Will you look at that! One more month has gone by, and now it's time to redirect the spotlight onto Sifen Yamishi, our current guild captain! Kind, creative and enthusiastic about making this guild the best it can be, this dedicated man volunteered to carry the torch for our founder a little over a month ago and has certainly done a good job of keeping the Umbrella alive and active ever since!

From serious questions about transgender identity and online leadership to silly questions about which direction the toilet paper should face, Sifen is sure to answer any query you throw at him until next month's spotlight event.

To Sifen himself I say: Congratulations!

To start with, answer me these questions three:

- What TV series, book, movie or everyday item is most likely to trigger nostalgia for you?

- If you could style and color your hair (including facial hair) any way you wanted, what would it look like?

- Which stage of gender transition do you find to be the most entertaining?

Question 1:
For me, the series "Moonlight" is the nostalgia trigger. During my last two years of high school, I went into a very dark place and it was through watching Mick St. John on TV/online that it helped me bury myself in a defense mechanism to ride it out.

Question 2:
Facial hair-wise, I'd leave it clean shaven if possible.
As far as styling/coloring my hair, I'd try to style it like the guys from Block B or Acid Black Cherry.

Question 3:
Voices and style mainly.

- Totally not trans-related but do you consider yourself to be a dog or a cat person, or does it matter? biggrin

- Do you have role-models or someone you sympathize with / look up to kind of gender identity / trans wise? Or some other person you would like to mention?

Question 1: I am a cat guy, but I'm sadly allergic to them. :c However, I have a soft spot for electric eels and ferrets.

Question 2: Trans-wise, I look up to Laverne Cox, Sonique Love, Carmen Carrera and a few others.

However, outside of that, I look up to the following:

1: Stephen and Mallory Georg
These are two Let's Players who not only are married, but they are LGBT advocates. They have spoken openly about this issue, most recently in their January 2015 Q&A video, in which a fan asked their stance on how they feel about people being transgender. Not only did Stephen say it is despicable that we have to ask about this in 2015, but he said that he and his wife are crusading for the cause.

2: RuPaul Charles
In my sophomore year/junior year of college, I fell into a very dark place of depression. However, it wasn't until seeing an advert for "RuPaul's Drag Race" that it helped me get out of there. I soon learned to be more comfortable as an LGBT person and am trying to be more out.

There are a few more, but I mainly look up to a few select actors, the aforementioned above, chefs and some other people.

Why and when did you decide to make this guild?

Oh piss! Sorry I never saw this question.

To answer it, I actually became the chairman as of recently by Ryn, who stepped down to work on some real life things.

I joined because I wanted to be a part of a non-drama oriented trans support group.
