What's to say about hens? They're female poultry, typically, and Aisling in particular comes from a very fluffy chicken.
Symbolically they're known for being aggressively mothering, perhaps because they're also known for giving birth daily (as
the Egyptians once noted). Perhaps it's a little embarrassing, but that does make them perfect emblems of Easter's
springtime ideals. In most bird species, hens tend to be a little duller than their male counterparts, but they can attract
attention with the pleasant colors of the eggs they lay.
ＩＮＦＬＵＥＮＣＥＳ ➳
Yes, yes, you know already. Aisling's a doting, nosy aeterna, and that's largely because of her essence. She's very concerned
with the social well-being of the aeternus around her, and she loves nothing more than smothering them with her admittedly
good intent. Similarly, she's very self-assured - even despite her tendency to drift into flights of fancy, and definitely acts
as though she's the dominant hen. She's got to have things her way, and she's pretty insistent on this, even if she looks like
a sweet angel at first sight.

Soft but bright, egg dye can be made of a variety of materials. Aisling's dye used natural ingredients, which largely means a
medley of fruits and vegetables. It smells fresh and delicious! More importantly, though, it's beautiful.
ＩＮＦＬＵＥＮＣＥＳ ➳
The important thing about egg dye is not that it is colored - for plenty of things are - or that it tastes good - though that's
lovely too - but that it colors other things. It works well with Aisling's hen essence that way, only reinforcing her rather
controlling nature. It's also by nature used to decorate, and this is the root of Aisling's desire to embellish tales and dream
big. Everyone around her should look radiant, after all - right? She's excellent at ensuring that they do just that, even if
that means she sometimes has to tell, well, little white lies. That's okay, they become pretty and colorful!

listen to her. little lambs. artists with vision. ambition. things that are pretty for the sake of being pretty. stained glass.
ＤＩＳＬＩＫＥＳ ➳ violent deaths. loud music. complete silence. asymmetrical things. people who win arguments
against her, even if they're right.
ＰＥＲＳＯＮＡＬＩＴＹ ➳ On first thought she looks like a spectator. Look at those wide, guileless eyes, and the
pleasure that stretches silently across her face as she watches. And certainly she's an observer, but Aisling has never
been one for silence, or passivity (although she's very much a fan of relaxation). She is doting and caring - always
ensuring that those around her get what they need. What they need, of course, is that which she chooses for them. Well,
she doesn't tend to be wrong, anyway - she's very practical, and she's pretty good at caring for those in need. She's a bit
of a control freak and a perfectionist, of course, with an intense need to ensure that everything around her fits her
personal standards, but, well, who doesn't want standards? She's also quite fond of idle gossip - it's one of the activities
most likely to draw loud peals of laughter from her.
So she's maternal, right? you'll ask. That's not the right word for it, though. If she's any sort of mother she's a helicopter
parent, who hovers over your shoulder with high standards and passive-aggressive sob stories designed to guilt you into
doing what she wants. But don't get her wrong: she's not a nurturer, just a woman who's very comfortable being in charge.
She's territorial, with an exacting opinion of the standards to which her little section of the vocivus should be held. If it were
up to Aisling she'd always been the queen hen up in her roost. Of course, that's not her life. Instead she's sweet as sugar,
passive-aggressive when it calls for it (which is often) but generally pleasant as a dream.
Sometimes that makes her a little more mercurial than the situation will call for - it can take her a bit to really latch onto
people, as a result. Perhaps that's a good thing: once she has latched on, she's incredibly demanding of an Aeterna's attention,
and she's likely to both nag at them incessantly and make large demands on their time. Still, she'll dote on them, sharing
with them the wonder of her experiences with her newly-reaped souls.
ＲＥＡＰＩＮＧ ＰＲＥＦＥＲＥＮＣＥＳ ➳
Aisling isn't especially picky when it comes to souls, but she has two strong preferences. First, she likes young souls of any kind,
when it comes to reaping, because they tend to be easily moldable. (For a similar reason she's fond of non-sentient souls of any
kind, too. But she's noticed they're not as clever or as inventive as humans can be - it's a little disappointing.) Second, she loves
artists and creators of any kind. It doesn't matter how they died - humans who lived their lives outside of the box thrill her.
Besides, they can usually understand her need for things to be just right. Mostly this doesn't end up mattering too much,
though: while those are the sorts of people she likes, Aisling still has a particular fondness for creating stories, and sometimes
she'll reap souls who just look like they've got character. Don't worry, she'll tell them with a smile. Aisling will take care
of them.

To be honest the guy's a little boring. Oh - don't get her wrong! She loves that he's strong and focused. But he's not interested in
being colorful at all - and she thinks that's just wrong. She does appreciate his extremely high standards, though.

She's so cold and unfriendly, even though she seems so pretty! It's quite a pity, Aisling thinks - there's more to life than survival.
And more to the Vocivus, too! Maybe in the future she can convince Avalon of this, but for now she's at a loss.

He's a gruff, unfriendly fellow, but she's seen him cuddling, and isn't that just delightful? Aisling is certain that she herself can
unlock those hidden depths, too. She just needs a bit more time, but she's gonna pry his story out of him as well as she can.
ＢＬＩＴＺ ➳
What a darling! He gets himself into a bit more mischief than Aisling has time for, really, but at least he takes direction well. He's
certainly a future co-conspirator, by which she means she's certain she can get him to do things for her. He's gonna be a star!
ＣＨＡＲＩＴＹ ➳
Aggressively friendly, aggressively loving, aggressively lovely. Aisling is well aware, though, that there's only room for one top hen
in the Vocivus. That's gonna be her!
ＤＥＳＴＩＮ ➳
Happy, cute...moldable. Aisling can work with him! He certainly elicits sympathy well, and he knows how to listen.
ＤＩＯＲＡ ➳
Diora is certainly a pretty bird, but Aisling just can't quite get along with her. She thinks it's that Diora is just a little - well - silly!
It's absurd to not reap souls just because they're young. Everything dies in the end, and some things need to die early. The world
would be so colorless, otherwise.
ＤＯＲＩＡＮ ➳
This one is near as dumb as the children he loves to reap. That makes him useful, but she doesn't like to think of him in terms
as cold as that. How could he be a hero, anyway? Perhaps a side character. Whatever - he's sweet.
ＦＡＲＥＮ ➳
Ugh. Faren's a bit boring.
ＦＥＲＤＩＮＡＮＤ ➳
Oh, but what wouldn't Aisling give to never have to look into those eyes again? Now, she's a friendly girl, but he's just so...
haunting!

Hardworking, but withdrawn. To be honest, Aisling has only really seen him following in Apex's shadow. And someone who
listens to someone other than herself is just not interesting.
ＪＵＮＩＰＥＲ ➳
Pretty, but self-conscious: the perfect member of a flock. Aisling may have only spoken to her a few times but she's certainly
interested in getting to know her more.
ＭＡＴＶＥＩ ➳
Aloof but oh-so-pretty: he's the perfect lead for some great star-crossed romance. Sadly he seems to have plans of his own. He
certainly has a sharp mind that reminds Aisling of her own, though.
ＳＡＮＴＩＡＧＯ ➳
Friendly and open, Aisling can't help but suspect hidden depths. They probably aren't there - he wears his heart on his sleeve! -
but it's in her nature. Still, she loves exchanging tales with him!
ＳＡＮＵＹＥ ➳
A strange girl. She has a preference for souls who pass away in their sleep. But those aren't the only people who deserve rest,
Aisling argues - and certainly those who die fighting deserve it a little more. Still, Sanuye likes the common, boring ones. That
leaves plenty of intriguing souls for Aisling, and that's wonderful. Sanuye doesn't know what she's missing!
ＳＥＡＭＵＳ ➳
A grizzled protector sort. He's an excellent cuddler, though, and she has to admit that he's one of the few people she'd trust with
her secrets. Wait, um, what secrets?
ＳＵＭＭＥＲ ➳
Aisling loves to lay down next to Summer and admire the quickly-changing sky of the Vocivus. They're pretty good friends, even if
only because they're both big dreamers.
ＶＥＩＬＬ ➳
Oh, but Veill just aches for guidance in his sweet little life. And Aisling is more than happy to provide it.

There isn't a place in the Vocivus that isn't, well, strange. Wait, that's not fair: it's just that not many Aeturnus know how
things on Earth are supposed to work. They're alien, as fascinating as they tend to be. Aisling's home overlooks a grassy
meadow filled with lambs and chicks. It's a single room building made of charmingly-colored pastel stones: Aisling, after all,
has no need for kitchens or restrooms. The room itself contains a round, plush bed filled with downy feathers. It has a desk
filled with pretty eggshells and paints, and from the inside the walls look like solid drywall, painted cheerfully with patterned
pastels. A quaint window overlooks the lambs' pastures: it's round, with bars that rather resemble the markings that one
might find on a painted easter egg. It's a veritable fairytale home, complete with a pointless chimney (Aisling has never seen
a functional fireplace, in all her exploration of the Earth), and piles of pretty quilts. Sometimes Aisling hangs Vocivus-made
replications of paintings or sculptures she's seen on Earth on the walls, or just on the outside of the house. Needless to say,
she doesn't have a great understanding of the function of a home.
