Backdated to the night of the NYE Rescue.Breathing was a chore Helicon wasn't sure he could stand to do much longer as they made their way away from the chaos of the battle and into the night. After some walking, it seemed like the obvious thing to do was go to Lydia's house, but his rescuers in tow made that a little bit of an awkward scenario.
"I... I should... uh... Thanks?"
And are they leaving now?
What he needed as a hospital, but he had no idea how to check in with no real identity to speak of. They'd probably check that stuff, or something. At least even his know nothing teenage boy logic knew that beyond the ignorance of the finer points of healthcare billing.
But he had a stranger senshi and a guardian act helping him limp along, and he wasn't sure Lydia would react well to them just showing up on her doorstep like this.

Irene didn't stop moving. She was totally wiped by this point, and Helicon was much worse off, but stopping meant risking capture. That couldn't happen, not after everything they'd been through. And since Helicon was in no shape to take care of himself, or anyone else, she had to be strong enough for both of them.
"We're not out of the woods yet," she said briskly, keeping her pace and her voice even. She couldn't let herself succumb to her emotions, any more than she could buckle to the stitch in her side or her keen exhaustion. All of that would have to be dealt with, and soon, but first they needed to get someplace safe.
She moved without thinking about what was going on, or where they were going. It was only a matter of time before they showed up outside their apartment building. Rather than go in through the front, she herded her group towards the service entrance, but paused before opening the door. "Is the coast clear, *********?" Just because she couldn't feel anyone nearby didn't mean it was safe just yet.

Alas, the magical glamor of being a senshi only lasted so long. By the time the trio had made it back to the apartment complex, the cat-earred girl had long vanished and instead was merely a chubby manx holding up the rear.
"Yes, the coast is clear... but... um..."
The manx looked to the senshi uncertainly. "Are you sure you are ready for this? I mean... we are almost there..."
Irene had spent so much time trying to keep the boy safe by keeping him naive about the war. Bringing him back to where he lived, unprompted, might create some problems later.
