A fountain sits full of water with four streams flowing from the sides. A merchant stands by the fountain with a tiny stand lined with canteens. Used to stock up some water for any journeys outside the village or into the Jagged Scar.

Kaz raced up to the fountain cupping his hand and splashing some water on his face. Being in such dry climate all the time took its toll. Turning to the vendor and placing 200 ryo on the counter taking two empty canteens. Quickly he began filling them in the water. Quickly tucking his into his jacket. Turning towards Kaori he tossed her a full canteen of water. "Ready when you are." With a slight smile on his face.

Kaori laughed as she and Nova walked up to the fountain. The woman caught the canteen thrown at her and smirked, "You've been in the desert for how long now?" She teased as she clipped the canteen to her hip and turned to leave.
The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.
Kaz smirked for a moment. "Just my whole life my lady. I just know how dangerous this place can be. I visit it often and many times almost lost my life." Turning towards the Jagged Scar he began to enter the location.

During her walk Circe happened upon the fountain. She decided to drop the 100 ryo for a canteen. She added it to her pack after getting it filled and walked right along.
