Luca had wanted to visit Keren in the hospital right after the incident occurred, but unfortunately life had gotten in the way. Life and being unsure as to whether Keren would be allowed visitors so soon. Also maybe some nerves about the whole situation. She had been deeply unsettled, after all; unsettled enough to sit in a park with her songstone playing while petting a puffski to maximize self-comfort and distraction. But now she was feeling a bit better, and she was ready to face her loverfriend and try to make everything as all right as she could. She made it through hospital security without a problem (probably because, despite the temptation, she had not attempted to smuggle a puffski in to show Keren), and when she made it to Keren's room, she knocked on the door before inviting herself in. "Hey, Keren," she said as she pulled up a chair near the hospital bed. "How have you been? I hope they've been taking good care of you here." Because if they weren't, she would have stern words for whoever was in charge. "Oh, yeah, Jeanne should be coming too. I called her and asked her to come with, so it'll be all three of us together." There was a certain dreamy quality to the way she said that last part; she relished any time she could get the trio together.

Keren looked up from her DS as Luca entered, lifting her hand from her game of Majora's Mask long enough to wave. Being in the hospital was boring. She'd sent a bunch of notes around in a fit of morphine-fueled enthusiasm and, in the morning, realized that inviting guests was going to do her a fat lot of good since she wasn't, strictly speaking, supposed to talk. As Luca pulled up a chair, she decided to save and turn off the game, finding a place for it on the bedside table between her phone, a jug of water, and two empty cups of jell-o. She picked up a whiteboard and marker and scrawled: YAY! She held the board up for a moment, then wiped it off with the palm of her hand and wrote: Sorry. Not supposed to talk. She sounded like the crypt keeper, anyway, so it was probably for the better. Being strangled really did nothing good for a body, and having your throat cut did even less good.

Jeanne had gotten Keren’s letter, and after Luca’s call was on her way to the hospital as quickly as she could get there. Ever since she had sorted things out with her mother, it was so much easier to do this sort of thing; no need for lying or subterfuge, not anymore. It was a relief, really. And it meant that when she arrived, it was with a small box of homemade beignets.
She stepped into Keren’s hospital room. “There somewhere I can put these? They’re from my mama, she says ‘get better quick.’ Told her I didn’t know if you could eat ’em yet, but she insisted.” There was no way to win an argument on that. She gave Luca a warm, affectionate smile – it was good to be with both of them, even if Keren was in a hospital bed.
She carefully sat on the edge of it, glad for once that she was on the smaller side, and reached her hands out to both of the other two girls.

Luca chuckled at Keren's written enthusiasm, but her amusement faded when Keren wrote the next part. "Oh, right... I guess that wouldn't be fully patched up, would it." Before she could say more, Jeanne entered, and she brightened up all over again. "I'm glad you could make it," she said. When Jeanne reached out, Luca promptly took her hand and reached out to Keren to make a hand-holding triangle. She gave the hands a squeeze and leaned in a bit for a somewhat awkwardly-positioned half-cuddle. "It's so nice that we can all be together... I mean, I wish it were under better circumstances, but it's still been a while, hasn't it?" Unless something had slipped Luca's mind, the last time the three had been together had been for their first date, and, well... she had some very private thoughts about that. Good thoughts, but private ones nonetheless.

Keren gestured with both arms as Jeanne arrived, a heeeeeeyyyyy party's here sort of gesture, and then quickly wiped and scribbled on her board again - Somewhere over there. Can't eat anything rly. :C She held it up and pointed to a table by the window, currently hosting a bouquet. She took Luca's offered hand, but only for a moment - having to write out all of her thoughts left very few fingers free for being sentimental. She wiped the board clean again and considered her next words carefully. Under normal circumstances, Keren would have been talking a mile a minute, but right now her mouth just couldn't keep up with her mind. It is soooooooo good to see you both, she scrawled, held the board up long enough to be read, and wiped it again. I'm gonna ******** kill Camlann, she wrote, and laid the board flat across her lap.

Jeanne nodded and set the box of beignets on the table that Keren gestured to. "They'll keep for as while," she said, and then she went back over to the bed.
Part of her was quaking mad, because how ******** dare someone hurt her girl. But she was trying to shove that down, lest she angrily pace the hospital room and swear a lot and generally behave unhelpfully. No matter how much better that would make her feel, it wouldn't help Keren.
"What's Camlann look like? I'd like t'punch his face in, if I ever see him." That was the least of what she wanted to do, but she supposed she could leave the actual murder to the one who was actually wronged.

Luca nodded in agreement. "Yes... count me in too. I know I swore that I'd never fight another member of Order, but I can't just sit by and let him go around. There are consequences for hurting someone's precious people." It was a tough and troublesome call, really. As much as she wanted to keep her vows, her emotions were fighting hard with her mind. She wanted to find this Camlann and at least give him a good shaking, even if she couldn't quite maim him as she liked. And if Jeanne was there to help her punch him senseless, that would be even better.

Keren scrubbed the board with her wrist again, satisfied that they were finally asking the important questions. She hadn't called them here exclusively to play grabass and be told how great she was - she'd also called them here so she could play Godfather.
Short. Red hair. Saturn knight. she wrote, and then added, for good measure, KILL HIM.
