Elpis hopped across the city rooftops carefully, glancing over edges to make mental notes of things she sighted or people she encountered by a glance as she moved along - never long, and most never got a good look at the senshi peerson at them as she all but danced along, mind focused on checking for others out and about - White Moon Senshi or Knights on patrol, and she felt for Chaos auras to check for signs of trouble, or the handful of chaos agents she'd met with some decency - and intelligence or compassion. Still, the senshi was alert and wanted to check every nook and cranny eventually, even if only by stealth, and she paused momentarily to drink some water she'd brought, glancing about.

Things had been going fairly well for Sinistra, so far, at least. She had not gotten into any real fights, and she felt like she was doing okay, on the senshi front. There was a lot more to learn, but she had most of the basics down now, she felt, and she was much more comfortable powering up and down, and going out on patrol.
Maybe too comfortable, since she had no reason to fear it. Yet, anyway.
If anything, this was an opportunity for her to come out of her shell a bit more. Having to ask everyone about how to do things led to her talking to more people than she had in years. Maybe she would be a little less awkward in social settings now, or at least not choose books over people all the time.
It as a slight chance, but it was still progress.
She still patrolled on the ground, though, and when she felt a familiar aura nearby, she struggled to find the source of it on the rooftops above. She was not certainly she could climb up to a roof... not in this dress. And physical activity like that, that exposed her to dirt and possible nail breakings, was just not her idea of fun.

Elpis brightened feeling a familiar aura around and turned, walking to a fire escape to go look for Sinistra eagerly. She'd worried for the little senshi, and wanted to ensure she would be alright, the girl almost prancing in releif as she moved to seek her out. "Sinistra!" Elpis finally waved, spotting her. "Over here!"

Sinistra smiled brightly when she heard the familiar voice, looking around and then up to locate her on the fire escape.
"Oh, Elpis! Hello!" She waved excitedly, her hands flailing a bit in her eagerness. She caught herself and blushed brightly, putting her hands together and holding them in front of her demurely in an effort to save some face.
She was supposed to be a well mannered young lady, not a hooligan!
"It's nice to see you! How are you doing tonight? It's a relief to see someone I actually know. I was starting to think there was just a constant revolving door of faces, and I would never get to know anyone..."
It did seem like she was meeting a lot of powered people, and it was more than her socially awkward self was used to.

Elpis beamed, and finished climbing down, the older senshi happy to see Sinistra so eager. The energy was infectious, and Elpis grinned excitedly. "Yeah, I noticed that too. I'm glad to see you too. I'm well, persuing information. How about you? Keeping busy?"

Sinistra was having a good night, so far, and she was not going to complain about that. Her shyness was a little eased, too, since she was comfortable enough around Elpis now to not feel completely out of place. They had exchanged senshi phone numbers, after all!
That meant they were friends, basically, right? It was like adding someone on facebook.
"I'm doing alright, considering. I haven't had any very serious run ins with any uhm. Negaverse. In fact, everyone I've met so far has seemed very nice and accommodating, and it's been lovely! Such beautiful outfits, some of them, too! It's been delightful to actually meet others and have something in common with them. I don't think I've ever been able to, well... talk to someone as easily as I have with other senshi."
She blushed a bit. Of course, there were some bumps in the road, and she had embarrassed herself a bit, but she did not really need to talk about any of that, did she? Just focus on the positives: that was what she was trying to do.

"I know, right?!" Elpis beamed, unable to resist joining Sinistra's enthusiasm, and she beamed brightly to the girl, eager. "Have you met any knights? There's a lot of really swell ones, and they're really nice as well. Who've you met so far on our side?" Elpis smiled, before looking awkward, smiling shyly. "I know what you mean about talking. Most of my non-schoolwork talk before was dominantly over the web or about games. Ah..." She turned a bit pink. "Afraid I'm something of a geek I guess."

"I don't believe I've met a knight," she said, looking thoughtful, "but I did meet a Corrupt Senshi that was very lovely, and another senshi, like us, and we ended up finding these little bottles!" She produced the little bottle of liquid carefully, showing it to Elpis.
"See? I don't know what it is, but neither did he. We each took one and, well. There it is. It's very pretty, though, and the color is wonderful!"
She looked even more delighted when Elpis said she was a geek, though in her mind that word did not just mean computer enthusiast or gamer. It had gotten a lot of different uses recently, but when she was growing up it had always been thrown at her as an insult about her studies.
"I am a geek as well! Well, in that I mostly only ever talked to people in group work. I'm very happy to be able to meet more people though, like you! It's very overwhelming, but interesting!"

"I am so glad your first experience was better than mine. I met one who I had to fight off." Elpis sighed, then blinked, studying the bottle in confusion, brow raising. "I... What is that stuff?" She asked. "It's pretty, but it reminds me of Dungeons and Dragons." Elpis blinked, then smiled. "You study a lot? I'm mostly a computer geek myself, but books are pretty good too. Ever see the fiction and cooking sections of - of the library?" Elpis sort of hoped so. Maybe Sinistra would be good tactially and thinking her way out of problems?

"I don't know what it is! I'm too scared to try and drink it, though, so I think I'll just hold on to it for a bit. I do not want to be poisoned or something likewise horrible! And I worry if I spill it, the color will never come out of my dress. I'm doing my best to be careful with it."
It was clear from her tone and her expression that she was not joking about her worry about staining her fuku.
"I basically live in the library. That's where my parents expect me to go when I say I'm going out, and I'm there all the time. I've my own room! Well, sort of. The librarian is very nice about letting me keep a routine. My parents say I spend too much time there but... uh..."
She sighed, shaking her head and blushing a bit.
"Well, anyway. I've been to most of the sections of the library, but I can't say I spend much time in cooking. I don't have many... uh... practical skills."

"At least it's a pretty nie color." Elpis admitted, then grinned. "My Dad's all about books. Nothing wrong admitting you like books. I like the library too, even if my Dad is trying to compete in terms of book quantity." The senshi giggled. "Although books can help in a scrape, you know? We can read all sorts of books that might give us ideas for escaping a situation."

Sinistra laughed at that. She felt like she had a pretty excessive book collection, too, but at least the library allowed her to slow the intake. If she could borrow, then she did not have to continue to clog up her room and all the bookshelves in the house.
Though it was always painful to hand a book back in. And if it was something she particularly enjoyed... well, she always got her own copy anyway.
And that was a lot of what she read.
"Escape? I guess that's true. I could start reading books about fighting and defending yourself, too. I hadn't thought about that. I wonder if there are self defense classes? I could take one of those! I don't mind physical activity, so much, if it's a class. Though I was never very good at sports..."

"Even Yoga might help. Limber up and get strong enough that way. Tactically I'm sure there's books too." Elpis rubbed her head shyly, smiling some. "There's also seeing shows for me, but in those cases you need to account for the stunts and CGI. Though Youtube might have some actual videos on fighting." The senshi tapped her chin. "I wonder if any knights or any senshi teach defensive or combative lessons. If so communication can really stand to improve."

"Yoga? Oh, I hadn't thought of that! That seems like a really calm and fun thing to do. Less ah... demanding... then some other things, hm?" She chuckled a bit, daintily playing with her skirt.
She was a very gentle and loving little creature, but she was prissy. She could get wrapped up in keeping herself clean and looking presentable, sometimes, and she did what she could to always be on the top of her game in those regards.
Which got in the way of... likely more important things.
Fighting was probably not going to work well with that nature, but she would have to learn that for herself.
"I'm not sure if anyone does. I haven't asked too many just yet... and I haven't met many people of a higher rank than me. But maybe they do!"

"Yoga also builds balane and flexibility." Elpis noted, pausing briefly. "Actually, I should look into Yoga courses to, thinking on it. "As for training, somehow, I'm not surprised. I rarely see other senshi... Are we just rare?" She paused. "Or do stronger senshi just forget we're here? Mneh, we'll sort it out, though."
