In the back of the house in a room just a bit larger than a closet was a mirror. It had a very ornate silver frame. The glass itself looked ancient with a thick coat of dust. The room itself had peeling wall paper, and dusty lamps that hardly lit the place. No wires at all were visible, mater of fact, the harder you looked not even a plug could be found. The only thing that shinned was the door handle. Touched often, but still this made it seemed out of place.
Rhine didn't go into this room often, as normally his mother set up all transports in and out. However, today was a special day. He had special feelings towards Jasmine, and she was a really great friend. He wanted to be there by himself when she arrived so his mother did not say or do anything stupid to embarrass him.
Rhine stood in front of the mirror and chanted in mellow tones. "Me of Mirror, Mirror of Me... I wish to bring Jasmine here."
He'd never himself tried to bring another through, but followed the words through to the letter that Ceres had told him.
There he waited, with a giddy grin on his face.

When Jasmine had recieved some beautiful flowers, she'd been so excited that it wasn't any mystery that she'd gotten the gift. Her laughter quieted when her mother found out, of course, for after hearing about what happened at the agency Ecavi had been mildly panicked. One thing was certain, though- Jasmine would be wearing clothes, lots of clothes, at all times when outside of the house. Especially around Rhine. The dragon, never a fan of many layers of clothing, only agreed to make Ecavi stop annoying her about it.
Sadly, the annoying didn't stop- the fairy insisted that she go with Jasmine after the mirror and flowers arrived. Mitsy, Fallen and Briar had been put incharge of those remaining at home while Ecavi and Jasmine waited for the time to go.
Neither knew what to expect when they touched the mirror, but through it they fell- and both seemed to instinctively try to flap their wings to regain their balance once they start to fall, but both failed. Fortunately, they are met with a soft landing.
"Whoa," Min says, holding her side once she lands, looking around the area she'd appeared in in amazement. She's dressed in long pants and a shirt with a fairly high collar, rather than her usual short pants, shorts or shirts of various wide neck lines. She smiles, clearly having enjoyed the trip through the mirror.
Ecavi stays quiet when she lands, not having been invited herself she knows she is imposing on whatever the plans were at the moment. Of course, she feels no regret coming along- even if she doesn't follow them around, knowing that she's right there might force Jasmine to behave.

Jasmine glances from Rhine to her mother and back again, looking apologetic. If it'd been up to her, her mother would have stayed home- but she isn't too surprised she'd wanted to come and actually followed through with it. She smiles brightly at Rhine, bending a bit and giving him a quick hug as a greeting.
"It was neat," she comments on the trip, "Like falling, but not."
She stands back upright and brushes off a bit, giving her sleeve a sour look for exsisting- and is caught off guard by the compliment. Min looks up with a smile.
"Thank you," she says, none-too-sincerely, "It's awful dressing like this, but y'know.." A nod towards Ecavi. The fairy hasn't moved much, her arms are now crossed and her expression is one of hidden curiousity/caution. She's making an assessment for herself whether or not she believes that nothing happened and if she should be worried about something happening now.
"Sorry about that," Ecavi speaks up politely when Rhine comments on the extra person, "I just wanted to come along.." Her words are vague and airy, but both dragons can easily understand her reasoning without any explanation. Jasmine just nods when whispered to about explaining.
They both follow Rhine down the hallway, which Jasmine looks around in with much more obvious curiousity than her mother.
"Hi," Min greets Ceres brightly, waving a hand slightly.
"Hello," Ecavi says, laughing quietly and nervously. She reminds herself she had to come, in an attempt to reassure herself that it's ok that she came uninvited. Her resolve is strengthened when Ceres says they need to talk, to which she nods and glances sidelong at Jasmine.
"Alright," she says, looking back from the dragon-girl. Min rolls her eyes at the look from her mother, then looks at Rhine and nods- escape, one of her many hobbies and talents, sounds like fun (and a relief).

All things needed or wanted were quickly packed, with a smile Ceres lifted them into her arms. "It is a brisk walk, and to lovely a day for a carriage. Tinker is around back with Cassara, a gardening lesson. However, I am sure it is more like eating them..." Ceres giggled.
Ceres led them out the door, but paused. "Rhine where are we heading to?"
Rhine thought for a moment. He couldn't tell them exactly so gave instead a close placement. "The lake."
Ceres nodded with a smile. "You'll love it Ecavi, and Jasmine."
Rhine nuzzled Jasmine.
A fifteen minute walk later they were at the lake, and Ceres had set the pic-nic up.
Rhine settled next to Jasmine, and smiled. He didn't understand that Ecavi was there on watch, he thought she was on tour.
Ceres gave a glance at the two, and then to Ecavi. "We can enjoy lunch, and then let them out for a stroll while we have a talk. There isn't much they can get into." Ceres smiled.
Rhine smirked.

Not without offering to help, Ecavi smiles and nods to Ceres at the mention of the walk, and the names Tinker and Cassara, even though she isn't positive who these people are. She laughs at the mention of eating, deciding at least one of them is young.
"What all is there here?" Ecavi asks when Rhine pauses before saying they're going to the lake, wondering how many options there could be. Falling through a mirror takes you.. here, what all is here?
"Oooh," Min coos under her breath at Rhine, though she's sure they won't stay at the lake it sounds like a nice place to start. She walks along beside Rhine the whole way, while Ecavi decides to walk along with Ceres.
Jasmine sits down next to Rhine, grinning and turning to Rhine, "What are we having?"
"Alright, good," Ecavi nods, approving of the plan and the comment.

Ceres smiled softly. "This Island is a world in itself, and has much to offer." She looked in the bottom of the basket, and pulled out a map.
"We are about in the middle of the island, here at the lake." Ceres pointed it out.
Rhine pointed at the mountains with a grin. "The basket offers many things." Rhine chuckles, and pulls forward a plate of Sushi. "You like?" Rhine paused.
Ceres smiled. "We also have turkey, and ham sandwiches. As well as egg salad, and other things. Help yourself."
Rhine didn't take long to finish, and was antsy. "Jasmine are you ready?" He nuzzled her, and started to purr.

"Oh?" Ecavi asks, smiling and listening when Ceres explains. She leans over and takes a look at the map, a little surprised by the vast area covered by it.
"What's beyond the edges of the map?" she asks curiously.
Jasmine, who'd been watching Ecavi question the world, shakes her head a bit- but then she giggles when Rhine comments. Her attention is focussed once more when he pulls fourth from sushi, which she eyes curiously.
"Hm," she says, and without hesitation she reaches out and takes some to try. Ecavi watches Jasmine when she tastes it, and makes a funny face, smiling and grabbing a sandwich for herself.
"It's odd," Jasmine comments, slowly recovering from the surprising taste, "Not bad, I guess." She nods, but instead goes for a sandwich next. She takes a little more time than Rhine does, but sets down what's left of her food when Rhine asks if she's ready to go. She nods eagerly, brushes herself off and pushes back a bit to stand up~

"We'll stay close." Rhine paused. "I..." Rhine sighed and shook his head. His mother knew better by now than for him to give some fake lie.
Ceres just smiled, and a gave a nod of her head. "Just not to far. Enjoy yourselves." She waved to them.

Rhine slithered off towards the waters edge, but away from their site. "What I want to show you is in the center of the lake, on a small island." Rhine smiled.
"Wait here." Rhine turned, and went to a near by bush and pulled out a raft. He brought it to Jasmine, and then nudged it into the water. "My sisters and me made it for you. With your wings, I didn't think you a swimmer." Rhine blushed.
Rhine slithered into the water, and grabbed onto a pull rope with his mouth. "Hop on!" He muttered.

"Water, nothing but water." Ceres paused a moment. The desert part of the map hasn't really been explored. And there is an under water city." Ceres smiled.
"The only way onto the island is through mirrors, or some strong ancient magic." Ceres leaned back onto her arms. "My mothers will, and my own is the source of stability. I cannot leave for more than a couple hours. My children have enough will to control a few things, but nothing over powering." Ceres winked.
"Rhine sure does fancy Jasmine." Ceres went flush.

Jasmine gets to her feet and grins at her mother, who can't do anything to stop them from leaving now. She gives a quiet wave and then turns to let Rhine lead the way to wherever it is that he may chose to lead her!

"On an island?" she giggles, watching Rhine, "An island on an island.." Jasmine nods when told to wait and rocks back and fourth on her feet while she waits, wondering what it is he wants to show her.
Atleast now she knows it's not just a random walk.
Not that that would have been bad.
"A raft!" She gasps when Rhine pulls it out, grinning, "Nah, never been swimming actually. It was thoughtful of you." With a small laugh, she steps onto the raft.

"Wow," Ecavi comments, looking back at the map instead of worrying about the kids, "This must be an interesting place to live." She looks from the map to Ceres as she explains how the Island works, smiling a little at the last comment.
"Aheh," she rubs her head when Ceres finally comments on Rhine and Jasmine, but nods, "Looks like it. I think she fancies him, too, the way she's been acting."

Rhine pulled her slowly across, till they hit land. He swam around back of the raft, and nosed it till it was beached, then he himself slithered and rolled in the dirt. He shook off, and streatched.
"Just a tad bit further." Rhine smiled.
"If you are too hot, and have enough layers you can take a few off till we get back." Rhine had finally put his finger on it why Ecavi had come.
This island wasn't that large, mater of fact, very tiney. A tree stood in the middle. "This tree is a decoy." Rhine laughed. "To make people think it is my GraMa." Rhine paused. "You'll have to meet her, but we'll save that for antoher day."
He led her behind the tree, and into a patch of flowers. "Jasmine..." It was simple in statement. He was talking about the flowers and not calling her name. "Jasmine flowers" He stated again. "I planted them shortly after we first meet at the agency."
Rhine started to purr.

Ceres gave a grin. "So that is the reason for all the clothing. I had to explain a couple things to Rhine the other day, after he spilled a few beans..."
Ceres paused. "He normally doesn't talk much to me. However, when he does her name comes up a lot."

When they hit land, Jasmine steps off of the raft carefully to make sure it isn't harder than it needs to be to get the raft ashore. She laughs when he shakes off, getting water on her from standing so close by.
"Alright," she grins, one step ahead of him with pulling off the sweater. Underneath is a normal seeming tshirt, which she atleast finds quite a bit more comfortable (and had thought ahead enough to put on).
"It's a lovely tree," she comments when shown to the tree, not quite sure what he means by the decoy/GraMa comment but not questioning it yet. Instead, with a smile on her face, she follows after him.
She gasps when she sees the flowers, glancing at Rhine when he says 'jasmine' before she realizes that he's talking about the flowers. Smiling wider, she holds out her wrist, which has the bracelet he gave her on it, as if to verify the identity of the flowers.
"They're beautiful," Jasmine says quietly, kneeling down and gently reaching out to one flower. With her fingertips barely brushing the petals, she looks over at Rhine, "That long, eh?"

"Partially," Ecavi replies, nodding, "I'm happier with her dressed like that after she came home wearing just a trench coat.." she trails off as Ceres mentions explaining things, biting her lip.
"I think I need to have another talk with Jasmine," she comments, "She doesn't normally have a problem talking to me, but she isn't as open with this subject and has a tendancy to sneak out." Her head shakes.

"The flowers in the vase come from this patch of Jasmine. I grew them from seeds, much like our friendship." Rhine paused. "Much like the seeds have blossomed, so have we..."
Rhine stood up on his haunches every part of him ached. He wanted so much to take the shape. He took a couple steps forward, and leaned onto Jasmine. Unnoticed by him he did have some form of human legs and arms, however, the rest was completely dragon.
His tail swayed nervously. The last attempt at professing love resulted in her being unsure. He took a deep breath looking into her eyes. "Jasmine, I want." Rhine paused for several minutes.
He had to ask, his insides started to churn. Again the inner mind was at war with his heart.
She'll love you not in this form...
Show her you mean it...
You must...
As if must was a trigger point his middle half slowly firmed up, revealing muscles, and a form more capable of managing a human body. However, his head was still dragon...
Rhine snorted still unsure of the changes happening. He was focusing more of Jasmine. Again, he tried. "I want you to..."
Rhine closed his eyes, his head ached. He was almost sick. His brain didn't know exactly how to control a human body with a dragons head. Rhine snorted.
My insides are churning...
She'll think I'm crazy...
Profess...
You must...
Again as if must was a trigger point his face took a human shape. His snout went inwards, and then revealed a more human nose. A thick, bush like set of hair grew. His horn and tail remained. His skin was his normal dragon tones.
He blinked a few times. He felt different. He knew what he had to do. He leaned forward. He was shaky, and using her for a lot of the support he needed. He reached his hand behind her head. He was breathing hard.
"I want you to be my girl..." As the word girl escaped his lips at last, he let his lips meet hers. He lingered a moment, but dared nothing further.

Ceres stood up. "Again..." She sighed, and crossed her arms. "He'd better not be fighting monsters and showing off."
Ceres waved a hand at Ecavi. "They have been gone longer than I expected a walk to be."
Ceres led them off into the direction they had gone. Ceres paused looking down. She could see the drag marks of something, and that it led into the water.
"They must be on the island... No doubt for a bit a privacy." Ceres crossed her arms, and in a matter of seconds a raft appeared.
"Let us go and investigate!" There was a hint of anger in her voice.
( after thought... we'll pretend she stood up agian after kneeling. that way certain body parts don't get in peoples eyes... :smacks self: )

Jasmine beams up at him, then looks back at the flowers again, "Of course, that makes them even more special." Her cheeks turn slightly red when he comments next, liking the idea that the flowers were grown because of her in the first place, and liking how he was speaking. Running her golden fingers over the flowers again, she doesn't notice that Rhine is in any pain right away.
"Hm?" She looks up, the deep breath catching her attention easily. At once it's visible that he is uncomfortable and anxious, and she returns the anxious look while he takes his time and pauses. She stands up, watching him quietly so that he can have some time to try to speak (not something she does for very many people). Her eyes widen a bit as she watches him, as it slowly becomes more evident that he isn't staying in quite the same shape.
"Rhine," she murmurs, not loud enough to interrupt him. She'd been asleep when she'd changed, and it had scared her terribly- he was wide awake, though a little naseous looking, and she doesn't want to imagine what it's like just changing for the first time. She holds onto one of his more human-like hands, allowing herself to support him as needed- and smiles shortly after he assumes his human form.
Of course, then she can think more about what he says. It doesn't take much to figure out what he's going to say, and already holding onto him when he suddenly leans in, she just does what is natural, and feels best. She leans in, eyes closed, meeting his lips half way there.
Leaning back a bit once more, she opens her eyes and beams at him. She keeps a hold on his hand, and stays close to him. Silent and smiling.

"Monsters?" Ecavi straightens at the mention of fighting monsters to show off. Whatever happened to just bragging to show off? Surely that was safer than fighting something.. but then she nods, glad she isn't the only one a little concerned that they're off on a long walk. The fairy follows after Ceres, eyeing the water as if she can guess that they've gone over it.
She covers her eyes and sighs when they discover the drag marks, wondering what could possibly be going on now- and when she uncovers her eyes there's suddenly a raft infront of them. Ecavi looks from it to Ceres and back again, but nods.
"Right."

Rhine nuzzles her excited at the connection just made. Some where inside his stomach stopped churning, and this new body started to purr.
Rhine looks down to where Jasmine is holding his hand, it was a differnt feeling. To his surprise it isn't dragon... "I... changed?." He stuttered out.
Rhine again ran a hand through her hair, and again realized it too had changed.
Rhine wasn't sure if it was just the hands or the entire body. But if it wasn't an entire body, then how would he have kissed her. He must have changed entirely; however, he was waiting for some sort of confirmation.
Rhine returned his eyes to Jasmine. "I Love You Jasmine." This time he was bolder, and more confident.

The raft carried them quickly to the other side.
"There isn't much to this patch of Island." Ceres looked to Ecavi.
Ceres didn't see them in front of the tree, so she went around back of the tree. Ceres paused, and gasped at what she saw. However, it wasn't loud enough to attract attention from either Jasmine or Rhine.
