SDRP Member Feature
From its humble beginnings, SDRP has sought to provide roleplayers with thorough mentorship within a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. And, while we are a “school” of sorts, we see our members as more than just students. It isn’t enough to have a passion for the written word or a love for the game; it’s to possess an insatiable desire to improve, to tap into hidden potential, to harness and own the ability to create the impossible. Here, we've witnessed worlds molded, characters fleshed out, and adventures woven more times than we can possibly count--arriving by vehicles of tireless imagination, leaving deep impressions in their wake. They go by many names, but their goal is essentially the same: to tell a story.
But just who are these unsung masters of their craft?
We, at SDRP, would like to finally shed some light on those responsible behind the emerald curtain and show our gratitude by presenting a monthly featurette, dedicated to you, our fellow roleplayers. For we are nothing without you. heart
- April 2015: Kitsuneko Suzuki

- Thornwick: Tell us about your very first role-play and what you got out of that experience:
Kitsuneko Suzuki
First role play experience. My first role play experience started out with typing out what my character did in or moving in ** (exp: *Move to the window*) and it was that simple but as I looked around. I had learned how to put better explain what my character was doing.
Thornwick: What are some of the challenges you face during a role-play?
Kitsuneko Suzuki
Challenges I faced were finding role plays that pulled my interest and as well as ones that looked like I'd be able to play well with others and that was hard to come by. The next challenge that I faced beside trying to better myself as a role player in the role I play. I also faced the task of creating a story line that would bring others in to help me get better. Here is the first role play I created The first trip to earth, yes done under another avi.
Thornwick: How's your experience in SDRP so far?
Kitsuneko Suzuki
Before joining SDRP I was always looking for more advanced role players because I learned better and could push myself to do better. I can't remember how I found this guild or if it was the guild that found me. My experience in the guild has been small but I am looking forward to taking more of the classes and learning more from them as well as all my experience with all of the current one on one role plays I'm in.
Thornwick: Any advice you'd like to give our budding role-players?
Kitsuneko Suzuki
My advice for others is to role players is to take advantage of the classes and join in on the events this is the best and the most active guild I've been a part of.
Thornwick: Just for fun: Ducklings or chicks? And why?
Kitsuenko Suzuki
Okay duckling or chick, that is a bit weird I love animals and it is hard to choose between the two as a pet I guess I would choose a chick because of how soft and cute they are, but if it was picking one to role play I would choose duckling mostly for the fact that duck can fly and chickens can't.
Thank you, Kitsuneko Suzuki, for indulging us with this interview. For those of you pressing to know more about this month's rising roleplaying star, feel free to stick around and chat! Stay tuned for next month’s member feature. It just might be you!
