He was on the field once more, spear in hand, jabbing it at the test dummies as Arorangi attempted to gain more experience in close-range combat. It was, however, much more difficult to gain said experience when the test dummies didn't actually move, and merely stood there looking...well, dumb.
Fortunately, Arorangi was a cheerful and positive sort, and it took a lot more than that to frustrate him. He glanced around the field, eyes raking the figures and the people milling about until he spotted someone by themselves that looked as though they might be a good candidate for helping him out a bit.
Arorangi made a beeline for him, reaching out and tapping him on the shoulder with a tattooed finger.
"Kia ora!" he said brightly. "My name is Arorangi; might you be willing to spar with me?"

Dylon turned around. A smile spread easily across his face. "You bet! I'm getting nowhere with these dummies." He gave a casual laugh, hopping back a step or two and waving his wrists out.
"Bring it on!"

Arorangi let out a little cheer.
"Excellent," he said happily, and readjusted his hold on the spear. "Lemme just get ready here and then - "
With a quick thrust forward, he swung the weapon sideways, attempting to catch Dylon in the side.

He sidestepped the majority of Dylon's thrust forward, Arorangi flipping the spear the other direction and attempting to propel him back away a few steps.
"This is much better than practicing on a dummy," he said cheerfully.

"Is Halloween a very big place?" He asked aloud, not really certain if Aro would know better. He looked to be a trainee as well. And Dylon himself had been a trainee for a year and a half. He'd never been to Halloween. He wasn't sure he wanted to. "I'm rather excited though. I like haunted places. Although the last mission I went to was incredibly difficult. It's the mystery of it." HP: 19 Damage: 0

Arorangi shrugged one of his large shoulders, looking curious.
"I am not sure myself, I have not yet been to Halloween," he said brightly. "Though I am very interested, one day I must go to the Haunted House so that I can learn a bit more about these creatures that we are fighting against. It is important that we know as much as we can, after all."
He laughed a little. "One of my best friends likes haunted places at well - what was your last mission, if you do not mind me asking?"

"I've only been there once so far. It's an odd place, but I met a cute little sprite there." Dylon of course thought all females were cute. The point was moot. "The last mission was... Gosh I'm not sure where. It was so foggy we couldn't see a thing! But creatures kept attacking us in it. It took forever to defeat!" HP: 18 Damage: 4
