You may have noticed by now that Megrez has found some strange creatures on her home planet, and that they have come to Destiny City. This thread is going to act as a little repository for information on them and will be updated as the plot progresses!

What is a Puffski?

Puffskis are, at their most basic, world-hopping puffballs that settled on Megrez in ancient times. You can see a picture of them above (cream not included). They can be found on any world they like, though they tend to favor fertile, peaceful worlds (like Silver Millennium Megrez). They do have a homeworld that most of them hail from called Puusk, but no one in-universe who’s still alive knows where they came from. They communicate chiefly in puus and buus, with the occasional name pun or fragment of the local language thrown in (Buutiful! Wonderbuu!). Rarely, you will find a puffski that can actually talk in the local language without the use of a translator. (If any talking puffskis show up, they will be “important NPCs” and not for player use.) When threatened, puffskis can pull out sharp teeth (that are normally tucked away) and bite people. Their bites hurt and will probably draw blood!

Trivia that might come into play:
- Baby puffskis are called pufflings.
- A large group of puffskis that has settled in one place is called a community. A smaller group is called a flock. (In ancient Megrez, some people called the groups clusterpuffs.)
- Puffskis have a sort of limited telekinetic power that allows them to pick things up and touch them.
- In ancient Megrez, if a family of puffskis moved in near your house, it was considered a good omen for love and fertility.
- Puffskis can jump up to 16 times their own height. (For reference, an adult puffski is about 8 inches tall; a puffling will be about 3-5 inches tall.)
- In ancient Megrez, if a puffski crossed the street in front of you while you were on errands, it was said to be good luck.
- Puffskis can build their own little huts with magic.
- A puffski’s main food staple is a plant with a large, broad leaf called the Puura plant/leaf. They will plant these leaves in areas they settle in (though they’re not settling on Earth for long, they may plant some plants anyway, or give people puura seeds).
- Almost every puffski enjoys strawberry shortcake. It’s creamy, it’s soft, it has fruit… most puffskis would call it the ultimate treat from humans.
- Puffskis love sweet things, but do not like chocolate! It might be too strong for them.
- The ancient Megrezians held that a clipping of puffski fur kept in a locket would help ward off disease.
- Puffskis are capable of storing surprising things in their belly fur. They might have access to subspace.

UPDATE! Puffskis have officially taken Destiny City by storm! They are now literally everywhere, chilling in the parks, in the alleys, in trees (they can climb them... magically)... the perk to this is that you may now use puffskis as fodder for your RPs and solos!

There are, however, some Rules:

- Puffskis break up into energy when they die. It's not energy that sticks around for very long. On this note, I'd like to ask that people not grievously injure or kill any puffskis (this rule may change). Remember, if you attack, THEY WILL BITE YOU.
- You cannot corrupt a puffski. Any Negaverse attempts to stick a hand in a puffski’s chest (their body segment, really) will fail; your hand just won’t go through. Likewise, Dark Mirrors cannot put puffskis through a mirror. They will bounce off. (There are no rules against playing puffski handball by bouncing it off a mirror repeatedly, though the puffski will be displeased.)
- You do not need to be powered to interact with a puffski! Interacting with them as a civ is welcome~
- You can puppet puffskis yourself after the mass migration! The solo with Megrez and her group of puffskis should give you an idea of how they typically act (basically, like curious children). If you would like me to run the puffskis for you in your thread, feel free to let me know and I’ll help out.

That's all for now! Updates may come in the future.
