Lydia was not really a super big fan of practicing against dummies on the training field. She was only slightly more of a fan of sparring against other, living people for practice instead, and that was because at least then she got to study her opponent and learn something about them. And yet there she was, traipsing around a dummy, whipping it with her cat o'nine tails, doing a haphazard job of it at best as only perhaps half of her swings actually ended with barbed tails connecting. After about ten minutes or so of this, she huffed out a sigh, blowing blue bangs out of her eyes, before turning on her heel (and nearly falling over because graceful, she was not.), and having a look around as she chewed on her bottom lip. "Oh hey, excuse me!" She called out to one gentlemen in particular. "Would you mind letting me try to hit you with this?" She waved the whip around in the air like a streamer.

Lydia looked over her left shoulder. She looked over her right. She looked back at the man, feeling confused, flustered, and yet somehow ridiculously pleased, as she saw no women (or men) standing behind her that this one might be speaking to. She grinned in return, her face flushing. "Oh, it's Lydia! Very nice to meet you!" She practically yelled, which probably wasn't necessary as he wasn't very far away.

Oh no. She was cute. This was going to be so. ********. Fun. The young man chuckled, hopping from foot to foot to get himself going. "Very nice to meet you too. I love your hair. Do you dye it yourself?" Making small talk didn't make it easier to hit her, but it made him feel better in general. He lunged forward, slashing across her whipping arm with his blades. He was both excited and a little bit afraid to feel that whip of hers. HP: 40 Damage: 5

Oh goodness! He liked her hair! Her face flushed just a little brighter (somehow that was possible). "Why, yes! Yes I do!" Still a bit louder than strictly necessary, and she gave her head a dank shake as if that might help her smarten up a bit. His smile was distracting! That was all it was! What likely helped being her back to reality were the sharp blades he wielded, as he brought those down on her arm before she could dodge back. She let out a startled yelp, falling back slightly as that arm dropped and she quickly exchanged her whip to her left hand instead. "That's a very interesting weapon!" She commented, while raising her own, and throwing the tails back before lashing them forward straight at his chest, not really expecting to actually hit, though. HP: 35 Damage: 7

"You've got a knack for it~. Suits you." He winked, always flirting with any girl he came across. Dylon let out a startled yelp of pain. "Yikes! It has multiple thingies!" Dylon laughed off his surprise. Should he be scared or turned on? He wasn't too sure. "Thanks! Yours too. It's a little scary~." He smiled anyway, and came forward, pushing through the fear of being hurt again. "Kinda gives off that dominatrix vibe, yanno?" HP: 33 Damage: 4

Agghhhhh winking! It was like every man on this island who possessed two eyes deliberately winked at her all the time. It was irresistibly cute, and she found herself with that flustered yet pleased feeling in the pit of her stomach once more. She would likely be blushing throughout the entirety of this spar. "Oh what? Rorric??" She let out a short laugh punctuated with a snort. "He's not scary." She waved the whip around again, shaking the tails back and forth. "Well, I mean, I guess when he's on fire he's a bit scary..." But that wasn't going to be an issue for today, though he chirped at her with sad apologies for the times he'd burned her in the past. "And I'm not...I don't think..." She suddenly began to stammer after his dominatrix comment, before flinching and ducking ineffectually away from his blades, which came down on her shoulder. From her still crouched position, she flailed towards one of his legs. HP: 31 Damage: 3

"He can light on fire?" He laughed aloud. "Wow that is impressive!" Maybe one day Vahn would do something so impressive. < >
Other than that.
"Awwww did I embarrass you~?" He chuckled. This chick was adorable! He laughed, jumping up from an attack on his shins.

"It's his charge." Came a quiet voice from below, one arm up blocking her head should he choose to swing at her again. "It's very beautiful but it hurts to hold him when he's in that state." She explained, straightening up, her eyes widening at his latter comment. "No! I mean, a little, I guess." Her cheeks felt like they might just melt off, so to distract herself, she tried to hit him again, but only managed a glancing blow. "What does your weapon do when it's charged?" She asked, hoping to change the subject. HP: 31 Damage: 1

"So you cold say you're smoking hot before and after your charge?" He just had to. He lunged in to try and get another hit in. He did so love to see a woman blush. It was the best trophy of all. It made him feel noticed and acknowledged; that he had an effect on others. "He heals with the stones on my palms." He lifted his hands up as if surrendering, showing off the sapphire looking round stones in the palm wraps of his weapon. HP: 29 Damage: 1

Lydia's brain keyboard smashed a few times while she attempted if process that one, her mouth opening and closing several times in failed attempts to respond. She gave up, and managing to squeak out a "Th-thanks." Before her attention was diverted. "Ohhhhh. Oh how nice!" She exclaimed, delving straight into the distraction. "What was he before?" She wondered out loud, verballizing her thoughts, with a tap on her chin. Oh wait, she was supposed to be hitting him! She hastily struck out again with a small jolt. HP: 30 Damage: 3

"He was a werewolf, so he tells me." He grinned, moving to block her whips with the small guard on his hand. A few of the whips's ends hit his forearm with a sting. He dropped the guard and jabbed a few hits back at her. HP: 26 Damage: 4

More unladylike squeaks and sqwacks as she found herself jabbed at, taking clumsy steps back to get away from the miniature assault, at some point swinging her whip wildly back and forth in front of her as if that might help. Dylon twisted his body away from her flailing attempts at an attack, and lunged right back in after it lapsed. "I never met one either! One day I'll get this guy in a golem and I can meet him properly." HP: 25 Damage: 1
