Walking around an area he's know since he was small he finds something new. A Box, walking carefully closer he slows to a stop a foot away and starts to look thoroughly at the one side wondering how it came to rest in this dug out area that was filled with moss. Tilting his head this way then that he stretches his head out and starts sniffing at it. He'd never seen a Box before, though he felt the need to protect this one. Carefully walking around the colorful and very heart covered Box. Making sure he doesn't miss a single thing about it. Before long he moves it out of the dug out area and gets it onto his back. Turning around he heads home since leaving it here isn't a good idea. It needs to stay someplace warm and dry so by the time he gets home he places it in the middle of his bedding because he doesn't want to be rude. He can just wrap himself around it when ever he wants to go to bed like now since it's late and he didn't plan on going too far or staying up too late either. So walking around the Box a few times he finally settles down and drifts off to sleep.

Waking the next morning bright and early he takes the Box out with him to the field of flowers, finds a nice little spot flowerless path, then finds himself in the middle. Placing the Box gently down he starts talking about what each individual flower looks like, smells like, what its name is, and how many petals it has. As well as what color they are, how tall they are, how tall they can grow, and how often he tends to them. Not really sure if this is helpful, though he might as well because he has no clue what else he should be doing with it other then talking to it. Often calling it Heart because of all the hearts that cover it. So for the rest of this day he explains as much as he can while trying to keep it as simple as possible. Knowing full well that he has plenty of time to teach Heart anything he wants to. Meaning each and every day he can teach Heart something new during the morning hours, during the middle hours, and then during the few hours before bed. Though, being the first day he decided to take the time to only teach about the flowers, seeing as they are a seed and then they grow into what they are now. Making him wonder just what might be in the Box, the idea of opening it passing through his mind though it'd come out if it was ready so he leaves Heart alone in the sense of poking and fusing over it. Hours pass and before long he gently picks up Heart and carries it back into their home for the night. Gently placing Heart down he curls around it to make sure he doesn't accidentally lay down on it. Since in his eyes it's rather fragile and he'd rather it stayed in it's nice wholeness while watching over it. So thinking of ways to keep it safe he drifts off into a dream filled sleep.

Each and every day he had taught the Box at least three different topics if he didn't spend too much time on any one topic that is. Or the one topic had many other topics within in, though for some reason he felt that they wouldn't mind because he loved learning when he was small so he just knows that they will love learning as much as he does. So waking this morning, the seventh day that he had found Heart he hears something strange going on inside the Box. Pressing his ear to Heart he hears it again, and it only gets louder the more he listens. Before long the top starts opening so he quickly stares at the top and waits to see if it'll open completely. Slowly, though surly, the lid opens up to reveal a sweet little one covered with Hearts. Saying in a soft enough and sweet enough voice, "Hello there little one, I've been waiting a while to see you. And now that you have trusted me enough to come out I will promise to take care of you. When you are older if you wish to leave I will understand, though, if you stay I would love to have you around for company. I found out having someone to hang out with, talk with, and just be near is better than being by myself." Blushing lightly, "I'm Miller Pearl Promise by the way, thought you would like to know my name if you shall be living here with me." Patting the bedding with his right paw, "I hope the bedding is warm and soft enough for you, if not I can always gather more."

Blinking a few times she looks up at the very soft spoken Miller knowing he was the one that was talking to her just about the whole time she was in her Box. Smiling a bit back she wants to say something, though, she's still a bit too shy to talk just yet. Blushing a bit she goes to jump down when he picks her up and places her on the bedding. Feeling it with her little paws she looks up approvingly to him with a slight nod of her head. Before she can do anything he moves the Box out of her so she turns around to get a better look at her new home. It of course is a lot larger than her Box so she likes it just fine. She lets everything sink in for a while, all while trying to place everything with what he said about them. She remembers how he moved her Box so she looks from left to right which helps her to place the name with the item he talked about.

While she's looking around he grabs a near by leaf filled with berries and opens it up a bit before she starts turning around. Turning to face him she's still smiling until she almost whacks her head into a leaf he's holding out to her full of berries of all kinds. Startled so badly she leaps back and cries out. With a whimper he places the leaf down with a pout, he didn't realize he'd startle her so badly. Feeling bad about scaring her he places the leaf aside then lays down whimpering. He's never felt so bad in his entire life, though he really should have known better. She just came out of her Box and she wasn't expecting to have food just about shoved at her. Giving a few more whimpers and then he covers his head with his front paws as if trying to hid himself. He doesn't know what to do or say to her, so far she hasn't spoken to him so he takes that as a bad sign. And now he's scared her enough that she actually leapt back while crying out. He's never seen anyone so scared before, which makes him feel even worse then he was feeling before. That, and he keeps playing it over and over and over again in his mind which really isn't helping him.

Having recovered when he placed the leaf down she walks over and starts whimper while licking at his forehead wondering what's wrong with him. He seemed perfectly fine just a bit ago and then after he startled her something seemed to have happened. With a very soft voice she coos while lightly patting and then rubbing the spot she licked with her right paw, "Miller, are you going to be alright?" She blinks a few more times when he looks up at her startled himself since she called him by his name and is talking to him. Not being able to speak from such shock he nods his head a bit smiling while she keeps up the rubbing. So she smiles while slightly tilting her head in such a cute way, "That's good to know, I was worried when you started whimpering. Then, when you covered your head I thought you might be in some sort of pain and would need help of some kind." Moving her paw she turns and grabs the leaf with her mouth and pulls it closer to Miller. Getting it close enough she smiles, "I'm Lady Ruby Amethyst Heart and it was nice of you to offer me food. Though I think you could have done it in a less frightening way?" Her expression shows confusion because she's not very sure if he could have offered her anything in a less frightening way since he seemed a little too excited and a little too eager to make her feel comfortable.

Blushing while smiling brightly he coos, "It's lovely to meet you Ruby, and I'm sorry for the way I acted. I waited so long to see what would come out, so I thought you might be hungry and thirsty. Though, you have a very good point, I should have been a little less frightening when offering you food. At least when I offer you something to drink it'll be a lot less frightening, I promise you that." Moving his left arm he pulls her closer for a cuddle, "Thanks for worrying about me, it's nice to know you care. And I shall always worry and care about you as well." Looking at her a bit he smiles, "Well, no wonder your last name is Heart and no wonder there were so many Hearts on your Box. You are just covered with them, it makes me wonder if you are such a loving creature that you needed Hearts on the outside to show how much you love others on the inside." He wrinkles his nose in a cute way hoping he's getting off on a better paw after she calmed him down. Feeling a bit hungry himself he starts to eat some of the berries, and seeing him eating she starts eating as well.

After eating she smiles at him and continues to talk in that soft voice of hers, "It's lovely to meet you as well, and I plan on sticking around for a very long time, since you offered that is. And I am sure it'll be less frightening now that you knew that offering food to me like that was frightening you know better. I'm thinking that everyone must first make mistakes before they get it right. It's the way to learn something other then having someone else teach you." Patting the bedding a bit she remembers she didn't tell Miller about her soft she thinks it is, "Oh, your bedding is just perfect so you don't need to change anything about it." Nodding her head, "Yes, I guess that's why I have so many Hearts on me, that, and some of them came from my past life. If you believe those sorts of things that is." Walking around a bit she then lays down and starts to fall asleep not seeming to be a early morning creature. So she doesn't notice Miller getting up and leaving with the leaf to gather some water for her to drink.

Walking to the small stream he realizes that he forgot something so returns to the home and gets another leaf planing on sewing the two together with some small vines to make a sort of leaf basket. Which will be much easier to carry around after having filled it. Looking around in his found items he finds something horribly painful had stabbed into his paw. With a whimper he pulls his paw up with slightly teary eyes from finding the needle to sew with. Putting his lips to his paw he gently pulls the needle out then stabs it into the floor of his home. Licking his paw a few times he then gets some vines and places them onto the leaves and then gently picks the needle up and also places it on the leaves. Grabbing up both ends of the leaves he turns and starts to somewhat limp away with a whimper here or there. Reaching the small stream he sits down and starts working on the leaf basket which only takes an hour or so. Having overlapped the two leaves on the bottom to make it possible for the basket to stand up when it's filled with water. Dipping paw in the stream for a bit he wonders how he'll take both the basket and the needle back seeing as after he fills the basket with water he doesn't intend to place the needle into the basket as well. So taking the needle he stabs it into the ground to come back for it later, since what are the chances someone will wander around his flower field that he takes care of? Gently taking the basket in his mouth he slowly stands then somewhat limps while making his way back to tree still whimpering a bit.

When Miller returns she starts to stir because of his whimpering. Opening her eyes it takes a bit before she can see everything crystal clear. Looking up at him she notices he made something to carry the water in. While he lowers the basket down she notices his paw and a very small trail of blood in his paw print. Getting up she walks around the water basket causing some worry and curiosity to stir inside of him. Sitting down she lifts his paw up to check how baldy he hurt himself and where the blood is coming from. When she sees the small hole she walks turns to the water to sip just a bit up before turning back to his paw. A squirt of water causes him to whimper and whine a bit though she's un-bothered by his reaction. When the blood washes away she licks at his wound until he sits down and lifts his paw away from her to lick it himself. So she sticks her tongue out at him for a bit then gives a bit of a snort and walks around to try finding something to wrap his paw up with. Before long she comes across some sort of soft fabric which she takes over to Miller whom is still licking at his paw. Sitting down near him she looks up with the cutest sad look she can muster up. Not wishing her to start crying he moves his paw low enough for her to wrap it up. Then turning she walks closer to the basket and starts drinking for a while before turning back to him, "What did you hurt yourself on? Does your paw feel better now? And can you teach me how to make leaf baskets? They would be extremely useful for carrying berries, fruits, vegetables, and water as well. And if you can make baskets then you can also make other things with leaves as well?"

Having been caught off by her walking around the water, then licking his paw, and then sticking her tongue out at him. He didn't know what to think about the situation so he decided that he'd best stay quite till she spoke first. So when she started walking around their home he just didn't know what she was up to other then trying to help him with his hurting paw. So after she found something to bandage his paw up he understands that her sticking out her tongue to say in her own way that he really should have tended to that before getting water. With a smile and nod he goes to thank her though remembers that he's waiting for her to speak first. Carefully laying down with her under his neck he starts drinking a bit while she turns over to gently chew on his neck while he's drinking. It feels so strange and a bit ticklish that he tries not to laugh while he's still drinking. Afterwards he smiles at her, "Thank you for tending to my paw, I would have, though I was too concerned with getting you something to drink." Blushing brightly, "I hurt myself on a needle which I was looking for, guess I better clean this place up a bit more." Nodding his head smiling, "Yes, it feel much better, thank you so more for tending to and then wrapping it up for me." Pondering the idea he replies, "I'll teach you when you are a bit older so I don't worry about you hurting yourself on the needle. Though, I will teach you how to by showing you what I did, that way by the time I think you are old enough you will know how to make them already."
