Hviske silently made his way down from the mountains and towards the forest that bordered the ice territory. Night had started to descend upon the ice tribe territory, which meant a nice drop in temperature. It didn’t help that snow had started to slowly dance down from the sky above to lay a fresh coat on the ground below. For those accustomed to the weather the drop in temperature would be no problem, but for those who may be on lands they should not be in, well, that would be a matter of if their body could handle it.
With any luck he would not have to run into any such creatures and his night would remain relatively peaceful, especially since he traveled with no true specific destination in mind, and with little purpose other than to do what was expected of him. It was just terrible that the male had little idea what exactly was expected of him at the moment. All he knew was that he was to be Loki’s helper and a messenger of sorts. Maybe a henchman of some sort? The information he was given was not all that specific, but maybe more would be given in time.
With light paws Hviske entered the forest, eyes wide and ears alert. He listened as a breeze passed through the trees which resulted in some snow shaking loose from the branches. The odd sound of small prey items traveling here and there could also be heard, but nothing of true interest was gaining his attention.
‘Good’, he thought to himself as he continued to sneak around, ‘Maybe my night will remain quiet and uneventful.’

Sigyn was out only exploring in the icy tundra. The Icy triber only wanted to know the land around the tribe, to have seen her by her own Icy gaze. Judge and know it by her own breath, and taste the chilled air by her own tongue. Life, and territory Sigyn had believed was best experienced by one's own gaze. It wasn't something to only know by the tell of others.
Why, this night? Well it was good as any other...
The mountain was, after all a forever winter wonderland for the thick fluff B'alam. The darkness cast by the canopy of white trees, caused a white and gold maned Nahtil to show brilliantly among the shadows of the trees...
(Roll Above 8 will notice.)
A careful white ear angled, toward another's given direction. It was a 'given direction' that Sigyn's spirit tugged at her; letting her bowels know that another was nearby. An unknown other, which was bigger then any of the prey that was smelt on the air...
A careful dark nose rose to touch at the air, ears turned once more. It was a Tahtil, her spirit told her so. Breathing stilled, and her elegant footing shifted vary carefully to slip behind some of the winter forest brush. The only reason given to her such instincts to hide, was for the wise reason that it was keen to do so while in a unfamiliar place. That, and well if it wasn't a 'polite' Tahtil, they where bigger and stronger. Which meant cunning would need to take place of strength. That is if worse came to worse, such a thing was true for all Nahtil that face a Tahtil in such a confrontation...
Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that, such needless forms of aggression was best avoided. And vary well should be, considering the Nahtil, had done nothing wrong. She was just naturally calculating and cool. Sigyn was just and preferred to be perspicacious; she always like to have the situation be under her paw and control. If It could be helped, and by her thoughts every moment should be as she was in control of herself...

Stranger
The voice within him whispered with a warning. Hviske did not know what to do with the information the voice gave him. Was he to seek the stranger out and confront them? Was he to ignore them and continue on his way? Such a pain it was to have so much freedom and yet not know what to do with such freedom. There was just so much more simplicity in following orders and never having to really think for himself outside of instinct and meaningless tasks like eating or bathing. Life was just so troublesome in such ways. Slowing his pace to almost a shuffle, he made a minimal attempt to pick up on any sort of clue that a stranger really was around. Any sort of sound. Any sort of movement. Any sort of sign of stupidity.
Grand Weaver be praised if the stranger stays out of his way and makes his patrol easy. Praised more if the pathetic little life freezes so it is guaranteed that they make no trouble.
Still…
Female
‘…’
“Tch, of course they would be. A female is not worth the trouble that may come with her. Let the troublesome vermin freeze. It may do the world a bit of good. Wouldn’t others agree?”
Hopefully the stranger would take the bait.

Sigyn released a breath as careful ears, picked up that the other's paw steps had halted. Her breath then quickly halted, as she wondered and pondered on what to do.
Well one thing pulled and prodded at her heart, something she did know in the new confusing world. She wasn't a vermin, or a coward.
"Others would rather be foolish in all their ways." Sigyn stepped from behind the the tree. With chest proudly puffed, front paws rested skillfully poised as she halted herself from moving forward and closer to the Tahtll. Eyes seemed to elegantly down on the other.
"Would you agree, Tah?" Sigyn spoke letting her icy gaze remain on the other, her white tuff of a tail as nub as it was poised as straight as a pole.
If she had to be found out, it would be done proudly. As stated before she wasn't a coward, what ever that meant. However, though she reviled herself she wasn't any less the trusting to this Tahtll.

Hviske said nothing as the Nhitlil stepped out from behind her so called hiding spot and approached him. After all, there was nothing to be said at that point. The male said what he felt needed to be said to coax the stranger from her place of hiding, and there she was as he had hoped, so what more could he want or need from the situation at this point? What had she done to give him reason to take action? Nothing, and yet he still stayed and continued to analyze the situation.
The male did not approve of the closeness between the two of them, but he did not step back and attempted to hide his discomfort behind a look of annoyance. Still, he used the opportunity to get a good look at her should he ever need reason to remember her face.
Fur as white and pure as the snow itself, and slowly it blended into a black darker than the night sky. There were no stars in that blackness, only ice. Maybe it represented the icy heart she may possess, one that may never find any warmth like a tragic tale of bitchiness and stupidity. Yes, and such iciness could also be seen in her eyes, which seemed to glow brighter due to her golden locks of hair. Really, what purpose could the Grand Weaver have for a Nahtlil that looked like this, especially in the mountains? She looked more like one to be pampered than one to survive in the wilderness.
She surely did not feel like a soul that would cause trouble, but maybe that was a sign of potential trouble to come. He was told, at one point, that those who seemed to be weak or could blend with little trouble could be the most troublesome of all because of their ability to be overlooked. Truly, finding trouble before it's arrival was troublesome in itself. Hviske should have never taken up the position in Loki's court.
Pulling himself back from his train of thought, he chose to speak, eyes still locked on the other soul before him. Deep down he really just wanted to roll his eyes at her stance. She looked much like animal with all the looks but none of the bite. Still, whatever kept her cloud in the sky.
"I will agree to nothing at the moment, especially when the words come from one I am unsure about. I cannot say I have ever seen you in or around the capitol, so if you would be willing to enlighten me, tell me, what has you wandering around here? What is your purpose?"
He knew getting an answer was a split chance, but there were other ways to get answers should she refuse. Still, he wondered if he should even be putting so much effort into gaining that type of information. Was it even worth it? Most likely not, but at least it would bring about some form of mild entertainment. She was good for that much as long as she stuck around.

"That's a good dear." Left the proud Nahtil, her own words sickly sweet. The Tahtll before her seemed to choose his words very carefully, how fortunate for him.
Her hidden brow rose as the Tahtll claimed he hadn't seen her about the capital before. Oh? Did he think himself so important and skilled to know every b'alam that abide in the colony. Well, that after all wasn't her business though, was it?
"Well, my lord. It's our kind marked by our silence and lack of known presence?" The Nahtil asked with a smile letting her stance relax, just a little. Her poise and elegance remained, however. Never such a thing would be removed from her posture. No, deep down something in side her told her that she would rather be without breath, then without her dignity.
Her icy unimpressed gaze remained fixed on the Tahtil, before her. A slow breath was taken in as her mind easily worked at 'who' he might be to dare ask her what she was doing, as if it was any of his business. Nubbed white tail twitched.
"I am about nothing, but a midnight stroll Tah" The Nahtil informed the other freely, the sigh in her breath almost teased that her next word was only made out of obligation. Which, if fact it was....
