I just wanted to hear on everyones favorite book in the whole wide world. Mine is "The Dark Tower" 1-7. I recommend it because it takes old medieval sorcery, wild west culture and Fuituristic robot villians and mashs it into a rather tasty Book.
Basically this thread is on your favorite book and why do you like it, and whats it about.

I have a number of books I enjoy very much here they are in order from my favorite to the honorable mentions:
1) ANYTHING by J.R.R. Tolkein ((Except Sir Henry and The Dragon, not sure why I just don't like it))
2) Romance of The Three Kingdoms ((Or for you video game players: Dynasty Warriors but the real story))
3) De Vinci Code ((I love mysterys)) "So dark the con of man." I LOVE THAT LINE!
4) Harry Potter

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk is a good one. The book is a lot better than the movie. Now I'm reading Survivor by the same other, though this one is a little strange. Fear and Loathing was a good one as well.

I like anything that fits in the South U.S.A in the early 1900's genre. To Kill A Mockingbird, Red Badge of Courage, and the Outsiders. I also like Harry Potter, I've read all the books.... Thief lord is ok, but not that mature... I just like the idea of it sweatdrop

Memoirs of a Geisha looked really romantic and sad when I saw the commercials. I never got around to seeing all the romatic movies, I kept getting comedy and action movies. sweatdrop I pity myself.

I thought it would be a romance novel too, and I was never big on Romances... But it really isn't, its got its romantic moments...but that happens in like...the last two chapters... And the main character is so funny. Not as in laugh at her or that she purposefully makes jokes, its just some of the experiences she has and the way the author explains them is just fantastic. It's worth it if you get the chance to read it. Their both very different than each other and yet their both really amazing. I have a new found obession with Geisha o.o...

I like
1. The Daughters Of The Moon Series By Lynne Ewing 2. Carrie 3. Frankenstein 4. Diary Of Anne Frank 5. Dracula
On a side note, my least favorite books are- 1. The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter- Carson McCullers...I CANT GET THROUGH IT! IT'S PHYSICALLY PAINFUL! 2. The Prophecy Of The Stones- I don't know why I can't get through it, it was written by a 13-year-old girl in france so it may have been a bad translation
And the most contreversial of them all... 3. To Kill A MockingBird
