Arioso Canto gave a pleased flick of his tail as he leapt a fallen tree, forelegs curled neatly to his chest as he sailed over. With the morning given over to lessons and lunch with his family behind him, he felt like he deserved a good run and a bit of a wander. And if his father had been distracted long enough for Arioso to slip away, the sunset colt had been all to happy to take advantage of the opportunity. And so he threw himself into the welcoming shadow of the woods, ducking and leaping with all the joy in him.
"What to do today?" He wondered with a pleased nicker as he cantered onward through the woods, winding his way along still familiar paths. He wasn't too far out of his usual wandering zone, and there were easily a half-dozen safe, parental-approved-things he could do for fun. But then, he could also go wandering outside of his usual grounds... And see what fun was to be had.
"Hmmm." Arioso murmured, sliding to a halt as he came to a fork in the path. The symbolism was not lost to him, and he glanced down the left path long enough to grin before throwing himself enthusiastically down the right. "Let's see what new adventures we can find."
