Antiope was not the sort of girl who stuck with one specific spot when it came to training. The whole park was her playground in a sense. Whether it was the trees or the soccer fields, or even the literal playground, the Mantis Senshi was easily able to find some sort of exercise to keep her focused.
Today she had picked a clearing that was near a couple flower beds. It was scenic, except that the little senshi was not there to admire the flora.
She was there to train.
Her small form moved carefully through key motions found in this style of martial arts, perfecting her muscle memory as best as she could. It was only once she had pressed her sleeve-covered hand out for a vastly slowed down strike that she noticed a girl in front of her.
"...Oh... hello!" she easily chimed, still holding her position firmly.

Talia frequented this particular park, because it had good air, nice flowers and a great beam of sunlight for when she wanted to pose prettily for all the passer byers.
With what little time she had, it was also an excellent place to be alone because there weren't many kids on this side of the park (most stuck to the area with the playground) and it was relatively out of the way. Tucked into a tiny corner of Destiny City, that's what she always said.
She had her fans in her purse and was intending to do some exercise (or maybe meditation if her bones didn't feel up to it by the time she got to her favorite spot).
Lo and behold her favorite spot was occupied by some bizarre jumping .... thing and cause quite a bit of fuss while she did it too. The girl called out to her and Talia probably didn't do a good job of keeping her annoyance off her face. "Hello," she said shortly, tugging on her purse straps. She made no intention of interrupting the girl, but neither did she look like she was going to leave.
It was also a frustrating position because from the outfit Talia could tell she was a senshi, but couldn't break her disguise to say so. Quite a predicament indeed.

Antiope was quite dense. Even with the tone and expression, she failed to understand that there was any issue at all. Having just done a jab in extremely slow motion, her attacking sleeve-covered hand was retreating, though her alternate one was swiping out in the similar slow-motion manner.
"I would ask if you are here to watch me train... but you don't know me and I don't know you... so that's probably not why you are here."
Did the Mantis Senshi have any predictions for this girl's presence?
Not so much.
"You are welcome to keep watching though, I don't mind! We could have some tea afterwards if you want!"
Another slow motion jab completed and retreating, the girl's body began to slowly swivel as a leg began to extend towards what seemed like an ankle-kick.

"Actually," Talia interjected, "I was coming here to get some exercise in." She watched the girl's motions, mixed parts offput and impressed by the girl's motions. It reminded her too much of the patrolling she was supposed to be doing but too busy to complete lately.
There was a tiny pause as Talia waited for the girl to clear out, and when she didn't Talia offered up a small, "Alone, that is."

After her ankle kick had extended as far as it was going to, the short senshi held her feet in the position before bringing her sleeves up to her head to scratch in puzzlement.
"You needed to exercise in this specific spot? I mean, there's plenty of room for both of us... I could move to that side... but... I was here first..."
Bringing her hands down and seeming to return her hands back to their poised positions, she rolled her shoulders for a shrug. "That's weird... I mean, whatever... but you're weird!"
With that, she began to resume her movements, seeming to swivel into the opposite direction for another slow-paced ankle kick. It might not have seemed like much, but she was slowly making her way to the opposite side of the clearing.

"Hm. I guess you're right ..." Talia had to admit, miss Antiope had a point. It was a little silly that she was trying to claim this spot for her own, and maybe a little rude of her to assume Antiope would move when the other girl had been there first.
But .... then again, it was her day off! All she wanted was some relaxing dancing, maybe some yoga or kickboxing (depending on her mood- either way- lots of exercising for Talia Chu!). Antiope was now getting in the way of those plans, and it was sort of disheartening.
Then Antiope had the nerve to call her weird! Weird!! Talia was many things, snobbish and perfect among the list of adjectives, but weird was not among them! Weird was reserved for the people she picked on, the losers and the assholes!
When Antiope started clearing the area, that was when a little bit of guilt set in. She had essentially just kicked this woman off of a piece of dirt. Then Talia's competitive side kicked in, and she declared herself the winner and the just one of this little spat, and her self-righteousness had her turning up her nose in victory.
Seeing as that was settled, she finally exercised in peace.
