Hyperborea was still trying to get her head straight from her experience last night. She had gone to outer space. OUTER SPACE! But not only that she meet a ghost. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I already found out that i'm a magical knight that I'm also the decedent of giants made of stone. But Its so cool, its just like something out a king Arthur story (with admittedly more magical girls). Sure Theseus was kind of a jerk but he was at least funny and Penthe was so cool, I can't wait to try out some of those attacks she show'd me.
Hyperborea notice a strong aura, but not only that a very pure aura. It was the aura of a transcended eternal senshi."Penthe?!" Hyperborea yelled out, looking around for her new glowing friend.
She didn't find her instead she saw different senshi walking toward her, this must be another trancended. But she looks totally different. Penthe had looked like a Amazon warrior but this girl looked like a princess, if she just had a ball gown she'd be a perfect match (well minus the glowing mark but even those glowing pink...or was that light purple Hyperborea couldn't tell).
"Bonsoir Mademoiselle! Je suis désolé. I mistook you for someone else." Hyperborea could feel her cheeks getting warmer from her earlier out burst. As the senshi got closer Hyperborea thought she was even more pretty, which only made her checks get redder. Whimsical Blue Ok here's a start let me know if I need to change anything. working title.

The little glowing light on her compact screen was a possibility and a promise, and so many other things Ida was struggling to grasp lately. A chance to make herself useful and return to the way things had been before they had gone so very wrong... but even that would be a struggle, she knew. Nothing would magically fix itself in a single meeting, but each little success seemed to help. Made things more bearable. Each day, memories softened and hurt faded, instances of her minds slipping back into those horrible moments in her past getting fewer and farther between.
Ida had tracked the glowing dot across the city, choosing it among a handful of others for being the closest. Tracking too far always seemed to turn up more youma than she cared to deal with and when one was looking for a basic senshi to meet, it was better not to draw danger straight to them. Maybe she was being overly protective, but it was hard to justify it when a little care could do so much.
As she drew close though, the young woman was startled as someone shouted a familiar name, pulling her gaze up from the compact she held cradled between her hands. Penthe? Penthesilea? She had met that senshi once... carried her to the hospital even, only to be yelled at later. The girl who had shouted, as it turned out, looked to be a shade younger than she was, and if her iridescent uniform was true to form, a new Cosmos knight. It was hard not to compare her to Hvergelmir, but they were both lovely in their own ways. Her dress looked comfortable and both covered more than Ida's uniform did, and offered some freedom of motion without the long swaths of cloth that Hver wore.
"Ah! Um, no, its fine, don't worry about it." Ida laughed as she waved a hand, closing her compact with a soft click. The french was a bit strange to be greeted with, but it was still a pleasant greeting. "I admit, I'm not a small, fiery red-head, but its easy to confuse people from a distance. My name's Ida. Its a pleasure to meet you."
She offered her hand out, palm up in greeting. She wondered, a little, what sort of person this was. Penthe was a strong personality... what sort of friends might she have? Well... besides Thraen.

"Sorry, your aura felt just like Penthe's. You're an incorruptible senshi right? Its a pleasure to meet you Ida, my name is Hyperborea page of cosmos." Hyperborea responded to the girl with a smile, shaking the offered hand. "Your outfit is very pretty if you don't mind me saying. What are you senshi of?" She asked, though she suspected it was flowers since the decorations reminded her of orchids. The senshi seem very nice. "Would you like to join me on patrol? I'd love the company." She asked politely.
Hyperborea wondered how exactly one became incorruptible. Penthe hadn't told her but maybe Ida would. Hyperborea was extremely curious she figured it must involve some grand ceremony or maybe a grand trial of strength or character. She also wanted to know if knights could become glowy or if it was only senshi.
But before that another question struck her, what had that thing been that Ida was looking at when she walk up. Hyperborea didn't remember seeing anything like that with the other Senshi she had met so far, and it didn't seem like a part of her uniform. "Um by the way. if you don't mind me asking what was that thing you were looking at earlier." She pointed to the purple and gold compact.

Ida's brows drew together in confusion and she tilted her head.
"My aura feels like Penthe's?" She repeated, wondering. Had the same glow appeared on the senshi of war? It was a curious thing. There had been many like them in the future, but back in this time, she could only remember Ganymede, Babylon and herself... but it stood to reason if it could happen to them, it could keep happening, right? Until the future camp, when so many had the same marks.
"Ah... yeah, I suppose I am? I mean... I don't know a whole lot yet about what this glow and aura means, but I've spoke with a senshi named Ganymede who is like me, and she mentioned the Negaverse couldn't touch our starseeds any more. I suppose that makes us 'incorruptible'. Did Penthe tell you about all of this?" Ida was a bit bewildered by this young woman who seemed to know so much about something they were still learning themselves... but she was friendly and her questions kept on coming. She made a mental note to call Penthe later, see if she could find out what the senshi of war knew and if it was different than what she did. It might be the time to get together everyone they knew of to discuss this and share their gathered information.
"I would be happy to join you... you seem to have a lot of questions. My sphere is Orchids, speaking of questions." The Eternal chuckled softly as she stepped up to join the page, offering her a warm smile. The compliment warmed her and she smoothed her hands down over her skirts, making sure they hung down properly.
"I was looking at my compact when I ran into you." She said as she reached for it, pulling the chain off over her head and offering the device out to her companion. A gold embossed orchid symbol decorated the top, echoed in the glow on her forehead. "I found it on my asteroid and *********, one of the guardian cats, fixed it up for me. Its a locator... it picks up basic knights and senshi, like you, and shows them on the screen. Its been really useful for my team and I, because we try to find new people like you and help them out, make sure they have all the information they need and aren't just... lost and wandering."
She waved her hands as she spoke, making the gold around her wrists jingle.

"Yeah, both your auras feel strong and very pure. Penthe had mentioned something about her starseed not being able to be touched which made her incorruptible, but to be honest I'm not really sure what that all means." Hyperborea admitted blushing a bit.
So I was right she is flowers, well Orchids but I was still close. Hyperborea actually felt pretty proud of her self for guessing correctly. Hyperborea responded to the woman's smile with toothy grin of her own. She already liked this woman, she was nice and seemed really cool (well she had meet alot of cool people since becoming a page but still).
"Wow so your place is an asteroid. That's so cool. Whats it like? I just visited my wonder yesterday it was really cool, but also kinda sad it was all falling apart." She wondered how an asteroid could have air for her to breath but then decided if floating city in outer space can have air so can asteroids. "I did get this cool ring. Apparently its like a magic heirloom, I guess kinda like your compact." Hyperborea held up her hand to show off the ring.
Hyperborea marveled at the device Ida was showing her, not only was it pretty it was really useful. "So is Chaonis on your team too? I wonder if thats how he found me when I fought painite." She said the last part more to herself than to Ida.

"That makes sense..." Ida mused. "I know Penthe, met her once during some fighting a while back. Do you know what starseeds are? That would probably make things clearer."
Questions about her asteroid brought a smile to Ida's face and she brightened visibly, finding passion in this particular subject.
"My asteroid is very small. Smaller than some large cities here on Earth. Its mostly a big city with farm land around it. All the technology is plant based, rather than made out of metal and electricity. Its pretty fascinating... I don't understand all of it, its pretty advanced science things, but I remember some of it in bits and pieces from my past life." She watched as Hyperborea lifted her hand to show her ring, leaning in to get a look at the bit of gold and purple. "Oh, that ring is very lovely! My compact wasn't something passed down to me, just something I found and made useful."
She smiled again at the mention of a familiar name, pressing her hands together happily. "Oh, Chaonis! Yes, he's one of my team members." Her happiness faded quickly to be replaced with concern. "Against Painite? Goodness... you're okay though? Silly question maybe, because you wouldn't be here otherwise, but... Painite is a bad General to go up against. I've faced her before and come out pretty badly."

"Oh I'm all alright. I mean she got me kinda good but its mostly healed up now and my doctor says it shouldn't leave too noticeable a scar." She patted her side where she had got hit. "Live and learn right, I'm just glad Chaonis was there else I don't know what would have happened. I'm just gonna have to get much stronger before I try to fight her again." Hyperborea gave a nervous laugh. She hadn't meant to worry Ida, she was just curious about it. She decided to change the subject a happier topic.
"So there''s a city on your Asteroid and they have plant technology, that sounds so cool. I'd love to see it. My wonder was a big city, it looked like an ancient Greek city, like out of a text book or something, and then there was the ghost. He said he was my ancestor, but he was this big giant made of stone, can you believe that I mean I still don't understand how I'm a descendant of his. Oh and there was a big maze underneath the city, that's where I got my ring." She said in an upbeat tone.
"Also I'm afraid I don't know what star seeds are, but I'm guessing they're important."

Ida nodded as she relaxed a little, happy that things seemed to have come out okay.
"It would be best to avoid her entirely, if you can. I know the damage she can do... Even when you've reached the same level as she is. I'm glad Chaoinis was there, he's saved me from her before." She said with real warmth. The senshi of Danger was an old friend she hadn't seen in far too long. It was good to hear he was still out and about, being the hero he was.
Ida brightened visibly when home worlds came up again and she clasped her hands together in excitement, rocking on her toes. "I would love to take you to Ida any time you'd like to go! I really enjoy showing it to people and I like to think the Asteroid benefits from visitors too. Yours sounds really interesting! I'd love to see it too, if you feel like sharing it with me. I just... I really love homeworlds."
"Um... Well, starseeds are something everyone has inside of them. It's sort of like your soul or spirit, if you believe in those things. The Negaverse has the power to reach into your chest and touch it... Either they can damage it, or pour chaos into it. It's how they corrupt you to their side, or worse... Turn you into a youma." She grimaced gently. "I've seen it happen... It's horrible. That's why its a big deal that people like me, and Penthe, can't have ours touched any more."

"Can I really go? That'd be awesome! When can we go? And of course you can come to my wonder; Theseus, that's my ancestor by the way, said visitors are always welcome in Hyperborea." Hyperborea was really excited to see Ida's asteroid, it sounded so cool.
Hyperborea stopped dead in her tracks when Ida mention youma. "Wait you...you mean youma are....are people?!" Hyperborea's voice was shaking. She had gone pale. Youma are people the negaverse turn into monsters. So when I dusted them I.... She felt sick to her stomach. "So I've killed people not monster."

Hearing the sudden distress pulled Ida up short and she turned wide eyes on the young knight, reaching out immediately to settle brown hands on her shoulders.
"Hyperborea, listen to me." She said firmly, giving bare shoulders a squeeze. "You were not killing people, I need you to believe that. Yes, Youma were once human, but when all that chaos was pushed into them, they were lost. There is no way to change a youma back into a human... I'm not even sure they are truly alive any more."
She gently rubbed Hype's upper arms, trying to soothe her a little. "I know its a very hard truth to learn... I remember what it was like, watching a girl I knew become one. I should have been less flippant about it, I suppose. I guess its not common knowledge, or just not with those just starting out. But please, don't beat yourself up... They live only to serve the Negaverse and to do that, they hurt people. By dusting a youma, you are making the city safer, both for us and for regular people, who don't have the powers that we have."

Ida's comforting did a lot to help Hyperborea calm down. She looked up at Ida's brown eyes. "I'm sorry, your right. Even if they were people we can't help them now so its better to protect regular people. I just...just don't understand why they have to do it, make people into monster. I...I hate that Metallia why does she make her solders do this to innocent people like your friend, isn't the negaverse strong enough without youma?" She gave a sad sigh. "I guess that's a stupid question to ask, they clearly either feel that they need youma or they just don't care. Lets talk about something happier." She said trying to mange a smile.
"You said I could go to Ida right? When do you think I could go? I'm really curious to see what type of place it is since you said they use plants for everything." Hyperborea said trying to change the subject to something that didn't depress her.

The young woman smiled as she eased her hands down from Hype's arms to her wrists instead, gently holding her hands.
"This is why I fight them, and why I'll keep fighting them. So I can protect people and keep them from doing it to anyone else." She gave her hands a squeeze before she released them.
The change of topic to a lighter one brought a smile to her face and Ida spread her hands.
"We can go any time you like! We can even go now if you're that excited to see it. Otherwise any time is fine. Travel to planets is limited when you're still new, but when you gain ranks, its easier to go more often... and now this glow I have, I can go even more often than that. I have school most days, but I'm almost always free in the evenings and at night."

Hyperborea knew she liked this woman, she was kind and wanted to protect others. Her hands are warm. Hyperborea thought. She returned the older girl's smile.
"I would love to see your planet now if I can." She said politely as she took Ida's hand.
