Going to an oasis to soak in the cool water was probably one of the most relaxing things that one could do while they were in Eowyn. The place was blisteringly hot during the day, and far cooler at night, making it a difficult place to stay for long periods of time. A member of the Ysali clan could get dried out pretty quickly, it was why Junjie was so eager to get to the oasis now, while the sun was setting. It was cooling off, so that the heat was something he could deal with, and the water was calling to him, drawing him away from the rest of the group, wanting nothing more then to sink into the water. He was just approaching when he felt a little prickle go up the back of his neck, making him feel as though someone was watching him. The half Dovaa gave pause, looking around for a moment, then gave a sigh, starting forward again.
"Are you alright, Jun? Should we come and join you?" Arjan instantly demanded through their link, able to sense Junjie's momentary worry. The Kiandri was instantly on guard something that almost had Junjie chuckling, finding his worry to be a little cute. The moment that he thought that he could feel Arjan prickle in response, which drew a real laugh from Junjie.
"Relax, Arjan. If he needs us I am sure that he will call. Even he needs a bit of time on his own to stretch his wings." Abellio said, breaking into the conversation. He too had felt the shiver of worry that had come from Junjie but felt that, unless it became something more then a shiver, that they should allow him to bathe without them hovering. Everyone wanted a bit of time on their own, especially for something like bathing. Besides, they needed to help look over everyone who was sleeping at the moment, Keona and Meir especially. They would look after the little ones while Junjie was away.
Junjie smiled, "Thank you both, I am sure it's just some sort of desert beast that I felt watching me. I am sure it's likely to run off though and if it's not I will tangle it up with my magic, alright?" He paused in front of the oasis, looking it over before he set to stripping down, folding up his clothing, and laid it down just beyond where the water could reach. Once that was done he headed into the water, giving a happy sound as he sank into it up to his chin. It was a refreshing feeling that flowed over the Ysali, causing his eyes to sink close, and he soaked up the nice sensation... at least until he felt those eyes on him again. This time whatever it was felt closer, not to mention more angry.
Junjie's eyes opened slowly, looking around the oasis, then forward across it, and he went completely stock still as he saw not one, not two, but three dragons that were standing there across from him. He starred for a moment, a bit startled, before he set to gathering up his magic to himself before he murmured, "Arjan, Abellio, there are a trio of Gaili here." Something that made the pair of Khehora react by being first startled, then angry... or at least Arjan was angry, already yelling at both Junjie and Abellio about the stupidity of letting him head out on his own.
The half blood gave a little roll of his eyes before he set to gathering more more and more magic to him, resting his hands on the ground under the water, summoning forth the roots of the various trees that grew around the oasis. If nothing else at least getting attacked here was something that was actually helpful in a way. He'd be able to use these trees to protect himself from these three dragons by entangling them. Once that was done he'd be able to summon forth some attack spells to wipe the dragons out with.
It was just as one of the three dragons started toward Junjie that the roots erupted from the ground, lashing themselves around the big Gaili, wrapping around it's body, and dragged it down to the ground. Pushing himself to his feet Junjie started to back up, making a few more motions with his hands, allowing the roots of the trees to tangle up the other dragons as well. It was a lot more difficult to focus his magic without his staff, a weakness of his own he realized, one he'd have to try to over come... though he'd worry about that later. For the moment he had better things to worry about, like the hungry dragons that he'd tangled up. Gathering more power into himself, this time of the golden variety, he focused it and let it come bursting forth, blinding the three dragons.
Taking a couple steps back he drew in a deep breath, held it to steady himself, then set to gathering power for his next spell. The next one would be an attack spell now that the dragons were tangled up and blinded. Using those spells in conjunction with each other was a good way to make dragons more vulnerable, but it also took a bit out of him if he didn't have his magical staff to be his conduit. He was going to have to catch his breath once he'd dealt with these dragons he thought to himself as he sent a blast of magic forward toward the trio of dragons.
The spell was able to take out two of the dragons but the third was able to break free of it's bindings, launching itself into the air, which meant that the battle would continue.

Junjie took a couple steps back, working on gathering more power to his hands, as the dragon set to circling around him. It was a bit difficult to follow it with the sun setting in the manner that it was. It was too bright in one direction and much darker in the other, something that made it so that he had to lift one arm to shield his eyes as he prepared his spell. Once he had enough power gathered he moved to throw it at the Gaili... only to get thrown off kilter when the creature sent the ground to shaking under his feet. Junjie was sent stumbling before falling over in the water, something that helped to cushion his fall.
Just as he surfaced he saw the dragon diving down toward him... but it never made it to him, instead it was pummeled by the combined spell power of Arjan and Abellio, something that knocked the Gaili off course forcing it to land. As it did so Junjie pushed to his feet once more, dragging forth more vines from the ground, tangling the creature up once more.
"Alright, we need to all attack at once." Junjie said as he gathered more power, sending it flying at the dragon just as Abellio and Arjan did the same, all three spell striking at once, defeating the third and final dragon just as the others had been dealt with. Grumbling all the while the soggy Ysali set about gathering up the three Gaili orbs, "I just wanted a relaxing bath, is that so much to ask for?" He asked of his Khehora as he went.
Abellio landed at the edge of the water, watching Junjie, before he said, "Go ahead and soak, Junjie, we will keep an eye out for any further danger." He offered, something that Arjan grudgingly agreed with even though he'd rather have complained about the whole situation.
