 Skydiving: the ultimate adrenalin rush. Shrill X liked speed, she liked heights, she liked throwing herself out of high places at high speeds and then not hitting the ground like she was supposed to. It was all part of the experience. The rush of possible doom and then conquering all fears. Yeah, Shrill X could dig it. Though truth be told, Shrill X had never actually gone skydiving. Bungee jumping, yes multiple times, but for some reason she’d never gotten around to that whole throwing yourself out of a plane part. Today was the day! Today she would take the ultimate test and triumph! It was just too bad she didn’t have anyone to jump with her. The Voice of Time five thousand years later we have a start ;o;

And while the thrill of throwing yourself from extreme heights might be what some looked for when it came to the idea of skydiving, others would have something completely...obscure when it came down to it.
Ok, maybe Salvo was a bit crazy herself for the thought...but yea, she was in it only for the small shot she had at touching the clouds for the first time in her life.
Now, the question would be how she came to learn of such a venture in the first place. Well, that was pretty simple. It seemed to be that flyers were practically strewn about the place in a pretty casual manner, seeming to be advertising some 'special' of sorts. Probably like a 2 for 1 deal, which was unfortunate because Sal knew well that she wouldn't be able to come across any of her friends any time soon... well, if she could remember who they were to begin with. Maybe she does belong in the sky with that bird brain of her's. But none of that now. Surprisingly, the mare was able to put two and two together and realize what skydiving was, instantly made giddy with a few happy hops as she soon sped off towards the site of this skydiving business, the flyer rightfully crumpled up in her mouth as she did. It was obvious that should would accidentally bump and bang into the occasional bystander, making a muffled apology that was almost impossible to understand as she went.
"Mm hmmry!!!" was quite literally what she would call out, bounding on until WHAM! CRASH!. Yep, she ran right into a certain white-bodied mare. Falling back onto her rump, Sal gave a small groan as she raised a hoof to tap at her forehead a bit, the flyer now on the ground as she tried to recuperate from the fall. "Ah, sorry about that--" She finally managed to apologize, shaking her head in an attempt to make the dizziness go away. Yea...that...actually doesn't sound like all of an ace idea now that you put it into perspective. Ech, details am I right? Ruriska ((Psh, it's totally fine =7= I'm really busy in recent anyway, what with the two essays that I have to do...thatIhaveyettostartandhavetogetinbyThursdayhahahahahaha--;; ))

Shrill X was close to her destination, only half dawdling along the way, first getting a coffee and then a donut and then standing around critiquing some chalk artwork some guy was drawing on the pavement. It was lucky she’d already finished the coffee when she turned to continue on her way and something bright and solid smashed right into her side. "WHAA!" She yelled, tossing the empty cup in the air and also sitting down on her rump in surprise. Shrill X recovered first and gave the other Phony a light shove, probably not helping with the dizziness. “You gotta watch where you’re going, girl! Nearly cleaned me up good!” With a scowl, she snatched up the lost flyer and- hello fate! "You good? Come on get up. We’ve got a plane to catch!" Well, at least Sal could be glad that she hadn't gotten scalded by some hot coffee misfire, but that was besides the point. The shove did make the mare pretty distraught, especially since she had tried her best to apologize for the mistake. Though...it wasn't as bad as it could be.
And further redemption came when the other had actually taken up both the flyer and the mare, Sal blinking a few times as she hurriedly got onto her hooves again. "Huh? Whaddya mean we've got a--" Then her eyes lit up, an enthusiastic grin to boot as she nodded and gestured towards the direction of the building with a happy shake. "Yup, 'm all set to go when you are!"
There was no question about it; no matter who this stranger with the wicked mohawk was, Salvo was fully trusting and super psyched in knowing that they were going to be going to go skydiving. And some of that hype did have to do with the discount. Hey, cheap/free joy is the best kind.Ruriska ((Pft...if only the essays were the end of the problem. I totally forgot about this stupid new test that we were the guinea pigs for and well, lots of other things kinda snowballed into taking forever to respond @^@ But since i've taken my last big test, sat for the SATs in two or so weeks, I should be set for this year >7<;; Especially since i'm past the terrifying monster that is the first AP tests i've ever taken. Just...I hate all the new things they're implementing into our school year. The year before didn't have to do it, and the next gen gets to have knowledge in advance...and making all this new crap graduation requirements isn't making it any better but eh, i'm rambling now @^@;; Also, late happy B-day wishes on my end >^<))
