Spring Showers Prompt 1 Solo point After the frigid chill of the harsh winter had left Tendaji, it seemed that most were happy to just return to their normal routines, though the normal routine didn’t seem to be what the weather had in mind. It wasn’t long before almost everywhere noticed the way that the winter air had seemed to push precipitation onto the land in its place. Rain flowed seemingly non-stop, reaching all the areas of Tendaji, even frozen Zena saw its share of rain, though the temperatures were still much too cold to support such a thing and rain turned to hail, which froze over the ground.
The critters of Tendaji only wanted to seek shelter from their flooded homes and the wet downpour that surrounded them. They found their way into homes, huts, sheds, anywhere that could stay dry - and preferrably warm.
Roll 2D4 Roll 1: The type of familiar in the area you encounter. Tale || 1: Virma Virma (pl. Virma) - These tan-colored, grub-type bugs burrow themselves into the trees of Tale and live there for most of their lives. They come out for a month towards the end of summer to lay their eggs on the large leaves of the trees they spend their lives in. Their mouths work as a drill and harden at a very early age in order to gain the protection of the trees they inhabit. Seriffs and kinfa use these insects as a primary food source as they can reach nearly a foot in length and remain very plump soon after birth.
Roll 2: How many are encountered. 1 || 5

Things had gotten serious, and Niadra had bailed. She hadn't done it on purpose, but she had done it. When she had finally decided to start a life with Nyiim, really settle down and maybe even start a family together, she left. She wasn't sure what had come over her at first, but she just felt like it was something that she had to do. Sure she loved Nyiim, he was her first love, but for whatever reason she felt like she couldn't stay with him. That by staying with him and creating something new she would be losing something of herself, something she wasn't willing to give up. So one night when the pull to leave was too big for her to ignore she had done it. She wrote him a note about how sorry she was and that she had to do this for herself, and both her and Jania left. It was necessary, that she knew, and she hoped that one day that Nyiim would be able to forgive her. That day they would become friends once again. At least this was her wish. That and that he would find someone better than her to make him happy, for he deserved it.
It had been weeks since this happened, and yet it still bothered her. Although she was still dancing, she would never stop that, it wasn't with the same zest as it once was. She knew that she would have to go back home at some point, go back and talk to him. She just couldn't live with herself otherwise. Luckily for her the troupe she was traveling with was headed back towards where Nyiim was. This would be her last show before the two were reunited and she would see first hand what kind of damage she had really done. Closing her eyes she shook her head, taking her mind off the negative thoughts she was having and mentally preparing herself for the dance she was about to do. This was her element, and she would not let the viewers down.
-----
The show was wonderful, as always, the crowd cheering her on until she felt she could not dance anymore. But now it was over, and the natural high that dancing always gave her was starting to fade. It was late and she wanted nothing more than to go get in bed and rest some. They had a long day of traveling day when she woke up and she wanted to be well rested. "Come Jaina." she called as she patted her hip, the raptrix quickly coming to her side. The two of them headed towards her caravan, stopping every so often to talk to the passersby that wanted to congratulate her.
As they neared their caravan she heard a sound, one that was both familiar and unfamiliar. She frowned and looked down at Jania who was tilting her head in confusion. It wasn't very loud, but it was loud enough to be something and not nothing. Opening the door five Virma at once started crawling all over her feet, causing her to scream loudly. "Get away from me!" she shirked in a voice that was very unlike her normal one as she danced from foot to food. Jaina started barking at once, circling Niadra as the girl tried not to step on the bugs but also keep them from getting on her feet. She wasn't sure how many of the creatures there were but she knew there were more than she cared to have around her!
Jaina's barking combined with Niadra's screams brought the attention of the people awake, and some of the ones that were previously asleep, and they all came running. Although they came, once there no one really did much more than laugh. Jania ate one of the bugs, shaking her head, and finally Niadra gave up on trying to not kill the bugs and stepped on the last four. She was out of breath and looked at the people gathered sheepishly. "I'm sorry... I don't like bugs..." she trailed off, really sorry for calling so much attention to herself for such a silly reason.
Her apology was accepted and soon everyone dispersed, heading away to do whatever ti was they had been doing before she had screamed. As for Niadra she was now both tired and embarrassed. "Come on Jania, let's go to sleep. Hopefully tomorrow will be a much better day." With that the pair of them went into the caravan, not a sound heard from them for the rest of the night.
