He was on the moon. He was on fire. Jarosite was the most awake he'd been in months. It felt as though his blood was singing, and by Metallia was he enjoying it. There was a spring in his step, something he hadn't had in almost three years. He teleported into the apartment, powered down, and strode into the bedroom.

He smiled wide at Nina and pulled her into a tight embrace, kissing her hard on the mouth. "Metallia I've missed you..." He kissed across her face and down her neck and back up, nuzzling her cheeks with his kisses. He was the most alive he'd been in months, and came to the realization that he'd neglected her much lately. "My sweet angel, I have neglected you. What would you have your prince do?"

Merric kissed her eyes and set her down, bowing deeply to her. Excessive, but with all the energy in his veins, it really wasn't surprising.
