Sub Pub Music - Equilibrium
As the crowd sat in anticipation for the next segment of the night, their waiting was met with darkness engulfing the arena. The crowd roared, it could mean only another visit or message from The Entity, Johnathan Riker.
Sitting in the pitch black of the arena, the crowd turned their attention to the Titantron as it flickered to life. Instantly the crowd was met with a quick flurry of pounding music. With each blast from the PA, still images of Riker from past moments in his career flashed across the screen. Soon enough fading into view, the silhouette of Riker was seen He was standing straight up, with arms stretched out. As the camera focused it came obvious that Riker was perched a top a stake like a scarecrow. His wet stringing hair hanging from his limp head. Then without moving from his deadman's position, Riker's hollow and raspy voice emerged through the music.
"Be sure your sin will find you out..."
Three blasts from the music hit, and again more images flashed across the screen. This time however of Guy Cancer's past. Then once the images had faded away, Riker slowly lifted his head towards the horizon.
"You can not hide..."
Another blast from the music, and again another image of Guy Cancer flashes across the screen.
"I have come calling Foxy... And I will wait no longer... No more am I here to send a message.. The message is clear!"
Then the music once again picked up, Now video clips of Riker flashed across the screen. Clips of him hitting brutal Malicious Strikes, and Kataklysm's on past rivals. such as Cartwright, Kelly King, Ryuu Sakamoto, Joshua Danielson, Jarel, Marxx, Sanosuke, and Jed. with the black and white grainy effect applied to the videos, it added that extra bit of drama. Then for a brief moment the music dead. Riker then slowly dropped down from the post, landing on his hands and knees. His hair hung low as he stared into the dirt of the barren field. Dust was kicked up from his impact with the Earth, and the wind threw it across the plain. Lifting his head and looking dead into the camera with his piercing white eyes, his cold gaze just visible past the the strands of hair hanging over his masked face. Then the as the music quickly built up to another climax, more images and clips of Riker and Fox flashed across the screen. Both from past rivals, and the few matches with each other. Clips of their past wins, and even their past failures flashed across the screen with the pounding of the music. As Riker's voice once again broke through the music.
"A war is coming... Supremacy is the natural objective of every creature on this world... However our fate is sealed... Our journey together is coming to it's inevitable end... And on that night I will test you, test you to the very limits of human endurance, and beyond... This will be our final days together as I mercifully send you... Into oblivion"
Then as the music once again came to a halt Riker slowly pushed himself up to his feet, letting his hair hang in front of his face as he stood up straight. Tilting his head to the side and cracking it. he then rolled a shoulder and began to walk into the open field. Heading off into what look like oblivion, the field stretched for miles with nothing in sight but dust whipping across the plain. Then the music began to pound once again, and more images of Riker and Fox throughout their careers. This series of clips however favored Riker more, and even ended with him him standing above a defeated opponent. Because of the angle of the shot, the opponent was unidentifiable. Then music finally faded to an end, with the last image of Riker fading into darkness.
Then simple white letters flashed onto the screen.
Spring In The Ring
Johnathan Riker vs Guy Cancer
Those letter faded away as the music had one last blast to give, which would be accompanied by a new text across the screen with the same simple white lettering.
This is the way the world will end
Those final words faded away as the promo ended and the crowd was left roaring. As they couldn't wait for the final encounter between the two legends.
