked it over, and we are taking her off the machines tomarrow morning ( 3-20-06 ). I am very devistated, I only knew her for 5 years, but she was fun and made an impression in my life. She taught me many lessons. Please just take a minet, to think about this. Someday it could happen to you or your family members. So please say you love your family every chance you get, that way if they leave the world, they know they are loved. Thank you.

You have my sympathies friend...... I also know the pain of loseing a loved one you know for only a short time. My Great grandmother passed away at the age of 96..... We probably weren't as close as you were, but it still hurt a lot.

Are you going to be okay? You can always pm me to talk, if you want. I'll listen.
At least she wont hurt anymore, right?

You have my deepest sympathies. I've had my grandfather pass away of prostate cancer and an ex-boyfriend from leukemia. I'm here if you need an ear to listen to you.

I'm very sorry to hear about your aunt, and I'm sure you loved her a great deal. No one in my immediate family has died since I was 5, but I've had a few pets that I was very attached to that passed away. It's part of my beliefs that everyone moves on to a better place when they die, so we should be happy for them, celebrating their life, rather than mourning their death. =)Yoda Rejoice for those who become the Force. Miss them do not. Mourn them do not.

My sincerest condolences my dear. I totally understand what you're going through. I lost my cousin two years ago to Lupis. She had contracted it when her family moved back to the Philippines, and she was even on donors list for a heart transplant. They were getting her paperwork in order, but she just didn't make it. She passed away 10 days after her 11th birthday. My brother and my other little cousins were devestated, because they basically grew up together since they were in diapers. But this isn't about me, this is about you.
It doesn't matter how long you knew your aunt. Treasure the good times you did have with her and thank God (or whatever deity you believe in) everyday that [insert deity here] gave you to be with your aunt.
