Silverwing was running at full gallop throughout the woods trying to catch some sign of his sister. It was her idea that they play hide and seek to begin with, and being a good brother he went right along with the game. Of course it was looking like his sister was way better at this game than he was. He'd been looking since the sun was high in the sky and still hadn't seen hide nor hair of her. Or...tail or feather or...anything really. "Man, she is really good at this," he muttered under his breath finally starting to feel discouraged.
But then he saw it out of the corner of his eye, a small bit of movement. In that instant all of his confidence returned and he knew he had her. He sprung forward with all his might and tackled the little filly....who was Not his sister!

"Gah!" Dragana yelped as she was violently and unceremoniously tackled to the ground. "What do you think you're doing?" she demanded shoving whatever it was firmly Off her. Her goal in light might have been to appear as a delicate and fair flower, but she had these horns and spikes for a reason and she knew how to use them! But she was astounded to find when she turned to face her foe that it was only a stupid little foal, not much older than her own brothers by her measure. "What on earth do you think you're doing?" she demanded pulling herself up to her full height and stamping her front hoof in indignation.

Sekkei heard the yelps and the angry demands and sighed. She debated going to find out what he had gotten himself into. He was HER toy… ah… brother. She didn’t much like the idea of anyone else breaking him. Not that she intended on breaking him, of course. She was holding on to the hope that someday he might actually be useful. Plus there was the whole fact that their parents were oddly fond of her brothers. Fools, the lot of them. She sighed heavily. She’d been enjoying the solitude as Silverwing had fumbled around on his own. Idiot had been going in circles for the past few hours and hadn’t even seemed to realize it. But if something happened to him… ugh… With a soft grumble, she peeked out of the thick briar bushes she had settled in to hide from Silverwing, to see what was going on.

"You.....are not my sister!" the foal quickly surmised. "Which makes my tackling you really, really embarrassing...right sorry. My sis and I are playing hide and seek and it turns out she is like, Really good at this so I've been looking for her for Forever and I wasn't seeing anything at all, but then I saw something move and I thought it was her but instead it turned out to be you!" He flashed a quick grin at the end of his tail, "So you see, totally understandable misunderstanding. But um, I'm Silverwing, do you want to play hide and seek too? Maybe together we can find my sister?" his little bob tail swished excitedly at the prospect of another playmate.

A case of mistaken identity, the little filly mused. Was that all? She was a little annoyed still, but as always she sized up her contemporary and tried to take his measure. Foolhardy, that was certain and he truly didn't seem all that bright. She tossed her mane with a huff and considered the fact that at least he apologized. That was at least something, although it was something small. But hide and seek wasn't really her think. The thought of hiding in some grimy little spot while she waited for someone to all too slowly attempt to find her was not the least bit appealing.
She slowly shook her head no while trying to come up with the most appropriate response in this situation. Her great annoyance with being shoved the ground was still too near to the surface. So she offered an icy smile and politely stated, "No, thank you. I was quite happy just as I was, thank you very much. This particular spot offers a stunning view of the sunset so I'm going to go back to admiring that....alone...by my self....just as soon as you leave." She made that last point a steady statement.

Sekkei was torn between being annoyed that this female dared to be so cold with HER brother, no one got to treat her brothers like idiots but her, and admiring the pointed way the little filly was trying to tell the idiot off. She muttered and shook her head, stepping out of the bushes. "What are you doing, Silly?" she asked, using her own personal little nickname for her winged brother.

Silverwing beamed spotting his sister and bounded over to her, "There you are! I have been looking all over for you, sis! Where were you hiding?" He tilted his head and looked back at the other filly. "And...I um, might have mistaken her for you somewhere along the way. You guys are about the same size and all. Honest mistake" he assured them both and flashed his winningest smile, which on the little colt resembled more of a cheesy grin.

Dragana wrinkled up her petite nose in annoyance. He had confused Her with That? she thought to herself. It was ludicrous. She was a fair young maid with smooth sloping horns and a delicate mixture of creamy and ebony colors in her coat. This little girl was just cold and...awkward. Ungainly really, especially with those foppish wings on her back. Really, it was clear the rustic pair were siblings. She could only imagine the sister was just as dense as the brother. It seemed gazing off longingly into the sunset was a joy to be pursued another day. For right now...she just needed a way to get rid of these two.

Sekkei gave her brother a disapproving stare as she processed what he had said. He had mistaken HER for... this... little.... thing? "Yes," she said, with so much sarcasm in her tone that even he should have been able to pick up on it. "I can see how you would mistake us. We look oh so much alike." Pointedly, she rustled her wings, causing her feathers to fluff and settle noticeably. Then she pointedly eyed the other filly's cream coat before tossing her short, blue mane. "We even have the same coloring. Idiot." This last was muttered more to herself than her brother. With her mother, she wouldn't have dared uttered a disparaging remark, but the, of the whole thick headed clan, Frost was the least stupid. She returned her attention to the filly. "I apologize for my brother's mistake. He's..." she trailed off, realizing there wasn't a single redeeming thing she could say about him.

"Very sorry," Silverwing finished for his sister. "And thanks, Sekkei," he said completely oblivious to her muttered remark. "I knew you'd understand. It's a completely honest mistake," he reaffirmed and added. "It oculd happen to anyone. Now, back to the most important question of the hour," he turned to the behorned filly, "Would You care to join us," he looked pointedly between himself and his sister before looking back to the filly. "For the best game of hide and seek ever, of All Time!" He might have laid that bit on a bit thick, but come on - this was a great game!

"Excuse me?" Dragana asked certain she could not have heard the foal correctly. At any juncture of their already far too long conversation. Just how dense was this fool? He didn't even seem to take note when his sister insulted him. Not that she could blame the filly for making such an obvious statement, but really, such efforts were wasted when their target was unaware of them. and then to further task her, harass her - she had already made it plain that she wanted nothing to do with him. What would it take to make this little fool take a hint?

"Leave her alone, Dunderwing," Sekkei scolded, frowning at him. What was he doing? They didn't know this filly, and she was fairly certain she didn't like her. Why would they want her to play with them? Not that she was really playing. But if this other filly started playing... it might actually end up being a game... She shook her head. "She doesn't want to play something as challenging as hide and seek."

"Oh," Silverwing said softly and lowered his head. That of course made sense. His sister was proving herself to be the best hide and seek player he had ever seen (it is not important that he had only seen her and their brother and their brother usually refused to play). He could understand not wanting to take on that challenge if the little filly wasn't related to them. He would still play of course because if he didn't then Sekkei wouldn't have anyone to play with and that wouldn't be right. Besides she really was such a good hider and that took commitment.

Dragana nearly choked as she responded, "Excuse me?!!" That wasn't the response she truly wanted to give. The response she truly wanted to give was not ladylike and thus could not be delivered in mixed company (but if it could be expressed it would rhyme with "shmut the smell"). "Too complicated?" she demanded. "For what? A single celled organism? You must be joking! And it's not a very funny joke at that..."
