Hyperborea had taken a seat on a bench in front of some clothing store. She was a bit tired from patrolling. She felt a eternal coming her way so she got to her feet and made her way toward the aura to meet them.

She was pleasantly surprised when she saw that the eternal was actually Chaonis, the senshi who'd saved her from Painite and offered to train her once she had recovered. She wondered if tonight would be a good night to cash in on that offer.

"Hé! L'ami! Remember me? We meet when I fought Painite." (well tried to at least) "I don't suppose that offer of training is still open" She asked politely.

Chaonis felt a basic level aura in the area ahead of him, but it was something White Moon tied, so he was not too worried about it. He approached without caution, and was actually rather glad to see the person that came into view on the bench.

"Well, hello there," he said with a cocky grin as she greeted him, nodding his head and coming to a stop near the bench. He folded his arms over his chest, tilting his head at her.

He was all too happy to help someone with training, though he often had some rough and tumble methods for it when they got started. But if this Page was game for that, then so was he.

"You sure you're up for training? I can be pretty rough. I am the senshi of Danger, you know?"

"Don't worry about me. I've been taking Judo since I was six so I'm sure I can handle a bit of rough training. Besides I need to get stronger so that I don't have a repeat of my first fight with a chaos agent." She said with a big smile eager to learn what the Senshi of danger had to teach her. She did a few stretches to warm herself up.

"Oh by the way I got a way to communicate with other knights." She said showing her signet ring to the Senshi as she finished warming up.

"Ok so what first, sensei!" She said in an upbeat manner.

"Judo, huh? Yeah, I'm sure that'll be useful in the real world."

He grinned at her, but he was clearly eager to help her out. He moved from his relaxed stance and unfolded his arms, taking a few steps closer to look her up and down. At least she had listened and got a way to talk to other knights. Then, if she needed help, she could at least make an emergency call or something.

It was a safety net, and everyone needed one of those. Even he had his, though he liked to pretend he did not need it. Of course, when things got tough, it was always a relief to know he could call on a friend to help him out.

That was something that gave him even more confidence, but of a different brand.

"Well, let's see. You must know the basics, since you're such a tough Karate Kid, right? So let's go find you an opponent." He was hoping to either find a Nega, or a youma that they could practice on.

She mad a faux offended face. "I am a judo kid thank you very much, Karate is something completely different; and it is in fact very useful." She returned his grin and she followed him to find an opponent.

After a bit of walking she felt the aura of a youma. As they got close enough to it Hyperborea could see it was a combination of a bird's legs and wings with a human's head and chest. The moonlight that gleamed off of it revealed that the feather were made of metal. Hyperborea said a silent apology to the once human creature and charged it before it had a chance to notice she was there.

She grabbed the creature by it's long hair and swept its feet out from under it slamming it into the concrete. When it was on the ground she delivered a punch to its face (since she figured punching it's metal body would only hurt her hand) eliciting a metallic screech of anger and pain. The monster fought back cuting Hyperborea's arms a bit with its metal talons. She moved away from it before it could do any serious damage. As the youma charged her she grabbed it by it's waist, which cut into her arms but Hyperborea bore the pain. And she threw the youma over her hip again smashing it into the ground this time stomping its neck with her sandals. Just a bit more and it'll be dusted, I'm sorry to cause this pain but I'll I can do for you is hopefully end your misery.

Chaonis shrugged his shoulders indifferently. It was all the same to him. He saw the new Karate Kid movie, where they were running around saying 'everything is Kung Fu' all the time. Where the line was drawn, he did not know.

Once they found the youma, he stayed back and folded his hands over his chest, tilting his head and watching her movements. She seemed good enough, though a little shaky and unsure. She needed more confidence in what she was doing, and more belief in her own strength.

But the moves she seemed to have, and the basics of fighting. That was good, because it saved him a lot of work. Really, it was practice and confidence that she needed.

"Well, look at you! You got some skill already. That thing doesn't have a chance. Maybe we should make it a little more fair." Chaonis charged forward and took a swing at her, while she was not really expecting him to interfere. He was not actually fighting for the youma, as that thing would end up as dust either way, but still.

It would definitely take advantage of getting a chance to fight back, regardless of who gave it to him.

"What!" Hyperborea turned her head right into Chaonis fist. It hurt alot. It sent her reeling back. But she thankfully didn't fall down. She wiped a bit of blood from her split lip. Ok. So I've got two opponents now. You can do this Hype he's probably not going to go full out since this is training so the fact that he's an eternal shouldn't make that big a difference. The youma had taken this opportunity to get back on its feet, it didn't seem to notice Chaonis (probably because he wasn't the one stepping on it's neck).

Hyperborea knew she couldn't give it a chance to attack, she couldn't take them both on at the same time so she had to stop one of them. "You know I never took you for a bird lover!" She said as she charged Chaonis. She ducked another swing and grabbed the tie thing he had and his arm and swept his legs out with her own throwing him over her hip. However she was reward for this with a scratch across her back by the youma. She let out a yelp of pain. She turned her back to Chaonis to try and deal with the angry metal bird.

Chaonis was a bit of a jerk. Which was a bit of an understatement. He delighted in pushing people to their limits, especially when he was trying to make them stronger.

This was just his kind of training. Find their limits and push them past it. That was the only way for them to learn, short of jumping into the deep end unprepared. At least this way he had control of the situation, and he knew what he was doing.

Sure, the youma was a rogue element, sort of, but he was strong enough to dust the thing if it became a big problem. That was the whole point: real danger, for her to have to deal with, to stress her out and get her scared. That was what real fighting was.

"You don't know me that well! I love weird metal birds!" He laughed, letting her come at him. There was no way he would be thrown by a Page if he did not allow it to happen, but he was watching the youma and saw its attack coming, as well. Once she was distracted by it again, he stepped back to watch her struggle with it.

The bird launched at her. Normally she would be able to counter a blunt charge like this with a throw but a shudden spasm of pain from the cuts on her back distracted her from the attacking Youma. The creature tackled her to the ground and dug its claws into her shoulder screeching at her. Hyperborea howled at the pain, it was like knives slowing being pushed against her skin. She knew she had to think quickly or she would win another trip to the hospital and she didn't think she could lie her way out of this.

What was it that Penthe taught me, SING that was it. Hypeborea delivered a quick jab to the Youma's solar plexus followed by an elbow that seem to break the creature's nose, given the amount of blood that poured forth when she hit it. She would have hit it in the groin but the metal made it pointless, plus she wasn't sure if birds had groins like people. This was enough to get the creature to get off of her so Hyperborea took the chance; she wrapped an arm around it's neck and both her legs around its wings and chest. The metal dug into Hyperborea's legs but she held on tight and put all the presser she could into choking the thing. After a minute or so of struggling the thing stopped and turned to dust.

Hyperborea got to her feet, now looking like she'd crawled through a rose bush and turned to Chaonis. "Looks like I have to buy you another weird metal bird, I've heard bronze parakeets are all the rage these days." She said jokingly as she fought to catch her breath, her normally well kept hair now disheveled and falling about her face. "So did you want to do a round 2."

"Eh, I've got plenty where that comes from. You did pretty good, for a newbie. All that training of yours works in your favor, eh, Karate Kid? You don't actually seem to need all that much actual training, as far as learning things go."

It seemed to him like she knew how to fight, so basically all she was really asking him to do was spar with her. Which was also fine by him, but a little less fun for his tastes. He could not go all out, after all, and that was generally how he liked to fight.

Except he rarely used his magic, even when he could fight his enemies. It was a little too unpredictable.

"You don't look like you could go a round with me yet, though. Take a break, and tell me what that fight was like for you. Did it feel easy? Difficult? Were you scared? Did you know what to do without thinking about it?" He wanted to see where she was, mentally, since he saw her moves but could not see inside her hair.

Hyperborea was glad for the break and sank to the ground next to Chaonis. Thankful that her wounds weren't to deep and weren't bleeding badly.

"Well I wouldn't call it easy especially after you joined in but since all I can really compare youma fights like that one to is my fight with Painite, I guess you could say it was easy in comparison." She gave him a joking grin.

"I wasn't really scare, well I was a bit scared of getting an injury bad enough that I would need to go to the hospital again I mean my mama bought my first lie but I doubt she'd buy a second. But as for being scared of dying or something not really, even if I thought that thing could kill me which I didn't I know you would have stepped in before things got too serious."

"My throws come pretty naturally to me this point the only real thinking I do in relation to throws is figuring out which one works best for the situation. I did have to think a bit when charging, I haven't had to rush an opponent in my judo sparing. I thought about avoiding getting hit and how to position the throw without breaking my flow of movement to much. I also had to think about how to get out of its hold at the end. I'm not used to striking, I learned that from the Penthe Senshi of War though I did change it up a bit from what she taught me to fit the situation. Oh and I did have to think a bit about my choke hold but that was mainly because of it's body, I had to will myself not to let go." She concluded.

Aurelius Ambrosius

"Definitely easier than Painite. But most youma are going to be easier than Negas. They're kinda dumb and since they turn to dust it's easy to know when the battle is over." He grinned. Negas had a habit of pushing back for a lot longer.

Youma hit their limit and burst into dust, the end.

"A little bit of a fear in a fight is a good thing. That's what gives you the motivation to keep your feet moving and your guard up. You lose the fear, and you lose your edge. Believe me, I know what it is to get too cocky in a fight. But there's a balance, right? Fear can help, but let it go too far, it'll do a lot more damage to you."

He tilted his head at her, letting her rest and just cooling down from the fight by talking to her. Not that he had to relax, since he did not do much, but still.

"Well, it sounds like you've got a good head for fighting, and you think things through without really noticing it. That's good. We'll definitely have to spar, then, just to keep your edges sharp. I think the best thing for you is just to get out there and really hunt those youma down. Bring someone with you, just in case, or have them on standby."

She nodded her head when he was talking about fear. That made sense, it was kind a like Judo. You have to balance being relaxed and being ready to battle, but instead he was saying she needed to balance having healthy fear in battle and being to afraid to fight.

"Thanks I'd enjoy sparring with you. It'd keep me ready for actual battles. Do you think we could do like a weekly meet up here to spar. Oh and don't worry if I sense a youma I'm gonna take it down, I can't just let them run wild and hurt civilians right." She said with a grin.

"Well I should probably get home and treat these wound, and come up with a good cover story for them. Au revoir!" She powered down "Remember same time next week, lets meet up here!" She said and waved good bye and started for home.
