Unusually, her father knew what her mother was and knew what their child would be, but, he took it as a good omen and stayed faithful until he passed of old age. For centuries, her mother raised her alone, teaching her about her heritage. Now, her mother lives in seclusion, guarding a shrine and bringing fortune to those who pray.
Two centuries ago, she was arranged to a male of her kind as the sole daughter of a lineage that produced some of the most powerful of her kind. She dutifully married him and bore him several children, but grew restless as she was forced into a union with a gender she felt no attraction to. They’d grown to love another, but, bearing him children was becoming more and more of a chore. A century ago, he confronted her about this and she confessed that, though she loved him, she preferred her own gender. He was certainly surprised by this revelation, but happily let her roam in search of a freedom and happiness that she deserved, providing she did return from time to time that their children not forget her. Since, she has travelled and only just returned to doing so after a year spent with her family.

1↔ Morphing - She can take one of her three primary forms which have no alternate versions, True form, an Anthromorphic Fox with nine tails, a large bestial fox, again, with nine tails, or an orb of spiritual nature, intangible and translucent. She may also turn into a hybrid form, where she appears as a human with nine tails, her tails being the only un-alterable thing about her appearance then, or a fully human form, where she can change anything she wants as long as it is biologically possible to occur naturally in humans. In no form is she able to change gender.
2↔ Phasing - The ability to pass through solid objects. If she is in her spirit form, she may do this instantly and without cooldown, otherwise, it takes a one post prep time and a three post cooldown.
3↔ Illusionary Projection - Able to create illusions that affect only visually. (At-will)
4↔ Audible Phantoms - Illusions that can affect both vision and hearing. (At-will)
5↔ Offensive Mirage - Illusions that affect sight, hearing, and smell. (0 p / 2 cd)
6↔ Foxfire - A blue illusionary flame that still harms a target. It appears as a blue-ish flickering orb of light and will not ignite anything other than what the Kitsune wishes.
7↔ Illusionary Dimension - Literally creates an imaginary world around a target, affecting all senses that moves with them. It is not possible for this world to harm them, but it is possible for them to be harmed by events in the real world, this also is so complex, she is unable to physically attack while maintaining it.

1↔ Foxfire Barrage - Summons dozens of foxfires that become corporeal, able to burn environment and target alike. They can hone in on her target and burn until she dismisses them or loses focus.
2↔ Kitsune Behemoth - An Illusionary form visible only to her enemies that is very much real to them. She can cause grievous wounds and even affect the environment around her, though, only her enemies can be affected. (basically, illusionary dimension only, she can attack here and it has it’s own physics that affect her target and environment within the dimension, leaving the real environment untouched, though, those looking at them would see just her and her enemy and their own physical movements) This technique tires her quickly and requires her full attention be in the illusionary dimension.
3↔ Ancestral Spirits - The spirits of her ancestors come to her aid, boosting her chi and power to unimaginable levels. This can only last a short time (up to 4 posts) or she’d cause severe harm to her body. There is little hope for one to stand toe-to-toe with any Kitsune using this ability, let alone one with nine tails. She is nearly untouchable in this state, her ancestors immediately guarding her from attacks. But, once she reverts, she is extremely tired and weakened. If one could last running until she burns out, or attacks with a weapon designed to repel or seal spirits, they have hope to defeat her.
