The tropical gardens, all housed within five indoor glass structures, had only opened three weeks ago and he hadn’t been able to attend it’s opening nor show up till earlier in the day. It was because he was still stressed that he had essentially broken in, even if all he’d done was teleport himself inside, and disable – break – the video cameras. He’d make a personal donation, or perhaps one in his mother’s name, to make up for it. But he couldn’t be caught in here. He needed the peace and quiet, he didn’t count the sounds of nature as noise, in order to just relax and unwind. There was still snow on the ground and no plants or flowers in sight, aside from the ones sold for Valentine ’s Day – god he hated that day, aside from what one could find indoors like here. This was the one place he could see plants, and flowers, not associated with that annoying day and those associated with the upcoming Easter holiday.
The sounds of water, fish swimming inside the ponds, little water fountains scattered about, and the scattered sounds of bugs and birds settled his mind as he sat himself on a small wooden bridge that went over one of the ponds, this one seemed to meander through the glass structure as if it were some real river and not a man made pond, filled with koi. Shifting a bit he unclasped his cape and let it fall down behind him, whilst sitting on it, and his coat came off next followed shortly after by his gloves. One booted leg was drawn up toward his chest as his fingers raked through ashen hair. He’d have to bring Lily here, during the day light hours, once she was released from the hospital; she’d like this place.
Slate eyes roamed about the area, taking in the dark greens, trees, and the few flowers that were open (night blooming flowers) that filled the general area surrounding him. The fish were then looked down to and for a moment he considered trailing his finger tips over the waters surface but refrained from doing so, he didn’t trust how clean the water was.
After some moments of silence, where the General spent the moments gazing down at the pond and the swimming fish, he finally pushed himself to his feet with a huff of breath. Lily wasn’t even the biggest issue facing him – not by a long shot. He still had the tea shop going and gathering energy from people – civilians – and he couldn’t just shut it down. It would raise questions, ones he wasn’t about to answer or even attempt to answer. He was surprised Mica hadn’t found him and questioned him yet about Acrucis and having Mica help keep the senshi alive, he knew how to answer it but he didn’t know if she’d buy it. If she didn’t buy it she’d surely kick it up to the higher ups and that would do him no good. Fingers tugged at stands of blond hair as he let out a frustrated sound, a mix of a growl and a heavy sigh.
He also still had the issue of preventing the future from happening but how? He was still tinkering with the idea fo poising the energy he delivered to Metallia but he had to know if it would work. He just wasn't all that keen on using himself as a guinea pig again, like he had when working on those energy drinks. He didn't care to spend time hung over his toilet again as he suffered the consequences of his own concoctions but he wouldn't, and in this case couldn't, subject someone else to the products of his tinkerings. For a moment the red hot waves of anger and frustration washed through him, causing him to lash out with a fist and strike a tree trunk - hard.
