She can't let herself be seen with so much as a hair out of place or a spot of dirt on her flank. Whether this stems from low self-confidence or vanity is uncertain, but her obsession with keeping herself looking pristine and presentable has driven her to believing that other Soquili who do not keep up with the same hygienic habits are unworthy of being in her presence and glory.
That's how it started, anyway. She never wanted to kill anyone and in the beginning, she didn't even remember that she'd done anything wrong. She would go out for a stroll and find someone who was on the "less than perfect" scale of things. She would offer assistance in making them pretty, but when they refused, she would become more distressed and it would fade to black. When she would wake up, she would be covered in red, far from where she had been previously, with no inclination to how she'd gotten there and why there was sticky crimson on her coat. She would rush off to wash the blood from her body before she stopped to dwell on it.
Only recently, she's begun to remember and remembering is painful. She doesn't want to be a monster, she just wanted to live in a perfect world. She's scared of seeing other Soquili for fear of what she might do to them, so she tries to hide herself away and isolate herself from others, despite desiring for someone to protect her and somehow accept her despite the horrible things she's done in the name of perfection.

About Character (optional) : Yvaine is a pleasant and fairly charming individual, one who is generally polite and friendly to all that she meets - unless given a reason not to be. While a tad impish and one with a penchant for mischievousness and poking some fun, she's also a level headed individual - except when thrust into situations she has no experience. Then she struggles and panics. She's also a little bit vain and will quite happily accept a compliment or two whilst calling you a flatterer. Long silences are something that doesn't bother her much, rather she's come to be quite content to just sit silently and enjoy someone's company (butterflies aren't very talkative companions you see). She was part of the kawani village that got all but destroyed during the great fire. It was a harrowing experience, one that she's yet to fully recover from. It has left her prone to bouts of melancholy, ones she sometimes struggles to get out if. For it was during the fire that her two legger perished, leaving Yvaine on her own. Once the fire was stopped, and after helping begin rebuild the village, Yvaine set off on her own. After all, there was nothing left for her there. She's been traveling ever since.
Recently, however, Yvaine has joined the herd of traveling healers and has taken up rank as one of their healers. Finally she's beginning to feel like she has a place and purpose once more... Perhaps maybe even a home.

About Character Malis is a stubborn mare who loves to travel and is a shaman in her old village of Darkspear. Once a respected adult in her village, she left after a childhood friend came on to her a little strongly. After he ended up receiving the position she had been vying for she decide to seek her own fortune elsewhere. She came to the Kawani lands to learn about the soquili there and ended up staying put. Malis and Immi created the Willowglen Herd and they live in a clearing in the woods surrounded by willows. Malis is very wise though she chooses not to show it, preferring to act a little more dense so that others will explain things to her easier. She is a good listener and is one to go to for advice though she does have unusual ways to explain herself. Quite fun loving and very social, the troll mare enjoys to chat with other soquili to find out what makes them tic and learn new customs. However her more negative traits had been showing through with her nonacceptance of the newer additions to the family. She did not forgive Tai'jin from mating with a Kelpie and the resulting children did not bare much resemblance to the Horde. Zandali ran away after over hearing Malis and Tai'jin fight about her birth and Tai'jin left to go look for her shortly after. Malis had become greatly introverted and grouchy, even to the point at snapping at the rest of the herd. Where once, the others used to come to her for advice, they started to shy away in fear of her unpredictable reactions. This changed, however, when she tracked down Kifo once more and went on a journey with him. The result was a very heavy troll which prompted her return. She birthed three beautiful children, who she was very proud of. She dotes a lot on the elder son Sen'jin and her youngest son Rokkhan made her fiercely proud when the birth of their trollish kids extending the family line. With their birth she has become a little more softer around the edges and she looked to the south to where her other granddaughter had disappeared. Maybe one day she will go on a spirit journey of her own to bring back her granddaughter, now accepting her as part of the family. Recently Malis has been calming back down, accepting the new comers to the herd with open arms. She has become more interested in what makes others different instead of protecting her own lines. With the growth of the Horde she has become more of the busy body matchmaker, matriarch of a strong and numerous family.

Existing Pet Pet Name: Ithillún Pet Species/Race: Mutant Cerynei (technically part Ulun'suti, but her mother was made before them and is listed as a mutant). (Uncert)
About Character (optional) : Ithillún is an oddball among her family, though both of her twisted sisters are, as well. Lún was very, very quiet as a foal, learning everything she could: how flowers worked, how bees worked, how trees worked, how her mother's and sisters' "voices of the forest" seemed to work. All she wanted to do was watch, wait, and learn, before finally judging whether or not she would pursue something further. Silent most of the time but extremely playful with her family, Lún's world was rocked when she and her twisted sisters were attacked during playtime. The purewalkers struck at the heart of the family for a second time, and history was repeated. Lún became even quieter after the attack; her views of right and wrong became concrete. Her silence, however, had a new purpose: rather than allowing herself to absorb information as wholly as possible, it became a defense mechanism. Being silent gave her time to judge whether something (or someone) was "good" or "bad," in her limited view of each. Her judgments were based on her observations, as much on the way someone acts as the way someone talks.
She has discovered, however, much to her disdain, that some individuals are unavoidable or do not need judgment, as they are inherently pure. Those who are unavoidable are the ones who insist on talking to her despite her silence, and eventually goad her enough to get her to talk back. Those who do not need judgment are those that are "pure" and "good" in Lún's eyes: foals, her family, and flowers. Lún has a connection with flowers that she has been unable to replicate with other soquili, or even Cerynei. To her, they are perfectly good, without flaws. One of her favorite things to do is stare at them, just to absorb their beauty. She hates bugs, as they defile the purity of her flowers, but there are a few select species that she does not shoo away, thanks to her friend Retrieve, who showed her that bugs can be just as interesting as flowers.
Due to Lún's relationship with flowers, her relationship with the Gatherers and her mother is sometimes strained, as they all pick flowers, whether it be to dry for a variety of uses or for ceremonies. However, she has begun to cultivate a garden with the help of her sisters, the Gatherers, and with Retrieve's knowledge of bugs - the garden will minimize the Gatherers' need to pick wild flowers.
Lún is currently her apprenticed to her mother. She may be found wandering at night sometimes; her glowing flowers and eyes allow her to stay up with good vision. Unlike her sisters, Lún is aware that she has excellent hearing - her "voice of the forest" is silent. Instead, she must concentrate very hard to access the part of her that has retained her mother's hearing, as her own trait for exceptional hearing is somewhat diminished.
In short, Ithillún is very perceptive and has strong opinions about the difference between "good" and "evil," or at least her ideas of the two. Generally either silent or very quiet, she usually only speaks or allows her playful nature to come out when around family or friends, and she does not talk to strangers. Touch her flowers and she'll hiss at you. Or something equally menacing. (The flowers that grow on her head are cahaba lilies.)

About Character (optional) : Tomislav is brutal. Born and raised in a Kalona tribe, he was taught to use his abilities and is an unashamed hunter. He believes in Kalona superiority and will gladly fight to prove the ideals of others wrong. He thinks that cunning and spying are useless and would never deign to use them in battle, as he prefers brute strength and the strength of his breed - he knows how to use his magic and that is something he's proud of. Unlike the inaction of information gathering, his Kalona power brings others to their knees. He is cruel, especially to halfbreeds, often insulting them before they have noticed he is there and engaging them. Pure species who have proven themselves worthy of his attention don't bother him, but he doesn't talk to them, either.

Likes: Anything icy/leafy/ice on leaves, spiderwebs, ghosts, blue, white, black, skeletal, flowers, frost, nature/season themes, extra fluff (beards/facial hair on girls is fine). Butterflies, glowy things, pupil-less eyes (see Tomislav), deep purples. Anything related to the Greek myth/Classical era in general.
Dislikes: Bees/wasps, orcas, needles, clowns, dolls (Maho is scared of these). Neck fins/spines in place of hair (bald is fine). Super bright reds, yellows, pinks not on flowers.

About Character (optional) : Hartekellion is a proud, young warrior, inexperienced in the ways of the world outside of Gigage Awoyeni, his place of birth. Exploration has taught him much, but ten questions are born from one answer found. However, he is vehemently dedicated toward doing what is Good and Right in the world, and actively searches for causes he feels worthy of helping. One such is the hunting of Skinwalkers, cursed and pure. He also believes in a strict code of conduct surrounding the idea of Justice. For example, if someone should steal food from another, even if it is to feed their starving family, that thief must receive punishment.
