Minagi sat on the top step looking out over the yard where the little ones played, three beautiful little balls of fluff. All theirs and to her they were the most beautiful things she had ever seen in her life. She was silently glad their litter had been small, she wasn't sure if she'd have been able to handle a large litter.

Zoey romped explored the spring flowers clumsily. They were all so bright and beautiful, she wasnted to touch them all and she slowly picked one of very color, shape and size she found creating a large bunch of odd smells, colors, stems and dirt that got her little pink romper filthy. She carefully toddled over to her mother and held up the bundle. "F'yew Mumma!" she held out the mess proudly, grinning from ear to ear.

Kyou practically ran home, a fresh kill clenched in his jaw. Minagi still wasn't 100% and did the lions share of the childcare so the male thought the very least he could do would be to keep his loved ones fed. So much had changed from the day when Minagi told him she was with kits and then, like a blink of an eye, they were here and they were perfect. He hated spending any time away from his young family. The tom wanted to spend every waking moment with him. And so he ran home, the small yard coming into view.

Aoife sat on the ground pouting. She had gotten her little lavender romper dirty and was not very happy about it. She looked over at her siblings, seeing that they two were covered in mud as we. Ew dirt! so gross. She saw her sister bringing mommy over some flowers and desided that she too wanted attention. She carefully got to her feet, wobbling while doing so, bum in the air for balance before walking over to her mum clumsily. As she walked over and clung to her mothers leg she looked over to see an orange cat in the horizon. "Daddy home!" she shouted, a chubby finger pointing in his direction.

Minagi hugged her girls and gave them both a kiss on the forehead. "The flowers are lovely Zoey" she purred. She could see the dirt on the rompers and she shook her head a little, it was to be expected. There was no point in working herself up over something so small. She had always been the one coming home covered from ear tip to tail tip in dirt and grime. When Aoife pointed Minagi looked up to see the orange streak coming towards them. "Oh yes, Daddy's home!"

Little Zoey perked up and turned around looking for her father. "Dada?" she chirped and pointed when she saw him and clapped her hands excitedly. She started carefully down the steps climbing laborously to meet the tom arms stretched out and hands grabbing at the air.

Kyou couldn't help but grin widly when he saw his family in the distance. He would have never imagined that he could ever actually be this happy and could be coming home to a beautiful mate and a beautiful family. Life really couldn't be more perfect. He jogged down towards them and bent down and picked up the little kit, swinging her in the air before gathering her up in his arms. "Hi darling! I missed you." he said, giving her a peck on the cheek. "Did you miss me?" He walked across the yard quickly, bouncing the kit up and down with his long strides. The tom strode over and gathered up the other two as he walked before finally getting to Minagi. "I'm home beautiful." he said with a cheeky grin before kissing her. Aoife buried her face in her fathers arm, sticking her tongue out as she did. "ew gwoss daddy!"

Squealing Zoey grabbing tight to her father after the flight of fancy. "Missed you lots" she said a little purr and she snuggled into him. He was smelling from hunting and she wrinkled her nose. "Ew, Daddy stink!" she piped at her mother.

She melted at the sight of him with their little ones, and turned a puddle when he kissed her. After all this time he could still make her feel so alive. " I can see this, I'm glad you're home." she smiled. She stuck her tongue out a little as Aoife. "You'll do it one day too silly!"

Kyou laughed and booped the kitten on the nose with a grin. "I'm sorry Daddy stinky. I was out getting your dinner you know!" he said with a laugh as he cuddled them all. The tom looked down at his mate, his eyes drinking in her beauty. "I got us something really good to eat today" he said with a smile, pointing to the large hare he had slung across his back. He had spent a lot of time while Minagi was pregnant working on his hunting skills, wanting to make sure he could provide the very best for his mate and his family. "How're you feeling love?" The kits were growing fast but he knew it took the female body time to heal after such an amazingly difficult experience.

Aoife stuck her tongue back at he mother. "Ew no waaaaaay! Gross!! Only kiss mama and daddy"

Zoey looked over Kyou's back and gaped at the hare. It was bigger than her and she was amazed at how strong her father was. To be picking up her and her siblings and the still carry such a big thing on his back. It was massive and snow white with large pink eyes. She reached out to touch it and felt the soft fur brush against her hand. "Soft..." she muttered, want to bury herself in the softness.

Minagi stood with without a wince and smiled. "The best I've felt in quite some time actually." she beamed. "I might even be up to more than just housework and kitten wrangling here in another week I'd say!" she said putting her hand on her slightly wider hips proudly. Sure strenuous activities still caused her discomfort, but getting around and regular house work was becoming no big deal at all finally. At first it had been quite the laborious task, and now everything was finally becoming easier again.

Kyou smiled at his daughter and move the hare so she could get a better look. "Yes soft. If you want we can make it's skin into a blanket for you, so that you can sleep on something really soft. What do you this Mommy?" Kyou said with a wink, looking over at his mate. It was strange sometimes to think that they were parents but Minagi had taken to the roll like a duck to water. It was like she was made of be a mother. He extended his had to help her up, always worried for her mates welfare. "I'm glad you're feeling better my love. But don't push yourself too much." he added, his brow furrowed with concern.

Aoife emerged from her nook in under her fathers arm and made grabby hands toward Minagi. "Up! Up Mommy!" she exclaimed excited.
