Ra'tari had been completely over the moon when she learned for sure she was with child. The knowledge that there was a little minion growing inside her to raise and train to serve her King was beyond euphoric. When the day of birth came and she had not just one but two beautiful, perfect, sinister little minions....words could not describe.
It seemed like just yesterday she had brought them into the world but how quickly they had already grown. A giggle escaped her lips as she watched her wicked little boy squish a bug and his silly attempts to clean his hands. "My little 'Eoh baby, such a fierce hunter you are!" she grinned, reaching down from her sprawled position across Sombra's 'throne" to gently ruffle his cute little tail fluff.
When her golden eyes caught sight of her King, a dark purr rumbled in her throat as she stretched herself out more. "My King! They learn quickly....are you pleased my Lord?" she mrrowed, almost like a cat on a cat n** high that wasn't coming down any time soon.
Yellow and green flamed eyes narrowed on her brother. Tiny dark rump stuck high in the air, demon tail flicking to and fro. She waited until her brother was fully distracted with his little buggy victim before pouncing. "Rawraa!" Az'shta growled playfully, landing on top of her tan sibling and playfully chomping down on his ear fluff. A very daddy like grin spread across her face and she giggled triumphantly.
When Sombra entered the room however, her attention turned and she wiggled in place atop her 'catch', hands reaching up to make grabby motions in the air. "Dada!" she squeaked, then play growled at him too, little wings flittering furiously.

"Ah! My kitten!" he half-purred (in his own way) back at her greeting as he entered. "Just the little 'Persian' I was looking for." he then half-teased. He chuckled then softly ran his nails across her forehead and down her neck in a bit of a scritch.
In a swift motion, he swooped the vine and crystal over her head and began tying off the vine to secure the necklace safely about her neck. The Crystal that hung there, though cloudy in appearance, rested perfectly against her chest.
"A gift." he then started in almost a whisper, his lips mere centimeters from her ear. Undoubtedly permitting his hot breath to grace the fur there in a bit of a tease. "For being the perfect little kitten that you are. And...!" He stood back, producing the other two necklaces he had made. "How can I forget our adorable little minions, hmm?" he asked with a bit of a chuckle.
Turning, he scooped up Az'shta. With one hand, he held one of the necklaces out to Ra'Tari. "For the little Prince...?" he seemed to ask, hoping Tari would get the hint. He knew she would easily understand before turning his attention back to his daughter.
"And for the Princess...?" he asked with a pleased little grin. "Would her majesty like a gift from her father?" he seemed to coo, holding up her necklace where the little minion could see it properly.
La'eohn nearly pouted. He didn't like it when his sister got all mean like that. He was being the hunter here. Not her! Why'd she have to go and pounce him like that?!
At least mother knew and even saw his valiant efforts to rid the world of of more pest. The remaining goo between his claws was quickly wiped away, however. Ick...
His lip quivered as he felt teeth bear into his ear. He knew he had to be strong, so he didn't make a sound. Besides, he'd nearly gotten used to her bites by now. It was a miracle that his ears weren't riddled with holes from all the times she'd bitten them. Still didn't help the fact that it still hurt. He sometimes wondered if his sister bit harder and harder each time in order to test his pain threshold. It was a thought that crossed his mind several times, in fact. He had actually started to believe that to be true.
Hoofbeats entered the room and his father's familiar tones echoed into the small cave. He sighed deeply knowing that father only ever paid true attention to his mother and sister. Almost like his father was ashamed of him. No... he still acknowledged La'eohn's presence when he was around, just seemed to find other methods to ignore him... Was he afraid, then?
Feeling the weight of his sister lifted off of him, he sighed again. There father went again, paying more attention to his sister and mother than him... but... a gift?
And there was one for him too?
Near the point of excited, La'eohn rushed over to his mother, eying her new necklace with great interest.
"Pretty, mommy!" he purred to her, softly touching the cloudy crystal now about her neck before he turned his attention to the one father was offering to mother for La'eohn.
La'eohn knew how precious those crystals were to father. The fact that he was so willing to share them with the three of them meant more to La'eohn than the others could even imagine. Especially if one of those crystal were now his.

'tari purred louder and louder as Sombra teased the way he did, her tail tip twitching only ever so slightly. Her eyes narrowed on the crystal, a grin spreading across her face. It wasn't often he gave gifts, no. Just compliments and pets. but today....oh one of his precious crystals. She must have done something right to please her lord!
"My King, it is beautiful." she mrred, thinking how her Master never gave her things like this. How that stupid silly faun was missing out on what he could have had. No matter, she'd make him see one day when he wasn't chasing that stupid possessed twit of a pae.
Gently touching the crystal around her neck with the tips of her fingers, her eyes lifted to the ones for the children as well. One for Az'shta and one for her little Eoh. Though the hint in Sombra's tone caught her attention fully and she took the necklace being offered out with the slightest change of expression. He never fully paid any attention to their little Prince, like he was...defective or something. But all Ra'tari saw was a perfect little hunter who couldn't make her any more proud.
"Here my little 'Eoh, my precious little boy." she cooed, turning her attention towards the boy as he rushed forward, touching her crystal. "Daddy has one for you as well my Prince." she purred once again, gently reaching to tie the vine around his little neck, placing the crystal on his chest just so. Her fingertips tickled the ends of his ear tufts before she scooped him up into her arms.
"Shiny, ooooo..." Az'shta's previous hunt on her brother was deterred as she was picked up and presented with a pretty necklace from her daddy. "Yes, gift. Daddy pweaze! she grinned, reaching out with her little hands to gently touch the crystal being dangled in front of her. Her yellow and green flamed eyes narrowed on it like a cat concentrating on its next target.
Her little tail flicked and her wings fluttered gently as she leaned forward to try to grab the crystal, a toothy grin spreading across her face that would make her father proud. "Best daddy." she half purred, peering up at him with a smug little look, a look obviously seeking praise and attention, anything to get more than what her brother was getting right now.
Speaking of which!
Being the brat that she was, she turned around and stuck her tongue out at La'eohn, making a pfffbtb noise with her tongue before giggling madly and sinking her fingers into the fluffy rim of Sombra's cloak. Her little fingers wiggled back and forth in the fluffyness, like a cat kneading its paws into something soft.

Sombra smiled at his Queen and winked. "It suits you." He then chuckled and cuddled his daughter a moment before his gaze narrowed and he moved so that both of his children were side by side.
"Now I want you to listen carefully..." he started in a more serious tone. "Both of you..." He wanted to be sure his daughter was aware that this was a serious matter for her to remember too, and not just something to wave off and forget. Yes. She was his little princess, but he knew that she got away with more than her brother did and knew it. This was not one of those instances where that would be allowed.
"These are very special gifts. You cannot lose them. If you lose them, I will know. Do you understand?"
His eyes darted between both of his children equally, waiting on the responses back from both of them before he'd be satisfied.
La'eohn purred softly and smiled in thanks at his mother. He then turned towards Sombra and - attempting to continue smiling with gratitude - purred out a very thankful "Thank you, Daddy."
He then turned his attention to his crystal and looked at it, practically memorizing every detail. It truly was a precious gift! One he wouldn't dream of letting go ever! He smiled at the milky quartz and let it drop back down on his chest where he patted it softly. "Mine..." he half-whispered to himself before he saw his sister spun around beside him, still propped up by father's arms.
He blinked a moment, unsure of what was going to happen, but his father's tone quickly turned his attention to fully rest on him.
He listened carefully - as he always did - to everything father said. The serious tone was nothing La'eohn wasn't used to. He heard it plenty of times directed to him... however, to witness that same tone directed to his sister too? There was something to truly listen to.
He nodded at the query and honestly responded. "I understand, Daddy."

Ra'tari set La'eohn down, though never quite left her children's sides. She bent down next to both of them, holding a hand near each one as Sombra spoke in that tone of his. All three knew to listen carefully when he spoke like that, 'tari being well used to it by now. It was a tone that usually meant if she did exactly as he said, she'd be rewarded. And oh his rewards....
Stifling a purr, she turned to look down at her little 'Eoh as he made his promise, grinning brightly as she rubbed her cheek against his. "That's my boy..." she paused before glancing over at Az'shta, the little spoiled Princess. "Listen to exactly what your daddy has to say my children." she said in her own serious tone, more so towards her daughter who had yet to speak up and was more so focused on her crystal.
Az'sh heard had heard her father perfectly, as well as her mother now butting in her two cents. Puffing up her tiny chest she finally tore her eyes from the crystal, her little fingers touching it gently. 'Yes daddy! Wont lose it, no no." she flashed her tiny fangs at him, grinning. Her little wings spread out wide in excitement and her little mind couldn't help but wonder.
"What it for daddy?" she blinked up at him cutely, as if that added face would get her the answer she wanted. He didn't usually speak to her with that same kind of voice so this really must be something super important. Especially if mamma was now pressing the issue. "Does have majiks? Can do sparkly things?" she peered back up at him, fully enthralled with her new gift as she held it tight in one hand and reached out at him with the other.

Sombra nodded at his son, knowing full well the boy would listen. But then his focus settled on his princess. A brow raised as she seemed more focused on her gift than him, but - with some help from 'Tari - she refocused and confirmed her end of the promise.
He smiled with pride as she spoke and leaned in to place a kiss upon her tiny head. "That's my girl." he cooed then stood, setting her down to play with her new gem.
He let out a small belly rumble of a laugh as Az'shta began to ask questions.
"Indeed it does, my little Princess!" he started then knelt down to show her a gem he still held in his hand. It matched theirs, but was much bigger - easily fit in his palm - and seemed to be the main part of the crystal all theirs came from.
"It has Daddy Magic." he began again and rolled the larger crystal in his hand. He then pointed to her necklace and continued. "No matter where you are; if you get lost, kidnapped, or even just go out to play... I'll always know where to find you. So long as you keep on those necklaces, I'll never lose you. Do you understand?"
La'eohn held back the urge to roll his eyes at his sister. She was always nosy. Always wanted all the answers and always made that face when she wanted her way...
And it always seemed to work...
He listened intently as daddy talked about magic. He looked at his crystal a little closer now. Was it true? Could daddy really tell where he was? Could daddy find him no matter where he was? If that was true, maybe he cared for the little lion cub than he seemed to portray?.... Only time would tell on that one.
So, running away won't be an option... Well, not that it was. He wouldn't leave his mother... She was the only one who knew and understood his full potential. She always encouraged him no matter what he did. Hunt bugs, draw in the dirt... eating and sleeping...
No. He'd stay with his family. He'd continue to do whatever it was his father told him to do and continue putting up with his sister in the mean time.
