Dice 1: Illo

The rains had come, something that Chalcedony was currently watching by himself from the tall trees of Jauhar. He'd found himself a nice, dry place to sit, likely one of few around, and was waiting there for the rains to slack off a bit. It was quiet this time save for the rain, even a little lonely he'd dare to say. The last time that he'd taken a break due to the rains he'd run into Rayolun but this time it would appear as though it was going to be him all on his own. It something that had him sighing just a bit as he leaned back against the tree, "Kind of lonely, I think I might head home after the rains slack off or maybe to Keilana's place to see how she and the boys are doing." He mused to himself.
The rains had sort of put a damper on his usual visits, holding him back from visiting as often as he'd like. He would need to go check on them, see if the boys were behaving yet, as well as see if Keilana needed anything. He did miss chatting with her he thought to himself as he leaned back against the tree, giving a soft sigh as he did. Lifting a hand to itch at his shoulder Chalcedony suddenly froze, feeling something there under his hand. Turning his head slowly he found himself looking at an... Illo? He blinked at it before picking the little worm up, looking it over, "Come on now, I am not here for you to perch on." He told it, lifting his hand to set it on a branch next to himself. Of course as he did that he found himself looking at several others that were sitting on the branches around him, and a good deal more that were climbing all over him and his shield which was sitting nearby.
"Hm, it seems that you guys have me outnumbered, don't you?" He murmured, poking at one of them before he turned to look toward the direction he guessed his sons to be in and said, "A shame that Aysun isn't here, he'd probably want to collect the whole lot of you and bring you all home with him." Not as though he needed so many of the Illo but since when had that stopped Aysun? He gave a little smile as he gathered them up and set them aside one by one, carefully, so as not to hurt any of them. If any of them got hurt because he wasn't careful he was sure that his son wouldn't forgive him for it. Besides, it wasn't as though the Illo were bothering him, they were just climbing all over him, doing as he was, hiding from the rain.
"It's alright, I guess we can all hang out together until this rain slacks off." He told the Illo, moving a few more of them to the branches, trying to find them all comfortable perches that they could wait it out on but it would appear as though they wanted to sit all over him instead. He'd guess that it was because it was a little cooler out then usual and they were looking for warmth. It was something that he had, hence why the critters were holding onto him so tightly. The big Shifter finally gave a bit of a chuckle, leaning back against the tree once more and said, "Alright, alright, go ahead. I am just going to rest up and you guys... well, you can do whatever you like." He wasn't going to win against them, not when there were so many of them wanting to climb all over him. It was just easier to let them have their way and he could chase them off later.
It really didn't take all that long before the Illo returned in full force, climbing all over him once more. It was a strange feeling, something that he knew for certain that Aysun would love. If only his son was here, he could entertain the Illo in his place but given that he wasn't here, given that it was just him, he supposed that he was going to just have to put up with it. Still it would be a lot easier if there was someone else to help him wrangle them. He looked around for a moment, gave a little sigh, nope, no luck. There was a part of him that wished that someone to chat with would pop up but it would appear as though he didn't have any luck as far as that went. Another time, perhaps.
Letting his eyes sink closed he did his best to deal with the critters as they climbed all over him, feeling he could deal with it. At least until the rains slacked off and he could be on his way that was.
