When Leona was born, her parents felt as if they were blessed for the first time. They were country workers on the outskirt of Oto, and were consumed in music festivals and farming. Leona was kidnapped before she could ever fully remember what it was like being there. She would never remember the long fields, the music or illusions that melted into every step. She wouldn't remember, but she also would always know where she came from. How? It was written in her bones. Quite literally.
When she was kidnapped, she was shipped off to Strainos Town, a shipping port in the Fire Country. She grew up a slave, always had been one. Her owners was a sadistic couple with scalpels, which made her go through the majority of her life consumed with pain and thats all. Her owners, Yuki and Tohru didn't neglect her in food or education, finding both of them equally important. If her grades dropped, so did her nutrition. This was around the time she met Adam, her childhood friend that she had always stood by.
When Adam developed his Rinnegan, most children in the school turned away from him, but Leona stayed. Why? Because there was really no other choice for her at that moment, it was either him or a band of fake friends that would never succumb to anything but selling fish. She wanted to be a ninja.

This adds to the irresistible genjutsu to weaken the resistance of foes. It also magnifies the intensity of the genjutsu; they seem more realistic, and can provoke reactions from the body easier. CHAKRA CONTROL -- Your field genjutsu (such as Bringer of Darkness) may be activated on targets you select. You can choose to not infiltrate the system of certain shinobi.

XXXWEAKNESSES WEAK BODIES -- Genjutsu users have frail bodies compared to most other ninja. Although they can endure more pain than your average human, the amount of pain they can sustain before death is significantly lower than other classes.
STATS -- Genjutsu users have some of the lowest stats out there. They're below average, almost in the ridiculously weak stage. They also have significantly few styles at all ranks, so they're almost useless physically compared to the rest of the shinobi world. XXXBONUSES Genjutsu training is reduced by 2 posts Genjutsu users can learn limitless amounts of genjutsu Enemies of lower rank than you cannot Kai out of your genjutsu
XXXLIMITATIONS Two taijutsu styles, one at Jounin and one at S You get one Element at Gennin, and the second at Jounin You can completely master 2 elements No puppetry or sealing; you may learn medical jutsu Jounin can learn (and master) 1 weapon style, S ranks can learn (and master) 2 weapon styles
XXXUNTAPPED POWER Genjutsu users have a choice between that untapped power and this second one. For enemies who don't even use genjutsu, the genjutsu class may instead enter a world of slight freedom in terms of how they move. The genjutsuists may simply edit the perceived reality of their movements; they can move faster, hit harder, though not outrageously so in either aspect (+2 to both stats for the duration). Along with the increase of stats, their movements seem hard to follow; it's like the images leap from one frame to a different one, and so fighting them in close combat can be pretty confusing like this. This is to emphasize how Genjutsu users can use their genjutsu prowess to make up for their physical shortcomings. This lasts for a maximum of nine posts (which can be split through the fight).
