It felt likes ages since she had traveled through the forest at such a reckless speed. The alkidike wasn't about to waste time, as she and her mate had finally made themselves a home and she had discovered Animah's desire to have a family together. Though Jerarda didn't think there would be troubles asking Aisha for a child she also didn't want to assume. There was a small dark thought in the back of her mind on how they would be denied and how her mate would be crushed by that.

Shaking her head she needed to find Rishima, for he was an integral part of her plan to get Animah to the island so they could pray to Aisha together. But they would need someone else to escort them. Though Jerarda had the respect of the elders she had been rather rattled when her loyalty had been the subject of debate the last time she had spoken with them. Now she had chosen a outsider as her mate, what would they think of that?

Taking a quite breather she sighed as she scanned the area, she had already gone past the rather abandoned home that Rishima's stalker was building and she wondered if he had taken what she had suggested to heart. Still where was he? Grumbling she wondered if perhaps she had been mistaken, maybe he had left the forest and gone out into the world. What if...what if his stalker had taken him hostage and tied him up somewhere? Though her mind went to perverted things she had to shake it to remind herself that Rishima was strong...and that Gerraden even as persistant as he was, wouldn't be able to do such a thing.

At times like this she pondered the idea of getting a radaku, they were good trackers...Leaning forward she tilted her head as she spotted something...or rather someone familiar. Carefully she picked her way forward from the tree tops to make sure it was whom she thought it was.

After a long time spent on the Chibale Isles Rishima was out and about again, on another patrol that would eventually bring him to the village where Gerraden lived. It had been some time since he'd seen the other hybrid man and he found that he missed him. He couldn't go rushing there though, not wanting to seem as though he was more important then the safety of his sisters and Aisha. He'd continue his patrols as normal, look out for dangerous creatures, dangerous people, and the like, make something nothing and nobody was skulking too close to the beaches for his taste. Once he was certain that everything within the perimeter that he'd set up in his head was in order then he would see about visiting Gerraden. The question then became would he even be home?

Rishima's antenna gave a little twitch at the thought, wondering if he would end up going all the way there only to find that Gerraden was out and about or that he'd found someone else to follow around. To be fair he wouldn't be able to complain too much since it had been some time since he'd been able to catch up with him. After the war ended things had been so busy for Rishima, then his visit home had him given various work, then the meeting with Aselia. He supposed it would only make sense if Gerraden found someone else to chat with and stare at. He wouldn't even complain since it wouldn't be his place, though there was that part of him deep down that didn't quite like the idea that Gerraden might build that dream house he'd been chatting about for someone else.

It was a thought that he quickly pushed back though, not wanting to concentrate too hard on such a thing. No, he had to focus on what he was doing, on his work! Something he was able to do for a short amount of time, his mismatched eyes scanning the area when he heard what sounded like footsteps approaching. His mind whirled for a moment, picturing the man dangers that might he skulking about through the shadows of Jauhar. His hands tightened on his weapon and Rishi whirled around, preparing for a potential threat... only to find himself starring at Jerarda instead.

His eyes went wide, his mouth dropped open a little, and then he hurried forward, "Ah! Sister!" It had been way too long since he'd seen her and at the moment all he wanted was to hug her and make sure that she was real and not just a result of too much time patrolling Jauhar alone.

Jerarda was impressed, she had been quiet as she had moved along trying to distinguish the figure and upon closer inspection she was pleasantly surprised to find that it was Rishima whom she had found. When he spun around sensing her she was even more impressed with his prowess and she felt a bit of sadness. Here he had grown up without her even realizing it. How long ago had it been that she had found him timid and afraid of the world?

"Rishima my sister it has been far too long." She murmured as she dropped her weapon to the forest floor and then enveloped Rishima in a very firm hug.

It was like refinding a lost loved one, she had to admit that she cared for Rishima quite a bit, like he was her own sister via flesh and blood versus lotus. "I see that you are stronger, I can tell just by looking at you." Jerarda spoke as she touched her antenna to his, a hand coming to stroke his cheek as she looked him over in a motherly fashion. "I don't suppose your stalker has done things to you?" Was of course her next question, if Gerraden had the balls to actually go after Rishima rather than just be stuck in his own dream land. "Your not living in that horrible home he was trying to build are you? I forbid it...that place is a death trap."
PostPosted: Wed Mar 11, 2015 9:03 am

Rishima let the spear he was carrying fall so that he could return the hug, holding on tightly to Jerarda for a moment, not really wanting to let her go now that he'd found her again. The world always tended to see way to big when you were looking for a single person in it after all. Looking up at her he gave a smile, "It has been far too long." He agreed, then said, "I am so glad to see you again though, especially like this! It's such a wonderful surprise!"

Cheeks going a little pink he gave a nod, "Perhaps a little stronger, I have been doing my best." He said, antennae twitching a little as her antennae touched his. His expression went from one of happiness to one of slight confusion, "Done things to me? No, it's been a while since I have seen him I regret to say. I was thinking of visiting him to see how he's been when my patrol is through though." Now he found himself wondering what she meant by the 'done things' part and if Gerraden was planning something he didn't know about?

"Eh? Horrible home?" He looked even more confused, especially as he was forbidden from it due to it being a 'death trap'. He tilted his head to one side then, "I... don't understand? He made it seem as though he was building quite a lovely place and asked if I wanted to come live there too." What had happened to make it a death trap? Had the Obans destroyed it before the war ended? Maybe some Menzuri moved in? The possibilities were endless he supposed.

Surprised at the comment about Rishima's stalker she wondered if Vollerei and herself had been perhaps a bit too mean to him when tying him up awhile ago. They...did release him right? There was a moment where she couldn't actually remember if they ever untied Gerraden but she wasn't that cruel...so they must of. She hoped at least. Taking Rishima by the hand she squeezed it happily to see him again. It had been far too long, with too many things getting in the way she often had to remind herself that life couldn't be spent worrying over everything. After all if she hadn't stopped for a moment and realized her feelings for Animah they never would of become one.

"Rishima, I am glad you are doing well, but do not lie to your sister. I see those bags under your eyes..you are pushing yourself too hard. " The ever head strong Alkidike stated as she went to pull him towards a boulder and force him to sit down. "I am going to build us a small fire. I've been searching for you with big news and I hope you can help me with it. As well we can spend some time catching up..." Jerarda stated firmly as she then went to retrieve their weapons and sit them beside the hybrid. When had Rishima grown up so much? She felt a bit lost in her sisterly act and pondered if she would be able to become a good parent...

The gathering of small sticks was quick and efficient, soon a fire was started and she was cooking small fruits she had skewered on a sharpened stick. There were so many things she wanted to ask him..but now she was at a loss for words.

"After the war...it feels like I lost you...I know we've both been busy..I've been too busy and I should of come looking for you sooner...I am sorry Rishima."

Rishima's antennae gave a little twitch before he laughed, "Well, you know how it can be. It seems the harder I work the more responsibilities that I end up with. I do those tasks, which in turn gets me more. It's a bit like running in a circle some days." He said, about to sweet up his weapon when he instead found himself captured and pulled along, being made to sit down. It was nice to do since he felt like he was constantly moving, there was only a moment that he worried if he should, reminding himself that the war was over. It should be alright to take a break and if there was anyone in the world that he'd do that for it would be Jerarda.

"Big news?" He asked in a curious manner, wondering what it might be. Surely good news since she didn't seem as though she were upset over anything, right? No, if it was bad news she likely have already dragged him off to help her to deal with... well, whatever it might be. As such he gave a smile and said, "Catching up sounds nice." There was a lot to talk about after all, so they might be here a while, something that sounded nice to him since the last time they had a good, long sit down felt like ages ago.

As Jerarda set about apologizing to him he gave a shake of his head, "It's alright, I know that since we both carry high rank amongst our sisters that the elders are sure to have us running around with lists of things to do." He said, not wanting for her to think that he was upset, "Besides, you're here now, that's what matters most."

LIstening to Rishima regal her with the tales of how he was staying busy, his new rank giving him even more responsibilities she pondered on what the elders would say about her request. Would they think she was shirking her own duties? That she had turned her back on her people to propagate with an earthling..? For once she felt ill and uneasy with where she was in her life. She loved Animah, and if Animah desired a family she would do what was in her power to achieve it. Looking to Rishima as she finished cooking one kabob of fruit she moved over to hand it to him before going to retrieve another sharpened stick and begin the process all over again.
"I am surprised you have not seen your...hybrid friend. The last I saw him he was quite intent on building you that..place he called a home. I will admit Rishima I gave him a hard time...and perhaps it was my fault that you havn't seen him." Jerarda admitted wanting to clear the air before announcing her big news. After all she had anticipated that Gerraden wouldn't of taken her teasing to heart, he seemed like the type of guy who could bounce back from anything.
"Have you been to see Aisha lately?" She continued wondering how things were on her home island, she hadn't been back there since her loyalty was questioned. Perhaps she still held a bit of resentment at how she had been treated before.

Rishima tilted his head to one side, looking a bit curious, "Oh? Trying to toughen him up too?" He asked in a curious manner, knowing that his sister believed in tough love at times but that was what got Rishi out into the world and helped him onto the right path, the one that led him to where he was today, "He's alright though?" He found himself a little worried about Gerraden now. He was a nice guy but was he tough enough to keep up with Jerarda if she was going to press him? A question that he didn't quite know the answer to really.

"Hm? Oh! Yes, a couple of times." He said, giving a smile before he asked, "Did you know that we have a third Mystic serving Aisha now? I didn't even know that such a thing was possible until I met with her. Her name is Aselia and she is quite a sweet sister, I mentioned you to her." He loved Jerarda so of course he'd mention her to the newest mystic even if it had been in passing, telling her about how strong Jerarda was.

Jerarda inwardly flinched at his comment, toughen him up wasn't quite what she had been doing. In fact it was more like she was trying to drive him away, like an over protective mother hen not wanting her baby to leave the nest. Of course she wasn't his mother, she was his sister and she had to wonder how his real mother was fairing now that Rishima had his own life. She felt a bit guilty about how she did things in her younger brasher days.
"I will admit Rishima I didn't think he was good enough for you...perhaps I was jealous seeing my little sis..er...brother growing up and a wo..er...man already. I was being selfish and didn't want you to to settle down, but then...I went and left you alone so I have no right to interfere.." She admitted with a slow shrug.
Jolting she looked to Rishima with an surprised expression as it was revealed a third mystic was now serving the great mother. How long had she been gone? It was ceritanly time she went back now to catch up .. "I ..see..a new mystic." She couldn't help but overthing things, like why the great mother was baring more mystics, did she feel threatened? Trying to pass the dread she finished cooking her own fruit before heading over to sit beside Rishima in a rather close proximity.
"My news...is more of a request than anything..."
PostPosted: Wed Mar 11, 2015 11:00 am

Rishima's antennae gave a little twitch, wondering what she meant about him not being good enough. Was it because he was living in an Earthling village and wielding an Earthling weapon? Gerr did seem a bit more in tune with the Shifter people but he had shown some interest in the Alkidike and Aisha, he had been trying to get to the Chibale Isles when they first met if he recalled right. Probably best not to tell Jerarda that though, she might go after Gerraden again if she knew that. No, he'd keep that secret between himself and Gerraden he decided before giving Jerarda a smile, "You know I don't mind you calling me 'sister' I never have." He said in a reassuring manner when she tried to correct herself, "It's a habit I've sort of picked up and I've called male hybrids 'sister' in the past before." Both Gerraden and Yaholo if he recalled right. A habit he got from Jerarda that sort of stuck.

He nodded, "She's working with Kadriye and Eshe, learning all that the two know from the sounds of it." He said with a smile. He didn't know all of what that entailed, he just knew that they served closer to Aisha then normal sisters did. It sounded as though it would be interesting and he would cheer Aselia on since she seemed as though she could use the encouragement. Not to mention he did feel a little protective of her so he supposed he could understand how Jerarda felt when it came to trying to chase Gerraden off.

"Hm? A request?" He asked, then gave a smile, "You know I would do anything for you, Jerarda, you need only ask!" He leaned in a little closer, waiting with an intent look on face, quite curious as to what she needed him to do.

Jerarda looked over to Rishima a smile forming on her lips as she ws chastiesed over calling him brother instead of sister. It had taken her a long time to actually register and accept his gender despite the obvious signs. Still she felt a bit silly having obviously ignored his gender completely. Leaning into Rishima it was like she had regained a missing part of herself. She loved Rishima, in a stronger way than she loved her other sisters. It was the same with Phenyo though she wondered now...if Phen..was...okay. That sister always fallowed her around, but after their last argument...

Trying to shake her head of the bad feelings and thoughts she had to remind herself that Phenyo was an adult and could take care of herself. Now she had Rishima and she had Animah and she didn't need to worry about other things just now.

"This may come to a surprise but I have found myself a mate. She is..an mixed earthling..by the name of Animah. She desperately wishes for children so I suggested we go pray to the great mother for a lotus." Jerarda stated slowly, wondering what Rishima would think of the fact she was settling down with an earthling of all people. Especially considering her background in arrogance and pride. "I want to request you to escort us to the islands, I have already sent word ahead to warn the elders...but you recal the last time we brought a non sister home..." Jerarda stated bringing up the time when a shifter male by the name of Takoda had begged them to take him to the island.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 11, 2015 12:34 pm

Rishima knew instantly that he was starring, but he couldn't help it. Jerarda had... found a mate? Not only a mate but one who was a mixed blood Earthling. Did that mean that she was part Alkidike or that she was a mix of Earthling tribes? One of those questions that went through his head but wasn't formed as words. Nothing really was at first as he listed to what the request was, for Rishima to bring them to meet with Aisha. Not only a meeting as had been requested in the past, but to actually pray to them for lotuses?

"You're going to have a child." He breathed, then gave a bright smile, "That's wonderful Jerarda! You're a wonderful sister so I am sure you will be a wonderful mother too." At least that was what he felt. It was an exciting idea, though a little sad too, wouldn't her having an Earthling mate mean she would be living where the Earthling did from now on? That he might not see her as often? Still, that she was so happy, that she would be raising little ones of her own, that was what mattered.

Giving her a smile he said, "I don't mind acting as an escort, I find that I am rather curious to meet your mate. She must be something special. She has to be tough." If she wanted to be able to keep up with Jerarda she must be someone amazing.

To say that she wasn't nervous about what Rishima would think about the fact she had choosen an earthling as her mate, of course her worries were unfounded as Rishima declared his happiness for her and the fact she wanted to have children. Releasing the breath she hadn't been aware she was holding she gave a smile, although a bit of a forced one. Yes she was pretty excited and nervous about becoming a parent though having Animah described as...'tough' actually made her laugh a bit.

"Well..we have a long history..I met her when I was pretty young and I stole her first kiss. I suppose it only meant she was meant to be mine from the start." She indulged this information to Rishima before taking a bite of her fruit. "I wouldn't exactly describe Animah as tough...she weilds magic and is strong minded when it comes to those in need. The dretch ...had targeted her and destroyed her home..it was then that I realized that I couldn't see my life without her. We have moved into the forest of Jahaur, I am pretty sure that the elders wouldn't allow an outsider to live on the islands..so we have set up here." She informed him now wanting to drag him to their underground tree home and show it off. Looking to Rishima she wondered just how much he knew about Gerraden's feelings for him..

"You will get to meet her if you agree to escort us, I am very excited to involve all those I love in my life together. But how about you? Have you decided to settle down with that hybrid? I know you havn't seen him recently did you two fight?"
PostPosted: Wed Mar 11, 2015 2:10 pm

"That's sounds romantic." He murmured as Jerarda told him some about meeting her mate when they were younger and about Jerarda stealing the girl's first kiss and what that was a sign of. Very romantic indeed, something that put a smile on his face. At least until the mention of the Dretch. It was then his smile faltered a little, "That must have been frightening for the two of you." Her mate because her home had been destroyed and Jerarda because the one she cared about had been attacked. The Dretch really were a dangerous group, weren't they? Definitely a priority now that the Oban threat had passed.

Looking down at the food he was holding, realizing that he hadn't eaten any of it, Rishima lifted it up to take a bite out of it, chewed as he listened then swallowed, "So that is where you have been staying?" He asked, so she was living in the forests of Jauhar with her mate then? After a moment he nodded, "It makes sense, finding a place you will both with comfortable since she wouldn't exactly be allowed on the Isles." A shame since there were good people out there, those who had Alkidike lovers and mates, who might want to live there with their mate. A shame that someone like Jerarda felt she had to move for such a reason but it also showed how much she must be devoted to her mate.

"I look forward to meeting her then. Are the two of you wanting to meet with Aisha soon?" He asked, wondering exactly when it was that the pair were wanting to make their plea to the great mother. Of course that thought was interrupted when Jerarda was asking him about if he was going to settle down with Gerraden. His mismatched eyes went a little wide and he found himself sort of starring at her, "Huh? Settle down with Gerraden?" He asked quizzically, then shook his head, "Oh! No, no, the last time we chatted it was a really nice time! It's just... various things, like the war, seemed to get in the way of us meeting up again."

Jerarda gave a heavy sigh, it had been more than terrifying for her. Mostly due to the fact poor Animah was left to fight off the dretch on her own. Jerarda wasn't anywhere in the area to help her. Fidgeting on the spot she took abother rather forceful bite of her fruit angry with herself and not being able to protect Animah when she most needed it.

"It was horrible, I ..didn't find out until she drove them off. They set her home on fire..she had nothing left. Her beautiful garden was ashes. " She muttered sounding very irritated and sad at the same time, "that was when I decided I couldn't leave her anymore. I wanted to keep her safe...like another person I knew." She teased as she went to tug on one of Rishima's dreads.

As he inquired about meeting with Aisha she gave a slow nod, "Yes...Animah has babies on the brain and though I am not sure if I am ready to become a parent I want to make her happy. I warned her that even if we pray...Aisha may not grant us a lotus...I don't know if i could see her broken heart if that's the case." She murmured dreading ultimately that they would be denied a lotus. Trying to shift her worries onto something else she gave Rishima look and then tried not to smother her laugh.

"Oh? So the constant starring and puppy eye's he gives you have not effected you at all? I see..and here I thought Gerraden would of swept you off your feet already. He seems quite devoted to you." Jerarda stated with a shrug, "Guess I was wrong."
