:: Good thing that Sekan took a step back because Lyric nearly tripped over himself with a startled squeak and whirled about to look up at the dem-god. His mask the never changing visage of a smile with closed eyes, though his own were wide behind it. Date? Venezia? Him?! He stood there, completely at a loss for words for the first time in his life. Swallowing hard he'd gesture with his hands, as if about to say something, but nothing would come out! Such was his state of shock. Giving up on trying to speak he'd jerk his head into a bob of agreement, yes, he would speak with the Demi-God, if only he could find where his usually vocal self had run off to! As it was, he was lucky to get out a squeak! ::

:: Lyric was completely beside himself, squirming under the scrutiny of his Beloved's Demi-God. He had a knot in his throat that he tried to gulp down, a cool sweat forming on his palms as he felt the tremble of nerves vibrate through him. He'd never in a million years think that he'd be given even the slightest chance to be with the one that he loved so deeply, and yet, here he stood, messing it up he was certain.

What did he think of his Lord, "I....I....I..." he'd stammer out, giving a shake of his head, trying to clear it, cursing himself to pull it together... "He is the world to me to tell the truth, since the first days of my youth..." he'd speak in a low tone, twisting his hands worriedly before realizing what he was doing and snapping them back to his sides. "The first time I that I laid eyes upon him, heard his laughter and his voice, I knew right then that my heart had lost any choice. He makes me smile, his world was full of laughs. It is only joy to me that he brings and it hurts me so to see him trekking this darkest of paths...." he'd give a shake of his head, biting his lip behind his mask, "He never should have been left alone, loved any less then forever I cannot condone." He knew he was going on about the Lord's break up with his mate, but he just could not understand how anyone could ever -not- love Venezia. "I care not if he finds love with me or with another, just so long as he is happy and his smile returns and his sense of humor will recover."

Smiling softly behind the mask, his head lowering and his hands clasping behind his back as he'd speak in his sing-song voice, "I love to dance and to lift my voice in song. Though only alone so you not knowing of it is not wrong. I enjoy admiring my Love," he'd give a little laugh, "I cannot help myself by the stars above. You may think it is strange but it is enough for me. To watch him prance and play about the carnival makes me most happy." yes, he was a little stalker and he knew it. "Oh! and I love all the rides and games the carnival has to thrill us to the bone, save for the freak show, I leave that place well enough alone."

Blinking behind the mask, he'd have to give a little laugh, why did he want to be with his Lord? "In truth I think it would be all a dream, I think that is why voice seemed to run away from me with a scream." tilting his head he'd reply, "Dear Sekan, I want only for our Lord's happiness, forgive me for all my sappiness. But like I had said before, as long as he his loved well and truly, I would want nothing more."

He'd pause for a moment, as if in confusion. "Whether is is that I am with him or not, isn't it up to all of us to make certain that the Carnevale della Fine thrives and isn't left to rot? Through our love and our worship of him is a good start, but.... if I was with him... the first thing I would try to do is help him mend his heart...." that would help improve the Carnivale is his mind at least... he'd look up at Sekan, feeling ever so self-conscious and bare before his eyes. Though he did understand why they had to be careful and check everyone. They couldn't risk their Lord being hurt again and he agreed with that absolutely.::

:: Lyric's smile was hidden behind his mask, he was always looking for Venezia, so the announcement that he was, would probably not come as a surprise. He'd not thought that he was being modest, he was just nervous and well... maybe that came out and made it see he was so. He'd flourish in a bow to Sekan before turning about, his ears searching and his ears keen for any word of where his Lord may be at the moment. That's how he tracked down the Carnival God, looking for awed faces and listening to the whispers or shouts of excitement whenever someone had seen his graceful presence. So he'd weave his way through the crowd until it was he'd find his Lord, he would not be too surprised if he stumbled across him first... He had a knack for tracking his Love down and had managed to pop up on him a couple times when no one was aware of him being anywhere in the area. ::

:: He would be content to just gaze upon his Lord if he were too busy to speak, though at the moment he looked to be lost in his thoughts. Lyric meandered about the base of the booth, not really trying to get Venezia's attention because he seemed to be working something out in his head. He got himself a stick of bright blue cotton candy, pushing his mask up slightly to let the floss sugar melt on his tongue until his Lord noticed him. Smiling brightly behind the mask he'd sweep into a full bow, "Yes my Lord, I have sought your presence. But such a bearing denotes deep thought and hopefully pleasance?" taking another nibble of the cotton candy as he'd gaze up at Him.::

:: Popping another bit of fluff into his mouth he'd look up and down the busy midway... frowning at the sadness in his Lord's voice, "I am sorry that she has misplaced herself, perhaps this job can be diverted to someone else besides yourself?" He'd dance about his God as he'd appear beside him, giving a delighted giggle, " To and fro, to and fro, no one knows where next You shall go!" was Venezia the only one in the world that didn't know of his love for Him? Even if he'd already admitted as much? Probably... Though Lyric would calm a bit and speak plainly, "On my mind, it's always you. I wanted to see if I could be someone you could talk to. Forgive me Lord if I have crossed the line, but I just want to make sure you are fine." ::

:: He'd preen and squeal under the attention, raising up on his toes at the patting, "Many don't, but there are some that do. A word for aid and they would so themselves true." giving a nod of his head and then considering a moment, "I would offer to look over the midway, that is if people would listen to what I say." tilting his head back to look up at Venezia, holding out the cotton candy to him, "True enough we all have our dark and moody days, where we feels like things go wrong in so many ways. But if it is your need anything at all from me, I will do it, this you will see." ::

:: His heart skipped in his chest when he'd say that he'd been sweet, beaming up at his God as he'd look around the carnival, Lyric looked about himself with a small frown unseen behind his mask. He really couldn't think of anything to make the Carnival better, nothing at least that would not come to anyone's mind anyway. Clean the place up a bit, new paint and fresh prizes. His finger tapping to the ever present smile on his mask... "Hmmm..." and then a light bulb flared inside his head,
"Ah! I know just the thing! A grand re-opening with parades and fireworks and fights with crazy string! Confetti and candy thrown to the masses by carnies would work too. oh and maybe a grand Ball of a gala dedicated to you! With food and grand fountains of drinks glittering bright! And artful gymnasts and dancers twirling from silken ropes to amaze and delight! Magicians and bands to mystify and entertain those that attend. So much excitement and fun will make all hearts ascend!" Looking to his Lord after verbalizing all with flourishing arms and dancing legs, hoping he'd like his idea a little at least. ::
